02/04/2026: We were looking for a late night restaurant before departing Rome the next morning and stumbled upon La Locanda de Nonna. Excellent service, some of the best food we had in Rome, and perfect for a late night meal.

28/03/2026: So thrilled we found this fantastic restaurant. Came here for lunch and then the next day for dinner. Brilliant service, cosy atmosphere and got to try famous Tonnarelli cacio e pepe, and it lived up to my dreams 🤩. The service and welcoming nature of Andrea and the other staff was 💯. Also got to dine with men of the cloth! Excellent wine list and knowledge as well.

The staff is exquisite and welcoming. Highly recommended.

16/03/2026: We booked at the last minute, choosing based on proximity to our location and also reading the reviews, and luckily there were still seats available. The food was excellent and different; I'd never had the truly delicious apple fritters. The fried appetizers were crispy and not soaked in oil, and everything else was delicious. The puff pastry casket with cavolo nero and speck was delicate yet delicious. Everything from the appetizer to the dessert was truly delicious. The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff were friendly. We'll definitely be back.

13/04/2026: A cutting-edge osteria with interesting dishes. Some things stood out to me, such as the salmon-based homage to Pollock and the ravioli with octopus amatriciana, both delicious! Overall, the most popular dishes were the two first courses and the appetizers. The wine selection, which the chef offered us, was also very good.

03/01/2026: For our first dinner of the day in the area, last Sunday we dined at Ciccio alla Capannaccia, a charming country trattoria located near Acquapendente and winner of an episode of Alessandro Borghese's "4 Ristoranti" in 2016. It offers a wide-ranging menu of local cuisine (including several off-menu dishes) using top-quality ingredients. The restaurant is welcoming and the service is very friendly, with the owner, Ciccio, being truly charming. After choosing our wine, an excellent Sangovese Thybris 2023 from Castello di Corbara, we began with pici carbonara with black truffle and pici "alla Ciccio" (mushrooms, sausage, wild fennel, and pecorino cheese), both delicious. We then shared a tender Mangalica pork fillet with baked potatoes. Finally, desserts included a mascarpone cream with almond brittle and a Nutella panna cotta. A water, two coffees, and two liqueurs were kindly offered, bringing the final bill to €96 for two, which is extremely reasonable. Highly recommended, and we can't wait to return!

02/01/2026: Ristorante da Ciccio in La Capannaccia is a place you absolutely must try. The welcome is incredible: it feels like family here. The menu is meticulously explained, both in detail and in its preparation. All the dishes are enticing, but in the end, unfortunately, you have to make a choice. The appetizer is delicious, the fried dishes and the trio of artichokes are amazing. The pizza, leavened for 48 hours, is a true delight for the palate. The first courses are excellent, but the meat dishes, prepared with culinary expertise, are especially worth trying. Here, you should relax and let yourself be guided in choosing quality products masterfully prepared. You don't come to Da Ciccio for the location or just to eat, but to be pampered and enjoy a pleasant and unforgettable experience. It's been 10 years since he won on Alessandro Borghese's show, but Ciccio's cuisine has steadily improved over the years and today it is considered a true Italian excellence to be enjoyed and preserved. Bravo, Ciccio, you're a genius!

31/03/2026: We went last Saturday with a couple of friends, whom they already knew. Oh my, so much! The pinsa was delicious... not to mention the supplì and other variations. Very cute and colorful place! Fast service. We went on Saturday at 7:30 PM and left the table around 9 PM!

21/03/2026: I've always loved this pizzeria, but after not going for a while, I've noticed a decline in quality. I found it extremely rubbery, a bit bland. Even the fried foods have gone downhill (especially considering the high prices, around €4). I don't know, but I don't think I'll go back. It's a shame.

07/02/2026: Yesterday we celebrated my son's graduation here; the setting and location were stunning, the food excellent, and the staff incredibly attentive and helpful. Absolutely top-notch, highly recommended.
