Excellent experience. The place is welcoming, understated, and elegant. We ate and drank well, with very efficient service. The maître d', Sergio, is kind and helpful. The reasonable price completes the experience.

There's Love and Passion I was invited to this place by a friend who knows the chef. The appetizer was a delicious breaded parmigiana skewer, an onion ring, and an eggplant meatball with a side of hummus. The first course was polenta with sparerib sauce, and spareribs and sausages inside were enviable! The welcome was top-notch! I immediately felt at ease and pampered. Since all the dishes are freshly made and not pre-cooked or prepared in advance, considering the place was full both inside and outside at the few tables on a small balcony overlooking Rome, we waited a bit before sampling these lovingly prepared and meticulously served dishes. The place, located in a narrow alley in the historic center, is simple, with wooden tables and warm-colored walls. It's welcoming and characterized by the presence of 27 ceramic tureens; I think it retains its original appearance, with its high ceiling and thick walls. The recommended wine is pleasant on the palate, and I also recommend making a reservation to access the restaurant for both lunch and dinner: you won't regret it!
