14/12/2025: We came in September 2025 with my friend who is gluten intolerant. The restaurant is very well located, just steps from the Pantheon but in a side street, making it less busy and much quieter.
We thoroughly enjoyed our linguine with clams. We will gladly return to the restaurant on our next trip to Rome 🤩
12/12/2025: Returned for the second time ... A must when we come to Rome ... Excellent food and excellent service, plus everything is excellent gluten-free

14/12/2025: Good Roman cuisine, excellent service, a slightly chic, rustic, old-fashioned Roman atmosphere, but still beautiful.
A little too far from the road, but perhaps that's precisely why it's convenient.
If you're in the area, definitely try it.
12/12/2025: Two incredibly salty carbonaras that we barely touched. The stuffed pepper was very salty, and the coppa was overly flavorful (we don't know how they were seasoned, because the seasoning is a secret and he wouldn't tell us). We didn't know if there might have been anything that would have caused an allergy.
The owner and the restaurant manager were truly unfriendly and unprofessional.

08/11/2025: I bought some porchetta here and was a little disappointed: it was dry and stringy (porchetta should melt in your mouth), and my husband almost lost a tooth because of a bone (normally, there shouldn't be one).
Anyway, I'm giving it 3 stars because the staff is really kind.
18/10/2025: I often go there with my wife to buy excellent meat and the staff is very kind and smiling. It is a beautiful place, very well stocked.

Delicious, hearty dishes, revisited with imagination while respecting traditional flavors, explode in your mouth and leave you feeling so happy! But above all, delicious and served with a smile in a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. You come here as friends, not customers...even if you sit at the tables outside.

30/11/2025: We discovered Osteria La Scaletta just a few weeks ago and immediately fell in love! Since then, it's officially become one of our favorite places to return to whenever we can. The welcome is fantastic: the staff are always incredibly kind, smiling, and make you feel at home. The dishes are plentiful and delicious. We tried appetizers, first courses, second courses, and desserts and were beyond satisfied! We were there for lunch today and even ordered dinner to take home: meatballs, lamb, and broccoli... 10 out of 10, even reheated. Congratulations to everyone!

25/10/2025: Finally a super seafood restaurant, how can I recommend a specific dish when anything you order is divine, the staff is very kind, the prices are reasonable and the portions are super generous, and I recommend you also take a look inside the restaurant to admire the tables and paintings made by an artist who is no longer here. I give it a full 10, since I discovered it I never leave it. My favorite dishes are tonnarelli, mussels and pecorino cheese, and beans, mussels and pecorino cheese, but the fried food is exceptional.

16/12/2025: We returned to Pizzicaroli and can only confirm what I've said before: everything was delicious and the staff was super kind and friendly. Special praise goes to the young woman serving tables. The bruschetta and cured meats and cheeses were excellent! The menu was extensive and varied, and the portions were more than adequate. I found the prices to be fair, especially considering the area. The place is very small (though very cute inside), so it's best to go off-peak to avoid the line. Highly recommended!
14/12/2025: Everything was delicious and the environment very pleasant, but in our basket we found a seemingly human hair, and when we mentioned it to the waiter, he wanted to convince us that it was from the wild boar hanging above!

13/11/2025: The restaurant is very nice and the waiters are friendly. The food is delicious, both Chinese and Japanese. The only flaw is the dessert menu, which isn't very extensive. Otherwise, I had a great time! I recommend it.
03/11/2025: Unfortunately, the first time we went, we had a bad experience. We booked a table for 8:30 PM, but were able to sit at 9:10 PM. After the first courses arrived, we had a half-hour wait for the rest. The portions were small, and the prices were moderately high. One vegetarian dish arrived with pieces of meat. I'm sorry, but we won't be returning.
