Wonderful place and the food is divine, everything from bruschetta to pasta alla guancia... excellent and attentive service... great and good girls...

We visited La Scaletta in Sacrofano and were very satisfied. The place is welcoming, with a relaxed atmosphere and friendly, family-like service. For starters, a generous platter: delicious prosciutto crudo, bruschetta, all fresh and flavorful. Side dishes: pan-fried mushrooms and grilled mushrooms, beautifully seasoned. Tagliatelle with porcini mushroom ragù: fresh egg pasta, truly delicious, fragrant, and flavorful porcini mushroom ragù. An excellent first course. Main course: beef cheek, tender and flavorful, served with fluffy mashed potatoes and a rich sauce. The meat was incredibly tender and perfectly cooked. Generous portions, quality ingredients, and authentic, traditional flavors. Fair prices for what you get. Highly recommended for anyone looking to eat well in the Sacrofano area. We'll be back!

The restaurant is very welcoming and located in a charming setting. A word of advice: reservations are a must. Parking requires a drive outside the village, but a pleasant 5-10 minute walk will easily get you there. What we liked: The atmosphere and service: The place is truly charming and well-kept. Special praise goes to the waitresses: excellent, friendly, and super helpful, they made us feel at ease right away. The menu: Typical and very varied. We started with excellent mixed bruschetta. Second courses and desserts: The pork cheek with mashed potatoes was exceptional, so tender (you could cut it with a breadstick!) and flavorful. The desserts also won us over: the tart was excellent, and the strawberries with mascarpone cream were delicious. What could be improved: First courses: We tried two types of pasta. The venison ragù was good, but the game flavor was somewhat overpowered by the overly strong soffritto (celery, carrot, and onion). ​The bill and the "bread issue": The final price is slightly above the local average. The only downside was finding out that bread is charged separately (€2 per portion) in addition to the cover charge. Having brought it twice, we found it added to our bill. It's an unusual choice that we weren't expecting and that clashes a bit with the rest of the experience. ​In summary: Quality cuisine and fantastic staff, but be careful with the details on the bill, which can be a bit excessive.

A simple place with excellent quality local products. Excellent service, very helpful, friendly, and welcoming. Excellent ingredients, including organic wines. Off-menu seasonal dishes and signature dishes. Definitely worth a try.

I arrived by chance with my family and found an exceptional restaurant... The meat was top-notch, and the appetizers included raw meat, porcini mushrooms, and superb artichokes. My wife had an extraordinary tagliolini with asparagus and guanciale. At the end, I complimented the chef because everything was delicious.

Truly excellent; the bruschetta and fettuccine with Chianina beef ragù were excellent; the service was very fast and the staff were very friendly.

The tagliatelle with artichokes and bacon are sensational!
