This evening I went to eat in this restaurant where we were welcomed by a very nice and welcoming gentleman who guided us in choosing the food to eat. He also accompanied us in the choice of after dinner, recommending a very fragrant and digestive tea with various flavors. And finally a bitter. I have to be honest I ate really, really well. First time I'm going to eat Ethiopian cuisine and it was a nice discovery because I ate really very well. Very simple but tasty cuisine. Very kind owner. It felt like going to my uncle's house. Abundant dishes. usually wherever I go I eat a lot but the plate that brings mixed meat with vegetables and piadina fills you up easily. Definitely worth trying

Il proprietario Giovanni mi ha guidato in questa prima esperienza di cucina etiope spiegando piatti e modalità e consigliando cosa provare. Ho iniziato col couscus (2.5€) e le sambusa (sia al manzo che alle lenticchie, entrambe buonissime, 2.5€ l'una). Ottimo anche il piatto misto Alicha da 34€ per 2 persone è un insieme di stufati di carne, di legumi e di verdure su un letto di injera, una specie di piadina molto lievitata. Tra i vari stufati nel piatto misto, mi sono piaciuti un sacco quello di ceci, quelli di carne con curcuma e soprattutto lo Zighinì, leggermente piccante. L'esperienza è un crescendo, perché arrivando ai dolci ho apprezzato ancora di più l'abilità dell'eccellente cuoca, la moglie del signor Giovanni: la Beklaba di sesamo e miele (5€) e l'Halawa di sesamo e pistacchi (5€) sono strepitose, ho dovuto bissare. Alla buona cucina e alla disponibilità si aggiunge il carattere istrionico e la gentilezza nel fornire spiegazioni, anche storiche, del signor Giovanni, per rendere la serata speciale.

Ingolosito dalle ottime recensioni abbiamo deciso di provare questo ristorante Etiope Aspettative alte viste leggendo i commenti entriamo in questo ristorante che all'apparenza nulla di che,molto vecchio ma io voglio mangiare! Antipasto di cous cous molto minimal con un raviolo fatto a mano fritto con dentro carne macinata molto buona,5 euro si può fare,4 ravioli sempre fatti in casa e fritti con le lenticchie 10 euro ,un po' troppo ma va bene Per finire un piatto unico per 3 persone con il loro diciamo pane molto spugnoso che fa da base nel piatto con lenticchie ,zucca e patate, broccoletti affogati,3 diversi tipi di carne condite di cui una piccante per la bellezza di 51 euro..... ASSURDO che per due persone era anche poco ! Che dire , consigliato a chi mangia poco e spende tanto Non ci ritornerei Esperienza negativa
