We were allowed to sit down even though the staff were still eating (scusi e grazie mille!). We thoroughly enjoyed the traditional Roman cuisine there!

What a wonderful restaurant. The service was perfect. The food was delicious... The waiters and owner were incredibly friendly. One of those typical Italian trattorias. We loved it. Warm regards to the owners from your Brazilian customers.

We went there a while ago with some friends from Naples, and we had a great time. A family atmosphere and truly Roman cuisine. I'd give it 10 stars if I could.

Antico Casale La Carovana

06/05/2026: I organized an aperitif at the Carovana to celebrate my 60th birthday (after having already been there for my son's Communion and Confirmation) and this time too it was a success: excellent and abundant food, impeccable organization and service, beautifully decorated patio and room and the magical atmosphere created by live music, all surrounded by a garden with Roman excavations... Thank you for helping to make an already unforgettable evening perfect.
