Definitely one of best in dining experience in Rome! EVERYONE is SUPER nice here ! I like the smiles on those friendly faces! I see delightful souls in them! The food is awesome too ! We literally finished everything on table and kids are satisfying as well. 100% positive experiences and hands down a place must go!

While passing through Rome, I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant and was completely satisfied. I chose the cacio e pepe with lime and scampi: a dish with exceptional flavor, perfectly balanced, and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The lime added a pleasant freshness, while the scampi were excellent and enhanced the recipe without overshadowing its tradition. Impeccable service, friendly staff, and a very welcoming atmosphere. A truly excellent experience that I recommend without hesitation!

Delicious food, generous portions. Excellent value for money. The place is very busy, but you can eat in peace. The waitresses are a strong point: they're very fast and knowledgeable. We had dinner two nights in a row because everything was delicious! Kudos to the staff, and especially to the very kind and welcoming owner. We'll definitely be back.

We arrived just before 7pm on a Tues to this restaurant. Server was very kind and gave great recommendations. We just arrived in Italy and were completely jet lagged. Our server was very accommodating with speaking English as we spoke very little Italian. Our pasta carbonara was perfect. It jas a rich taste that blended all ingredients perfectly! Bruschetta was perfect appetizer and has a fresh appearance and taste. Would highly recommend this place if you are looking for authentic Italian cuisine!!!

11/07/2026: ​ Stepping inside feels like a throwback in time—the interior features classic wood-paneled walls, simple red chairs, and traditional checkered tablecloths that give it a very casual, family-run neighborhood vibe ​The menu focuses heavily on classic, hearty Roman pasta dishes, and they definitely do not skimp on portion sizes or flavor: The Carbonara and Amatriciana (served with perfectly al dente bombolotti pasta) were rich, savory, and loaded with crispy guanciale and plenty of pecorino cheese. ​The absolute highlight of the meal was the Tonnarelli al cacio e pepe con burrata pugliese. It is a brilliant, indulgent twist on the classic—the creaminess of the giant, fresh burrata on top perfectly balances the sharp black pepper and salty pecorino kick of the pasta ​The service is straightforward, no-nonsense, and fast. It is a very casual "what you see is what you get" kind of place. Prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality and portion sizes you receive. ​Why 4 stars instead of 5? The atmosphere is extremely rustic and a bit dated, which might not be everyone's cup of tea if you are looking for a romantic or modern ambiance. Also, seating can feel a little cramped when it gets busy. ​Overall, if your priority is delicious, authentic Roman pasta at an honest price, this historic spot is highly recommended!
