01/07/2025: My family and I went to this trattoria. Carbonara not great because the carbocrema was overcooked and seemed like an omelette and there was very little pecorino. Scaloppine good and also the tiramisu. Honest quality-price and simple location.

Not to mention the food: I have never eaten so well at any other wedding in my life. As I write I am still amazed at how much they exceeded the already high expectations. 02/04/2025: Not having organized my wedding here, I still wanted to leave a negative review to denounce the truly rude treatment received from the customer service of this place…. The attitude was totally unacceptable and rude for no reason. I don't even understand why he was treated this way. It almost seems like they want to drive customers away. I'm sorry for anyone who finds themselves experiencing this situation because of a rude employee, but I don't accept being treated like this. I will change places where I won't feel like a bother

09/07/2025: I was there today with a friend of mine and we ordered a starter for two, land! 2 cuts of meat, one with porcini mushrooms and one with martini sauce, mine medium rare and his well done, along with a ci Orietta to share! Considering that for me it's not a bad restaurant, also for this reason I would like to try to return one day! Today, let's say a few things went wrong, like the slow service and the incorrect cooking of the meat! My medium came out well done, and since I went there for the meat that had been recommended to me by friends, I was disappointed when I saw a different cooking method for the meat that was then taken off my bill, but I would have preferred to eat it because I really wanted it! Too bad, maybe next time.

08/07/2025: Here you can find both traditional Roman dishes and seafood. The selection of aged meats is also excellent. The dishes are generous and the ingredients are high-quality, with fair prices for both quantity and quality. I will definitely be back.

04/07/2025: New management confused and not up to par, decidedly terrible service after waiting about half an hour they didn't give me all the pizza I had paid for, tried to call but the phone didn't exist or was knocked out, I went back but my pizza had already been partially resold, at least they gave me my money back

12/05/2025: I come to Ostia rarely, but when it happens this has become my go-to bar. I recommend it: the environment is quiet and the place is particularly clean compared to the competition. Accurate and meticulously monitored service by Mrs. Monica, who is at the checkout and who I have always found to be smiling and helpful. Excellent pastries for breakfast and tea. Coffee is particularly appreciable, which in these times is no longer something that is easily found with a guarantee of goodness. They tell me that the diner for lunch is particularly good: with a varied menu and excellent quality. I haven't had the chance to try it in person yet, but the office where I go when I come here to Ostia, which is less than 100 meters from the bar, has 6 employees and everyone agrees that since the new management took over (early 2025) this is the place where you can eat the best at competitive prices. The covered veranda with the tables outside the bar and especially the tables in the internal corridor room are worth appreciating. Among the few places where you can calmly have a coffee or tea, even in company, and feel happy without confusion at all hours of the morning and afternoon

08/05/2025: Every day I have both breakfast and lunch and both are the best of whalers, Monica and her husband are two exceptional people, easy-going and friendly. I recommend you eat at their place for lunch or even just try their croissants!

05/08/2025: On a trip to Rome, my family and I visited the shop twice since we were staying nearby: The first day, Wednesday. Somewhat late, without people, the gentleman who served us (with short hair and a pigtail on his head) had a typical behavior, in contrast to the second gentleman of the shop, (possibly the owner) who was very warm. We ate a typical Italian meal of spaghetti, pizza. I can't say that I was excited but it wasn't indifferent either. What I want to focus on is the second time, when we went again on Friday at 20:30. The shop was relaxed with people and without any pressure in the service, we waited 10 minutes at the entrance patiently in case someone served us .......... ....... UNFORTUNATELY however, the first gentleman (with the pigtail) had a very rude, unacceptable behavior that in the end with an inelegant gesture, essentially told us, GO AWAY I don't care about you, and we left. If, dear sir, you choose customers to report it. I am sincerely sorry for your attitude and rudeness, but do not consider yourself a professional!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! .Unfortunately you are not............. good luck to you

07/05/2025: The best dinner we had in Italy, period! Steak is a must.. Carbonara is the best! This restaurant is a little bit tucked away, but give it a try. It was very reasonably priced and no frill. You will love it!!!

13/04/2025: A very pleasant and tasty evening. An intimate and relaxing environment. I go out to dinner to relax, chat, eat well. My wife is a vegetarian. We had warned them and they had prepared a version of their appetizers specifically. Here it was all above my expectations in the decidedly pleasant context of Genzano.

02/08/2025: I stumbled upon this place by chance and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the ice cream. Perhaps the best zabaglione I've ever tasted! Prices are a little above average, but they're adequate for the quality of the products.

01/08/2025: I don't know if I just had a bad day. I got a waffle cone for €3.50, two flavors that were also excellent, but the amount of ice cream was embarrassing. I also noticed the difference in the scoop for the waffle cone and the regular cone, and the scoop for the waffle cone was decidedly small in my opinion, given that the cone/ice cream ratio was really unbalanced. Overall, the ice cream is good, but it's a shame to cause dissatisfaction over small details!

03/07/2025: Very kind, they made us sit down and made available an electrical outlet for an emergency situation in which my partner had to connect a PC and have a meeting, they also gave us water for our dog and turned on a fan especially for us. I also took a centrifuge excellent.

11/07/2025: The guys at the tables are very good and kind. The only downsides are: 1) a menu with no prices; 2) a plate of beans cost €14.50... well, they were with pork rinds... but maybe serve it to rich tourists, not Romans, who never come back.

01/04/2025: 4 days in Rome as a family, with our sons. An aperitif on Saturday March 29 we found the place very nice and Hélèna the waitress was extremely friendly. So we returned there on Sunday March 30 for an aperitif and dinner. We found the same smile from the day before and discovered Hélèna's many qualities: kindness, professionalism, patience, availability and kindness 😊 despite the errors in our Italian language and some misunderstandings😅 Thank you to this wonderful waitress like you rarely see, the waiter was also very smiling and very friendly. Service is extremely important, I know how to recognize good people in the profession as well. Congratulations to the kitchen brigade who delighted us. Don't change anything and above all stay yourself. 🙏😊
