13/09/2025: We ate wonderfully, both first and second courses for lunch, and pizza in the evening. The first courses were incredibly generous and delicious, all homemade. The meat was excellent! The pizza was gigantic, thin, and crunchy! I highly recommend it.

20/05/2025: Piacevole scoperta in un quartiere ancora vivibile e poco conosciuto. Locale molto spazioso con ampio spazio esterno. Atmosfera vivace e familiare da osteria di quartiere. Personale amichevole e spontaneo. Cibo curato e di buona qualità. Sicuramente ci tornerò in una prossima sera d’estate.

20/01/2025: We made a mistake by taking place outside of this 'restaurant' without checking the reviews first. What a mistake. Actually we should have left after we got the 'menu' from the very unprofessional waitress. We took two of the daily menus and two pinsas, but still took 30-45 mins to prepare them. See the results below. Saltimbocca: tiny piece of meat with four pieces of potatoes. Cototoletta: meat thick as paper with some salad. Potatoes taste like the oil they fried them is two years old. I am pretty sure they've put the same sauce to Amatriciana and to gnocchi. The pinsa was chewy. And on top of this I noticed some hair from the waitress on my plate. This restaurant is shame of Rome. Make yourself a favour: STAY AWAY! I hope we'll forget this soon.

19/10/2024: A highly recommended place to eat in the center of Rome near the Spanish Steps. The food is exquisite (for a tourist area) and the service is exceptional. It's a family restaurant and the food is homemade. They make everything themselves. Very good value. Excellent.

28/10/2025: Typical traditional Roman cuisine just steps from the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore. A warm welcome and attentive, prompt service. Good value for money for excellent food.

Was this an honest mistake? Possibly. In any case, NO COMMENT! I think it's impolite to respond in the terms used instead of apologizing. A little more humility: "The customer is always right!" The vegetables and pasta dishes were good, the desserts a little less so (July 28, 2020, N.B.: two small disposable plastic cups of panna cotta with a thin layer of peach puree on top, a simple and unfortunately also tasteless dessert, but at a "grande patisserie" price = €12.00!!!). Takeout is available, but you can also eat in the shop; there's a counter with stools. A note on the decision to charge by weight rather than by portion, as is usually done 90% of the time in other excellent gourmet restaurants in Rome. The price is a sore point: €20.00 per kg for vegetables and €15.00 per kg for pasta dishes, cooked with simple yet excellent ingredients. "Picked and eaten," yes... but at a price of gold! "A broccoli is still a broccoli, never mistake it for a truffle!" A word to the wise.

01/11/2025: The owner is friendly and the atmosphere is lovely, but the wait is very long. We waited a while for two appetizers shared by four people, but an hour for the first courses. The food is good, but the portions are quite small for the octopus with creamed potatoes, the seafood salad, the fried fish, and the rice, but the prices are high. Recommended first course: the spaghetti al cartoccio.

01/07/2025: Not a very big place in the center of Trastevere, I was there for a concert and the atmosphere is really nice.

25/06/2025: A place belonging to the organizers of the Superaurora Festival, a disastrous event with endless lines for everything, absurd prices, a ban on bringing water when it's 40 degrees (and the bars have even finished it), uncontrolled access, wild parking in the pine forest on paths and cycle paths and so on and so forth. As if that wasn't enough, the organization then deleted the negative comments on Instagram and BLOCKED the paying customers who complained. Absurd

14/07/2025: The best egg pasta in Italy, and I say this after having traveled far and wide across our country, sampling all the best pasta dishes from prestigious restaurants. This result is achieved using top-quality, fresh ingredients, as well as the experience and professionalism of the owner, who is always friendly and smiling. I can only recommend this place to everyone and let them try these amazing, extraordinary products without hesitation.

01/11/2025: As a Sicilian, I can say that the cannoli are delicious. The ricotta is incredibly fresh, and they fill them right in front of you. Truly excellent!!

26/09/2025: I ordered a cake for ten people, a hazelnut and chocolate semifreddo, truly exceptional! Creamy, balanced in flavors, and made with ingredients you can taste from the first bite. It's one of those cakes that everyone agrees on and that stays in your memory. I can't wait to go back and try the pistachio one, too.

15/10/2025: I'd give it one star for the rude, insolent behavior of all the staff; they practically spit in your face. I'd give it a higher rating for the average, cafeteria-style food. Just so you understand, they focus on quantity, not quality. A customer arrives quickly, 10 waiters hover around you, yelling, laughing at you, and after your meal, asking you every second if you want anything else until you leave. The chairs are old and uncomfortable, and the restroom next to the kitchen is a particularly unsanitary place ;))) Go away and find another place!
