14/12/2025: A place for lunch. Cramped. Standard Roman service, calm and friendly. The food...not up to par. The salads are probably good, but if you're going for the entrees, it's not up to par. First of all, they don't make gricia, which is a serious problem for a restaurant in Trastevere. If I'd switched to the carbonara, I would have thrown it at the chef... it was loose, runny, and tasteless... an affront to Roman cuisine. There were a lot of us, and no one liked it. Prices are high for the quality. Only go there if you're on a diet...

07/12/2025: Disappointing considering the 4.5/5 Google rating. The food tasted like something I could have made at home: a bland risotto (we added half a jar of Parmesan to give it some flavor), and the pasta with pesto was just okay (overcooked and tasted like supermarket pesto). We liked the lasagna a bit better, and the house white wine was good. It's similar to a Vinho Verde, like the ones they make in Portugal. The service was fine; there weren't many customers.

19/10/2025: There's Love and Passion I was invited to this place by a friend who knows the chef. The appetizer was a delicious breaded parmigiana skewer, an onion ring, and an eggplant meatball with a side of hummus. The first course was polenta with sparerib sauce, and spareribs and sausages inside were enviable! The welcome was top-notch! I immediately felt at ease and pampered. Since all the dishes are freshly made and not pre-cooked or prepared in advance, considering the place was full both inside and outside at the few tables on a small balcony overlooking Rome, we waited a bit before sampling these lovingly prepared and meticulously served dishes. The place, located in a narrow alley in the historic center, is simple, with wooden tables and warm-colored walls. It's welcoming and characterized by the presence of 27 ceramic tureens; I think it retains its original appearance, with its high ceiling and thick walls. The recommended wine is pleasant on the palate, and I also recommend making a reservation to access the restaurant for both lunch and dinner: you won't regret it!

29/09/2025: Excellent appetizer of cured meats and cheeses, and a remarkable fillet steak with mustard sauce. Not to mention the owner's friendliness. I'd say everything was very good!

21/10/2025: I often get quick snacks, ice cream, and pastries at this café, and everything is delicious and fresh. There's a wide selection of both savory and sweet treats, and the location is also very welcoming! Highly recommended!

21/09/2025: You can't get better, more beautiful cakes!!! We can't help but end our events with this place's fantastic cakes because they're good for the heart and the palate! Stefania's creations are marvelous, captivating even the most discerning and demanding palates, not to mention the always impeccable decorations!!! Highly recommended, you won't regret it 😍

23/10/2025: Very nice pizzeria, comfortable and casual, yet at the same time professional. Professional and excellent food. All served by highly trained, friendly, and pleasant staff. Everything was excellent. We had a varied selection of appetizers and the pizza was delicious. I really appreciated the appropriate amount of time between courses. The place is clean. The atmosphere is intimate and super comfortable. The menu offers a wide selection of pizzas. Vegetarians are also welcome. Excellent wine selection. Highly recommended. I'm here with my family and we had a great time.

17/11/2025: The place isn't huge, but it's welcoming and cute, with young, dynamic staff. The pizza, appetizers, and desserts are all very good, especially the gnocchi with Nutella. The only downside: the place can be a bit noisy when it's busy. Go try their pizza, you won't regret it. I forgot, make a reservation, otherwise you might not get a seat.

20/10/2025: Brought here by a friend of mine who's a big fan of Japan, I must say I was truly amazed: the quality of the food, the service, and the kindness of Paola—the owner and pastry chef—made it a truly wonderful evening, one worth repeating. Highly recommended. P.S. Special mention to Paola's Mont Blanc, absolutely amazing!

19/10/2025: I can only give 5 stars to everything, from the quality of the products to the kindness of the staff. A little gem in Rome, definitely one of my new go-to places in the city for Japanese cuisine.

15/11/2025: We celebrated a birthday dinner at this restaurant, and it truly felt like stepping into a beautiful Italian film. We sat outside, surrounded by the most charming atmosphere. The food was outstanding — I especially loved the focaccia, made with dough that had been rising for 72 hours. A huge thank you to Elena, our wonderful server from Ukraine, who made the evening warm, fun, and unforgettable.

She not only helped me choose, but also recommended an excellent sparkling wine, a glass of beer, and an incredibly delicious focaccia—everything was perfect. Such attention, care, and professionalism are rare. The best service I've ever received in Italy! 💫

09/11/2025: The blonde saleswoman with glasses was very unfriendly and rude, with poor manners and gestures, rushing you and not letting you choose or think about which pastry you wanted. She was constantly huffing and puffing, unmotivated and angry. Overall, a very unpleasant experience. I don't usually leave negative reviews, but in this case, I had no other choice.

17/12/2025: This is a generous four star rating. Our hotel nearby recommended Vladimiro, and we expected fine dining based on the description provided to us. Unfortunately, while a pleasant location, our expectations were not met and we ended up being disappointed. I would have otherwise skipped this establishment had I known and not made a reservation in advance; having felt obligated to stay once we were shown to our table and being immediately served with their gratis house bruschetta. The food was okay, but not delicious, relatively uninspired, and completely unseasoned, granted they provide both a salt and a pepper grinder on the table. The service was slow but thankfully the staff was extremely courteous. From what we could tell, at least during dinner service, the patrons were mostly tourists and local business people, attorneys, etc.. Overall the restaurant was just not very good, in my humble opinion. It seems that the restaurant is a "safe choice", with a sprawling menu, and willingness to accommodate substitutions or omission, which is welcome by many and relatively uncommon in Italy, but my overall impression was that this is a relatively mediocre traditional Roman restaurant. I wish I had trusted my instincts and gone elsewhere for a special meal on our last full night in Rome. But, alas, most Americans seem not to know the difference and think this place is great (we spoke to other American tourists who had been here multiple nights in a row and loved it). Absolutely not worth the visit if you're looking for high Italian cuisine. Only the courtesy of the staff saves this place. Looking for fine dinning? Skip Vladimiro. It's a shame too, because the food looked vibrant and well executed, but alas it was soulless and lacking flavor or seasoning; very possibly a compromise to accommodate the many tourist patrons. For nearly similar and even lower prices, we had infinitely better food elsewhere at other, more traditional local restaurants in Rome. We paid over 100 euros for carpaccio, which actually turned out to be a form of marinated bresaola completely contrary to our expectations, as well as tortellini, veal scallopini (particularly disappointing), and lamb chops (the lamb was actually quite good, albeit unseasoned), in addition to a reasonable bottle of wine. This restaurant is just okay, and not the best by any measure. But, I understand why certain people find it enjoyable and charming. My standards are likely just a bit too high and I don't mean to offend. If you intend to only stay in the neighborhood or within a few blocks of a nearby hotel, I suppose this is a good choice for you.

12/12/2025: We went because it seemed like something typical, more home-style. Nothing like that. The salad was tasteless; the tomatoes were just tomatoes because you could see them. The lasagna was light, and the spaghetti was good. The service was good, with young staff, quite young for their age, I suppose. The atmosphere was just okay. It's the only place in Rome, where I spent a week, that charged me for service (4 euros). If you want, I can go ahead and serve myself. I usually leave a tip, around 5 euros, especially if the staff is young. But here, I didn't bother. And I've been to spectacular places, in squares, not in an alley, hahaha. And the service charge was included in the price. I don't recommend it if you're a foreigner.

09/12/2025: An Italian restaurant that stands out for its authentic, home-style Roman cuisine. The dishes are bursting with flavor, made with fresh ingredients and that traditional touch that transports you straight to Rome. What's more, the service is unbeatable: the waitress is incredibly friendly, approachable, and always smiling, making the experience even more enjoyable. A highly recommended place to enjoy authentic Italian food and excellent service. We tried the pizza, cannelloni, and lasagna, and everything was excellent.

13/11/2025: On the first evening of our Roman holiday, we arrived at Giardino d'Abruzzo, recommended by the manager of the B&B where we were staying. We didn't have any particular expectations, but instead... simple, good food, with a wide range of options. The first night we tried the fish, which was delicious; the next night the pizza, Roman-style—thin, crispy, and easily digestible; tonight's special was the artichoke and clams. Prices were absolutely reasonable, the wait staff were extremely kind and efficient, and the owner was always attentive. Last night, they opened a second room just for us, so we dined undisturbed and enjoyed Sinner's tennis court. Not to mention the crucial parking service, without which you'd be tempted to go further because there's no place like that in that area. We feel at home now. Thank you so much to all the staff!

30/11/2025: My husband and I ate here for lunch today for the first time. We'd like to reiterate our compliments to these young, professional, and very kind people. The food was excellent, the value was excellent, and the service was impeccable. Thank you so much, we spent two relaxing hours in a wonderful atmosphere. We'll be back soon.
