06/07/2026: Found by chance via Maps, a welcoming and clean place. We had excellent first courses, fried food, and homemade desserts, all very good. The staff was young, attentive, and friendly.
21/06/2026: Good and friendly service, but the food and bill weren't impressive.
We visited this restaurant for dinner. The location is spartan, but the highlight of the evening was the service: the waiters were very kind, friendly, and extremely helpful. A truly pleasant welcome.
The only disappointing aspects, unfortunately, came from the kitchen:
Mixed seafood appetizer (cold and hot): Overall, just adequate. Among the cold options, we tried marinated anchovies, Catalan-style shrimp, tuna salad, and cod with chickpea hummus, all average. Among the hot options, we enjoyed good mussels, shrimp in kataifi pastry, and a decent octopus stew.
The fried calamari and baby octopus were decent. As for the grilled sea bass (made from locally caught fish), expectations were high: the meat was tender and delicate, but unfortunately, it fell short of expectations in terms of freshness. We've had better-quality and fresher fish on other occasions.
The absolute worst part of the dinner was the spaghetti with clams. More than a seafood first course, it tasted like spaghetti aglio e olio with clams added later. It wasn't cooked properly: the flavor of the fish and seafood was barely present, and the clams themselves lacked any distinctive flavor. It was a dish we didn't appreciate.
The real problem arose when it came to the bill. In my opinion, the prices of the individual dishes were disproportionate to the actual quality, flavor, and freshness of the food served, as well as the location. The quality-price ratio was decidedly unbalanced.
Despite the extremely courteous service, we would be unlikely to return to this restaurant, as the culinary experience simply didn't justify the expense.
