We went for lunch today. The staff were attentive and always smiling. The food was delicious, definitely worth it!

If you go to Genzano, eating at Mascelloni is a must. They're famous for their pappardelle with wild boar in white sauce, their Genzano pork butcher's shop, pannicolo, campanallo, and abbacchio alla svinatora. Their pizzas are also excellent. With their warm welcome, they make you feel right at home, not to mention the fantastic service. Always ask Stefano for advice on food and wine pairings. Reservations are recommended. I have to say it was a truly wonderful discovery! I had appetizers, pizza, and dessert: everything was truly delicious, with authentic flavors and generous portions. The pizza in particular was well-cooked and tasty, while the dessert ended the meal perfectly. An added bonus is definitely the owner, who is helpful and knowledgeable, attentive to the customer, and always ready to offer the best advice. The quality-price ratio was also excellent: I paid a fair amount for what I ate. Recommended for anyone looking for a cozy place to eat well without breaking the bank!

Overall, the place fell short of expectations. The atmosphere is very charming, a nice mix of vintage and modern, and the table service has always been helpful and attentive. The only drawback, unfortunately, is the quantity and quality of the dishes: in many of the dishes our group ordered, such as the pappardelle with wild boar, the heifer with pecorino and pancetta, and the picanha, the quantity was disproportionate to the overall price, and the seasoning was almost nonexistent. I expected much more in terms of value for money and the overall quantity of the dishes, which is a shame.

Very nice and spotlessly clean place, welcoming and friendly staff. Stefano, the owner, is a perfect host: kind, friendly, and helpful. This time I had the pizza, which was perfect: crunchy, tasty, and above all light. I promised myself I'd return to try the homemade pappardelle and the other delicacies the restaurant offers. Highly recommended.

We had lunch on New Year's Day... excellent experience... delicious food... truly handmade tagliatelle... very tender meat... the owner is very friendly and puts you at ease... We traveled quite a few kilometers... but it was for a walk out of town, but we will definitely be back next time!!

A family dinner, the atmosphere was refined, as was the food. We'll be back
