16/08/2025: This review is late as I've been frequenting this bar for three years now. The coffee is spectacular, the staff are very attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere is family-like, especially during Antonella's afternoon karaoke.

It was lovely to talk with the owner and hear about aspects of China imported to Rome hundreds of years ago, later transformed into typical Italian culinary traits. The dishes are well-prepared and respectful of Chinese culture; you won't find any Westernized dishes.

12/10/2025: The worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. We arrived at the restaurant without our reservation, and I assure you there were quite a few of us. We realized that this inconvenience had also affected other customers arriving after us. From there, the Maracana of seating began, with the owners starting to jam and move people from one table to another because they were in total chaos. But honestly, this was the positive and fun scene of the evening; now we get to the real negatives. The inside dining room was 80% full of children, screaming, coming and going uncontrollably, and I hate to say it, but without any manners. When the owner was brought to the attention of this, he shrugged and went back to the register, but then had a stroke of genius: he turned the music up full blast. I'll leave you to imagine what that room was like at that moment. Let's move on to what we didn't eat, because since it was a large table, they saw fit to serve us very slowly and, moreover, with only one serving of pinsa, which wasn't even one per person, but rather prepared just for the sake of it. The pizza with the guanciale thrown in just for the sake of it, with raw zucchini on top, and with 90% of the pinsa that were whiter than seasoned because the seasoning was concentrated in the center, so some people that evening only ate the empty edges, and even a few at that. Let's get to the bottom of it: I understand we're in a time of crisis, but if someone is aware of their restaurant, they won't create the same atmosphere as last night. Above all, they can't let such bland pinsa leave the kitchen. I'm sorry, but we all lost out, and I don't think we were the only ones to make this decision last night.

30/10/2025: So, so delicious! We specifically went to try Roman dishes, and thoroughly enjoyed all of them: cacio e pepe, carbonara, veal saltimbocca, oxtail, fried artichoke, chicory, and the tiramisu! Good to note, though, is that we lined up outside shortly before opening on a Thursday night and barely got a table (people after us were waiting ~45 to be seated), so reservations are recommended.

18/10/2025: Friendly and professional service, nice atmosphere even if it's closed off... the dishes are disappointing compared to when I came years ago... the Jewish-style artichokes are cold and not very crispy, the grilled meat could have cooked a couple of minutes longer... the bill is exorbitant for two artichokes, two meat main courses, a bottle of wine... 105 euros... we're not there yet

24/09/2025: If you're complaining about the prices, it's because you haven't been to a restaurant lately. Beautiful location, currently with outdoor tables among the olive trees. Cocktail bar and sofa areas that probably get lively in the late evening. A la carte menu featuring an excellent meat selection. Good wine selection. Interesting appetizers that are different from the usual. Friendly and attentive staff. Prices in line with the quality of the offerings. My only suggestion is to season the tartare more generously; I was expecting small pieces of Iberian ham in between the meat, but instead I got a small piece on the side on the mayonnaise. The pink peppercorns were missing. Ample parking.

05/11/2025: We had spaghetti vongole and shrimp scampi at this lovely restaurant where food was divine and the service was amazing. The place is run by the owner and his beautiful wife - very warm and friendly service. Will definitely come back if I get a chance to be back in Rome (fingers crossed!)

03/11/2025: I especially recommend the bottarga, porcini mushrooms, and vongole. Each dish was delicious, bringing out the natural flavors of the ingredients. Mamma's tart and chocolate cake after the meal were also delicious and well-sized, more than worth the price. The staff were all friendly and made for a truly enjoyable experience. Thank you!!

12/09/2025: Good meat in a simple setting... customer service was excellent, although in our case there were some imperfections in the service... but perhaps because it was reopening after the holidays. My carpaccio took a long time to arrive and wasn't seasoned as per the menu. I'll gladly return to eat more meat cooked on that beautiful grill. Excellent value for money.

28/09/2025: We came to this place to celebrate my birthday, and as soon as I arrived, I had a small hiccup that the staff promptly helped me resolve. Once inside, we were seated in a rustic, yet simple and charming setting, surrounded by greenery. The service was truly excellent; everyone was very kind and welcoming, and to be honest, the cocktails were delicious too! We'll definitely be back!

20/09/2025: Yesterday was a perfect evening, in an enchanting place where you can breathe in nature and a priceless serenity. My four friends and I finally got to experience WOOD. Our first impression was one of wonder, because finding yourself in an oasis of peace just steps from the city traffic is not a given. The location is truly evocative, like entering an open-air residence, bathed in lights and small natural lounges, surrounded by greenery and soft music that envelops you. The staff is extraordinarily kind and courteous; we immediately felt welcomed by the smiles, politeness, and professionalism of the waiters. I found the food to be truly high quality. We ordered a platter of cured meats and cheeses, which were delicious and plentiful, two types of maritozzi, and two really good pinsa, both in terms of dough and toppings. The cocktails are truly well-made! The final feeling was satisfying, and I must compliment the team who created such a simple yet special place, where nothing is casual, but carefully crafted, in harmony with the simplicity of nature. The feeling is of being part of it, savoring and re-savoring those scents and flavors that the "loud" life of everyday life makes us miss out on. We will definitely be back next season. Thank you for the wonderful experience.
