11/08/2025: I ordered two takeout pizzas. I only lingered near the cash register, but those few minutes made me feel at home. The owners are genuine and courteous, busy but attentive. The prices are excellent, especially considering the quality of the ingredients used to make the pizzas and the attention to detail in selecting the dough. The pizza was good, not burnt, and crispy where it should be. If I return to Civitavecchia, I know where to dine.

05/11/2025: We recently went for lunch. Honestly, I had high expectations since some colleagues had mentioned it to me, and perhaps that's why I'm disappointed (spoiler alert). The menu is 80% fish and 20% meat, and the offerings include a good variety of appetizers, first courses, and second courses (and the usual average desserts). As mentioned, the buffalo mozzarella with prosciutto crudo (raw ham). The prosciutto was good quality, but the buffalo mozzarella (it was so small), like 90% of restaurants, is served cold... not even room temperature... The fish dishes actually looked nice, and those who ordered them confirmed the overall quality (although the fried foods had a bit too much oil leftover). Some friends and I ordered the fettuccine (with mushrooms and wild boar ragù). I presume to be able to judge the quality of a fettuccine, having eaten all kinds, especially homemade ones made by various people. Unfortunately, the ones at "I Quadri" lacked any of the fundamental characteristics of a good fettuccine. The pasta was extremely thick, which, combined with the al dente cooking, made it difficult (or impossible) to "wrap around a fork." It also lacked the roughness one expects from homemade pasta: the sauce literally ran off. Regarding the sauce, neither the mushroom nor the wild boar ones lived up to expectations, being rather liquid (disjointed) and lacking any distinct flavors. A real shame. The wine list is varied, but it's absurd that they don't include a red wine by the glass, only white. Coffee at the end: truly "a tear" in the cup. Yet we didn't ask for ristrettos... The service was courteous but not particularly precise: on several occasions we had to ask several times, attracting the attention of various waiters. In conclusion. An average experience that I could repeat only to taste the fish dishes which, in hindsight, seem to be the heart of this restaurant.

03/11/2025: The food at Il Quadri is good: excellent fried food, fish, risotto with scampi cream, excellent cocktails, excellent meat, desserts, and oysters. The price is fair, and the atmosphere is great, even on rainy days. Pure relaxation. The pizza and bar are also excellent.

12/09/2025: Recommended for its genuine quality, the unbeatable chocolate tiramisu, excellent meat, the paccheri with sea bream and fabulous cherry tomatoes as a first course

11/10/2025: Sesta in Albano is a guarantee for those who want to treat themselves well from breakfast to evening aperitif. The food is excellent, ranging from sushi to pinsa to fried calamari, served with excellent cocktails also at affordable prices. They also have ice cream and pastries...mignon...catwalks and cakes...a must-see in short...lucky those who live in Albano, I would go there every day!!!!

22/10/2025: I really liked this place — the food was delicious and well-prepared. The shrimp pasta was just perfect: creamy sauce, fresh shrimp, and the pasta cooked to perfection. Cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. I also counted the calories using the service shown in the photo attached to my review. It turned out to be super convenient and fast! Now I totally recommend everyone to try using this calorie tracking service — it makes it so easy to monitor your diet and stay on track.

21/10/2025: Very nice food and location. The revelation was the Jewish style artichoke. Solid service and would recommend.

04/11/2025: Normal service. Prices are high compared to the average for bars in the area. A simple coffee costs 1.50 euros, which seems really excessive. It's not like we were in the center of Rome. For that price, you can get a cappuccino with lactose-free milk. They don't always give you a receipt when paying in cash. UPDATE POST OWNER'S RESPONSE: I'M SORRY, BUT I DIDN'T USE ANY TABLE SERVICE. I PAYED FOR THE COFFEE RIGHT AWAY AT THE CASH REGISTER. THE GUY BEHIND THE CASH REGISTER ASKING ME IF I WANT IT SERVED, AND I ANSWERED "NO THANKS." THE COFFEE WAS ALSO BURNED. ZERO STARS FOR EVERYTHING!

27/10/2025: I've been going to Barrique with my family for years. The food is always good. The menu features fixed dishes, but other dishes vary from time to time. The staff is always friendly.

10/09/2025: I know this place and have been going there for years. The cones are delicious. The ice cream flavors are varied and delicious. The professionalism, courtesy, and friendliness of the staff are beyond compare.

17/08/2025: I went to Gelati e Mozzarella to get a 3-flavor ice cream cone. I give it 5 stars because the flavors were excellent and the girl who served me stacked the flavors on top of each other. They were also generous, you can see she's good, it's worth the money.

04/09/2025: I discovered Pasticceria Matrem in Piazza Bologna and was thrilled! A modern and welcoming place, perfect for a sweet break. The panciol was truly a surprise: soft, delicate, and exceptionally flavorful, one of the best I've ever had. The variety of sweet and leavened pastries is also excellent, all prepared with great care. The friendly and attentive staff helps make the experience even more enjoyable. A must-see for anyone seeking quality and deliciousness in Rome. 🍩☕

03/09/2025: A MUST-try if you're in Rome. These pangoccioli are simply too good to eat just one. Not to mention the filling, I recommend the pistachio flavor. For the quality, the prices are incredibly low. We'll definitely be back.

18/09/2025: We've strolled to the nearby Macchia Grande several times, meaning to stop and try this shop's products. Let's start with the positives: The staff: friendly, they served us politely but perhaps with little training, as the ladies didn't seem to have a thorough understanding of the products on sale. The Products: Bread and crunchy pizza: good, actually very good, even if there wasn't much stock, perhaps also due to the fact that it was Saturday afternoon and around 5 PM... Desserts: (and here's another chapter!) I found the milk donuts good, as were the "brutti ma buoni" (ugly but good) ones. A different story is the tozzetti, which aren't bad, but since they're "soft," the staff should have first told us so, and then NOT put them (800g) in a paper bag... When we got home, they were all broken, shattered, and mixed together in a "black and white" mix. A tray would have easily avoided this. Now let's talk about what's passed off as "grandma's cake": a whipped shortcrust pastry filled with cream—or rather, a cream mix WITHOUT eggs, see the ingredients to believe it—with pine nuts scattered on top, which CANNOT be called that!!! Grandma wouldn't be at all. Happy 🤣. Furthermore, the supposed cream is practically nonexistent and tasteless. A total failure.... I'm sorry! (This is the reason for the two stars given to the food) The place: clean and well-kept, as befits any normal grocery store. Ultimately, this business, in my opinion, needs to fix a few things in terms of preparation and service... Because it undoubtedly deserves a more positive review; it has all the right qualities... It really doesn't take much!!!

22/07/2025: L'endroit idéal pour commencer la journée ! les locaux boivent leur café sur le dessus de la vitrine qui leur sert de comptoir. Les touristes s'installent dehors sur 2 terrasses car la pâtisserie fait un angle de rue. Propreté irréprochable, grand choix de pâtisseries, de viennoiseries délicieuses. J'ai testé un "maritozzo panna" pour 4 euros, une espèce de brioche énorme fourrée chantilly. Je n'ai jamais vu de pâtissier exposer en vitrine ses propres bâtonnets de glace maison ! Les cafés, capuccino, etc tournent autour de 3 euros, carte avec prix et addition sans mauvaise surprise. Bon accueil.

12/10/2025: The restaurant has a good atmosphere with a Thai feel. The food prices and quantities are okay, and the taste of the food is very Thai. If you want it spicy, you can order your desired level of spiciness. It was delicious, but the salad was a bit too sweet.
