Top notch! Friendliness and professionalism first and foremost. All the professionalism a place like this deserves! The prices are high and the variety of food is inadequate (personal opinion). I agree that it's not an easy place to eat (low tables), but they need more options for snacks rather than dinner. Anyway, everything was good and beautiful in a charming setting, with extraordinary musical evenings. The real highlight was the "amaro" offered, but it wasn't a amaro; I invite you to try it. 😋👍🏻

The place is very nice and the atmosphere is pleasant, but we were disappointed with the way the bill was handled. At one point, we were served dessert without having ordered it or even being told we had to pay for it. Considering that we had been served complimentary water shortly before, we assumed the dessert was also on the house. Only at the end did we find it on the bill. We paid without any argument, but it would have been more appropriate to clearly communicate this before serving it.

Why did I give 4 stars to Food and Ambience? I'm not mean, I swear! 😜🙃 But once you've set up a place like this, I think guest comfort is paramount! The atmosphere is lovely, the naturalness is there, but the chairs are indescribably uncomfortable. I imagine different seating arrangements, to give guests different experiences, maybe deckchairs on one side, armchairs on another, hammocks, but please NO wooden IKEA chairs! 4 for the food because I think it can improve the quality... Nice for an aperitif, a dinner with friends, or even a first date! 🥰

I've never been here, but as an entrepreneur, I understand the cost of running a business in Rome, especially a seasonal one. People who don't want to spend €7 for a beer in a grove in Rome can easily buy one at the supermarket and happily drink it in their car or on the street. Unfortunately, Rome has enormous potential, but its people lack vision. Then let's not complain if the city is dead.

29/06/2026: After a walk around the lake we stopped to eat here, it's a bit strange to breathe inside as there's no window and so the air is a bit stuffy, the appetizer was very good, the pasta 2 carbonaras, 2 amatricianas and 1 with white truffle were very good but 10 kg of Peppe inside, and the carbonara without guanciale!!
06/06/2026: When I want something good and exclusive I always choose this restaurant
