22/08/2025: A well-stocked tobacconist's with everything you need, friendly staff—I assume the owner is a pleasant chatterbox—fair, non-touristy prices, a nice coffee machine, average extraction, and a lot of robusta, as is generally the case here. The outdoor terrace, almost opposite the Circus Maximus, makes for a quick pit stop, as it should be.

13/04/2025: The best and most traditional coffee we had in Rome. We had the best cappuccino and puff pastry of the entire trip.

02/09/2025: A truly excellent café – a pleasant atmosphere, friendly service, and truly excellent coffee and sweet rolls! It's the perfect place for both a quick stop and a longer get-together with friends. I highly recommend it 🥰

20/07/2025: The bar was practically empty; we drank an Aperol and played cards. After about 10 minutes, it was made clear to us that card playing was prohibited and not in keeping with the concept.

26/08/2025: I gave 3 stars, the cake was good, shame about the rudeness and the mockery, I asked for a cake for 10/12 people and I found myself with a cake for 20. Moral of the story: 70 euros for a cake. Failed!!

28/04/2025: Abbiamo scelto questo ristorante grazie al sito ben fatto, con menu facile da trovare e chiaro con i prezzi, indizio di hrande serietà (e sicurezza di sé), ma lo abbiamo scelto anche grazie alle recensioni positive. Ebbene: ci abbiamo visto giusto. Abbiamo pranzato venerdì 25 aprile, in coppia. Siamo stati accolti con estrema gentilezza dal personale, che ci ha accompagnato al nostro tavolo, vicino alla bella vetrata da cui si vedeva anche il mare. Abbiamo scelto i crudi con ostriche Gillardeau, i famosi polipetti di Fiumicino, tagliatelle alla cernia, calamaro, e poi un'ottima triglia fritta. Tutto buonissimo, preparato con eleganza, abbondante. Il pesce è davvero fresco. La pasta e il pane sono fatti in casa, e si sente. I vini hanno prezzi onesti (e non è poco). Il servizio è stato veloce e attento, nonostante il ristorante fosse pieno, e alterna ragazzi giovani e veloci a persone con maggiore esperienza che si accertano che tutto vada bene. Verso la fine è passata al tavolo anche la proprietaria, altro segno che alle Brocchette tengono al cliente. Si vede che è tutto organizzato con precisione, ma soprattutto si percepisce che tutti lavorano con serenità, apparendo sempre tranquilli e questo contribuisce alla atmosfera rilassante, che rimane tale nonostante il tutto esaurito. Non possiamo che fare i nostri complimenti a tutto lo staff, con l'augurio che non rinuncino mai alla qualità, tenendo i prezzi come sono ora, corretti e abbordabili. Così, c'è sempre la voglia di tornare.

16/08/2025: We had two glasses of wine, two bottles of water, and two aperitifs for €25 each, one of which was paid in advance by bank transfer, as requested. Let's start with the discomfort: in the vineyard, I don't expect to sit in an armchair, nor with two seat cushions that are like wafers. Those nice, wide seat cushions exist, or at least the ones you have would be a little more padded. Otherwise, put a mat, even if it's not too thick, that insulates you from the ground. That said, let's get to the platter, which was simply awful. I hate to say it, but that's how it is. I had high expectations, but they were completely unfulfilled. For €25 each, you foisted on us a platter with supermarket-quality cold cuts. And if it wasn't from the supermarket, believe me, change suppliers. After all, I'm just another person who points it out. Then we talk about some of the options: two slices of cheese, two spoonfuls of tasteless ricotta instead of mozzarella, and then the turkey breast. Along with the prosciutto crudo and the cheap salami, the turkey breast. I didn't know I was on a diet. I don't know... mortadella, pork loin... No, the breast. Bah! Not to mention that tasteless little bowl of farro with peas. Two forkfuls each. A shriveled porchetta of dubious quality that had clearly caught air, which I'll draw a veil over. I'm attaching a photo, because it's not a €50 platter. We finished the platter, and after waiting 35 minutes, a waiter came to ask if we wanted another glass. So we decided to leave, but as we were leaving, the staff informed us that they still had fried food to serve. We didn't know, so we sat down again. It was a small parcel for one with three fritters inside, and no one even asked me if I wanted more wine. So I decided it was fine. The staff was kind but far too young and lacking in experience. I've also worked in contact with the public, and customers deserve attention. Tonight I came to the vineyard to drink water; I drank a whole bottle. We asked for advice on the wine—we always ask those who know more than us—but they didn't let us taste the wine once it was poured. Even if the bottle were already open, it should have been the same. Or does the fact that you're in the vineyard mean you might not like it or it might taste corked, as they say in slang?! I think it's just the basics. They even let me taste Annamaria Clementi in a Michelin-starred restaurant, and that says it all. I think we should accept criticism every now and then, without justifying the unjustifiable by saying "you drink water from a glass" and "you eat from porcelain plates" or "the kitchen is far away" as I see in your other replies to other reviews. Excuse me, but two aperitifs, two glasses of wine, two bottles of water, €70.00, did you want me to eat from a plastic bag?! 🤷🏼‍♀️ It's fine to defend the staff in public and then possibly admonish them in private, but then, where you make a mistake, you make a mistake. The description on the website is far too exaggerated and inconsistent with reality. €25.00 in advance and €44.00 paid tonight, based on the offer and the experience, if we had known, we would have gone out to dinner. The truth is that it's a seasonal service and we want to make as much money as possible. I haven't been a restaurateur, but I have been a salesperson and I completely understand, but this just isn't fair. If the recent reviews are mostly negative and everyone's pointing out the same things, instead of standing here justifying the unjustifiable, I'd focus on correcting the situation. And if you don't want to correct the situation, at least correct the prices. I was disappointed that you didn't have change at the register this evening and that you gave us an extra €1 because you couldn't change the money. Thank you, but it goes without saying that whoever is in charge of the register is responsible for it, so I have no complaints about the customer. We won't be coming back, but I imagine you'll invite me to do so yourself, just like you did with other customers who, like me, have criticized you.

10/08/2025: I booked to surprise my wife for her birthday, but the real surprise was the location, the kindness and elegance of the owner and her staff, as well as the quality and quantity of the food. We opted for the aperitif dinner, and I must say the portions are truly varied and generous, and the attention to detail from all the staff makes this wonderful place even more magical. My vegetarian menu was nothing short of amazing and truly delicious (even my non-vegetarian wife confirmed the deliciousness and quality of the classic menu). The photos on the website and in the reviews don't do justice to its beauty; in person, it's even more beautiful, and we especially appreciated the space between each pallet. I loved eating sitting on the blanket and cushions, but it might be uncomfortable for some. One last piece of advice: don't trust the negative reviews; we've traveled extensively in Italy and abroad, and we agree with my wife that it's one of the most beautiful places we've ever been.

04/09/2025: Unfortunately, service stations have lost sight of the economic aspect. A breakfast costs €5. Useful for peeing, the rest is completely out of the market... a sandwich €8-9.

07/08/2025: What a pity. The food here was always very good and the selection was excellent. The place is nice and its one of the last good Osterie in central Rome. This time however the host did not say a word when I arrived, just made an arrogant head movement and showed me to a - ok decent - table. Roman arrogance! My waiter was nice but again on the rough side. And I know the roman difference of kind roughness and arrogant roughness since I was a child. But finally: Roman arrogance! Then a waiter and someone in the kitchen who thought they could not communicate except by screaming and bothering all guests completely ruined the evening. And that was sheer Roman stupidity. Pity as the food was really good.

14/08/2025: A facility with great potential that could offer much more, unfortunately compared to other nearby establishments that offer more or less the same things at somewhat high prices, including food prices. As you can see in the photo, a very humble lunch at a plastic table (two adults, a 5-year-old, and a 1-year-old) ended up costing me over €80. The icing on the cake was the behavior of the supposed owner's wife, an arrogant, rude woman who is completely incapable of dealing with the public at work. From the morning we were at the cash register to pay for admission, and subsequently on the various times I went to the bar, I always heard her complaining about everything, both to the establishment staff and to her husband. In particular, the episode I want to report is that at lunch, as shown in the photo, I was outside with plastic tables in the shade and my ONE YEAR OLD daughter at that time had a very delicate problem involving her very red private part, my wife laid her down for three seconds on the sofa near our table (not a restaurant), without removing the diaper, but just to check if everything was okay as the child was crying, at which point we found the lady who, feeling like a noblewoman who looks down on her subjects, told us that these things are not done in public, despite my wife explaining why, he continued to the end undeterred in wanting to be right, until my wife, already irritated by the state of our daughter's health, was forced to get angry, where there was an exchange of unpleasant comments. From that moment on, despite having paid over €200 for the beach, pool, and restaurant entrance fees, we were harassed by the noble lady. She sent the lifeguard to the beach to check if our umbrellas and loungers were as good as they were at the beginning of the day. After a while, the whole family went to the pool, and she again disrespectfully approached the pool attendant to ask her in front of everyone else if we had paid for the pool. Obviously, we had paid, so everything was in order, and at that point she couldn't say anything else. Finally, when we left the beach earlier than expected because I just wanted to leave, she didn't even respond to our greeting at the entrance, but instead looked at us with a sarcastic smile. I'm so sorry if she's not the owner, as this woman makes a bad impression on an organization that isn't like her, but certainly better. Unfortunately, despite having spent a fair amount of money to spend a relaxing day, we weren't at ease the entire afternoon, but were simply more irritated and stressed than when we left.

29/07/2025: Simple menu. Well-cooked food. Good quality ingredients. Clean and well-maintained place. Prices are too high. It's hard to justify a €3 coffee. We're on the Roman coast, not in Saint-Tropez or Porto Cervo.

14/08/2025: I want to acknowledge the courtesy and extreme professionalism of this tobacconist. First of all (as far as I'm concerned), it's one of the few places that accepts Amazon returns without labels, always with a smile. It's not easy because the store has to accumulate multiple shipments before the courier can pick them up. And not everyone does that. Plus, the space is perfectly air-conditioned, they're ALWAYS open (even on holidays and late at night), you can make any shipment, the shop is bright, spotlessly clean, and they'll always welcome you with a smile. Even if you pay for a coffee with your debit card!

13/07/2025: I've known Puccettone for years. They changed location a few weeks ago, but unfortunately, in my opinion, the outcome was a bit negative. They reduced the space, they reduced the ovens, and unfortunately, the service has suffered. Currently, they only offer a pizza menu; I understand the kitchen is absent. Of course, the pizza is always good. But you can't wait an hour and a half for your food. Other people even waited two hours. The space was so small that we were bumping into people behind us, and the waiters ended up asking us to pass things around because we couldn't fit. I'm truly disappointed... because I've always thought Puccettone was a truly excellent place to eat good Roman cuisine and good pizza. Let's hope for improvements in the future.

01/08/2025: The staff were very kind, courteous, and helpful. The supplì were truly excellent, highly recommended. The place is unpretentious and might not be inviting, but the savory dishes are the exact opposite: very good. As for the pastries, the selection is neither good nor bad.
