Delicious food, highlighting the artichokes, a dish with three different recipes, they prepare them very delicious

I have been coming here for years now. The artichokes are next level, to die for!! Incredible spot, lovely waiters and the owner is awesome. A true gem .

We got different local dishes, which were super delicious. We sat outside and enjoyed the Italian atmosphere.

My stars come from no complaints. Maybe it's not a "5 star" or even "4 star" joint but it meets all the points. We had an artichoke appetizer, perfectly prepared. Bypassed the first but seconds didn't disappoint with lamb and ossobucca. Well cooked and nicely flavored. We got the mixed desserts which were so enjoyable. Here's the question: The place is in the Roman Jewish ghetto but it's filled with arab workers (Moroccans). The owner, the servers, even the chefs. So while it didn't disappoint, it might leave some to question the authenticity of the flavors. Anyway... Just our review. We loved it and have eaten here twice.

Excellent lunch outside the restaurant welcomed by Shariff, the charming and very friendly head waiter who recommended us to start with a crunchy and tasty Giudia artichoke accompanied by a delicious piece of fried cod and an oil and rosemary focaccia, followed by a delicious first course tonnarello cheese and pepper with artichokes, a generous portion divided into two and a glass of white wine. I highly recommend it for the goodness of the food and the friendliness of the staff who are very attentive to customers.

Let me start by saying that I am traveling alone so I have lunch and dinner alone... I immediately felt at home, excellent food, quick service and friendly staff starting from the owner, artichokes in many dishes, next time I will try the rest... thanks

Abbiamo mangiato bene: ottimi sia gli antipasti (fritto misto vegetale e tris della casa) sia i secondi (spigola alla griglia e baccalà alla romana-da segnalare le patate in dietro di cottura). Buono anche il dolce (tris orientale). Unica nota stonata: abbiamo dovuto chiedere che venisse applicato lo sconto del 50%. Dimenticanza?

Molto buono l'antipasto con carciofo alla giudia, carciofi fritti e carpaccio di carciofo, ottimo anche l'abbacchio scottadito, mentre la coda alla vaccinara andava cotta un po' di più. La cicoria aveva poco sapore, mentre il galletto alla diavola molto buono. Servizio ottimo

Scelto per caso in un giorno "festivo" (sabato) di gran confusione turistica. Trovato posto per 5 senza problemi. Il locale si sviluppa longitudinalmente con diversi spazi, cortili, giardino finale in atmosfera romana con tanto di "Bocca della Verità" (copia). Cucina ebraica. Prendiamo tonnarelli cacio e pepe con cicoria, eccellenti, zuppa di ceci e baccalà, buona e saporita, saltimbocca alla romana, abbacchio scottadito, di ottima fattura e qualità. Immancabili carciofi alla giudìa per chiudere, goduriosi. Non ci siamo fatti mancare una crostata di ricotta e visciole e una crema catalana, entrambi i dolci più che buoni. Vino rigorosamente della casa (quello à la carte è carissimo). Prezzi nella media. Staff cortesissimo. Un pranzo davvero gradevole e impensabile con così grande folla. Bravi!
