A guarantee. Everything is delicious: the first courses, the pizzas, the fried mushrooms...the polenta! Definitely worth a try.

Personally, I don't understand the negative reviews (at least not just about the restaurant).
Delightful place, friendly staff, and immense portions.
The 3 tenets of a classic castle restaurant.
Of course, there are waiting times, as there are in any restaurant. Excellent evening, highly recommended.

Besides being a great place to spend a few hours away from the heat of Rome,
the food is also good.
Very generous portions and quick service.
I enjoyed an excellent plate of tagliolini with chanterelle mushrooms.
My wife had a trio of first courses, which weren't three tastings but could have been eaten by two.
And my daughter had
polenta with sausage.
This was also a very generous portion.
The only drawback is that we didn't have half bottles of white wine.
(They were out of stock...)
So I had to pay for a full one.
On Saturdays, the cellar isn't stocked.
I hope it wasn't a sales pitch.
But overall, highly recommended.

The location is perfect, on top of a hill, close to Rome, and the temperature is a few degrees Celsius lower.

Since 1957 above Rocca di Papa I have been there twice, great professionalism, impeccable and fast service, good food even if not amazing, portions as big as carter with the pasta two people can eat comfortably, excellent wine list

Beautiful view at rome the hotel is placed in pretty high mountains (around 765m above sea level) the food is delicious and room service is on another level
