02/04/2026: A truly wonderful Italian experience. There's no table service, but that's not a problem given the setting, the atmosphere, and the quality of the food. We ordered the gourmet mixed platter at €18 per person and it was delicious! Excellent value for money. I highly recommend it.

14/03/2026: The ambiance, with its relaxed atmosphere perfect for conversation, was lovely. The food was excellent, and our waiter was fantastic. We went there on our first evening in Rome, and it certainly won't be our last. We'd love to come back!

12/03/2026: My wife and I went there twice while in Rome. Normally we like to try different places every night but we loved it so much we had to go back again. They had a great mushroom pasta special, and excellent wine. The food was locally sourced and out of this world. Despite being so close to the Colosseum it wasn’t one of those more touristy restaurants. Our server, who was the owner gave us prosecco the second night. He was an amazing gentleman. There are lots of good places to eat in Rome and Italy as a whole, but this was and continues to be one of our favorite. If you don’t know, you don’t have to tip in Italy. We still tipped these guys, it was so awesome.

16/02/2026: My boyfriend and I went to Casale delle Streghe for Valentine's Day. All I can say is: it's a wonderful place, with a welcoming atmosphere and meticulous attention to detail. The food is truly delicious, and the service is kind and courteous. We'll definitely be back, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special evening away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

04/04/2026: Choosing this place to eat was a great decision; we really enjoyed it. The restaurants in the surrounding area were very pushy and insistent on getting in to eat, which we didn't like at all. However, here, it was the complete opposite. Right in Piazza del Fiore, with the morning market. The mozzarella with tomato appetizer was the only thing that wasn't very flavorful. The carbonara was delicious; it had been a long time since I'd had such a good one! The fettuccine with artichokes was also very good, and the fettuccine with mushrooms and peas was good, but I wasn't thrilled with the tomato. (Personal opinion) The house wine was good, and the bread was free twice! It was amazing, especially the oven-toasted bread. For dessert, the mascarpone was delicious, and the coffees were too. They gave us a free promotional bib so we wouldn't get messy. Highly recommended. The only thing I found outrageous was the €3 cover charge.

28/03/2026: A delightful surprise in the central Campo de' Fiori. Typical local cuisine with generous, carefully prepared dishes that are truly excellent. The tripe and Roman-style artichokes are simply breathtaking. Competitively priced for the excellent quality. The owner is incredibly friendly. Highly recommended.

01/12/2025: Dinner on Saturday for a birthday. We arrived at 8:15, and the first course, a Eurospin-style focaccia reheated in the microwave, arrived after almost an hour. For the tapas, we had to wait a good half hour. Not even an explanation or an apology. A bottle of water was €4. We won't be returning.

19/03/2026: Delicious Italian food. Prepared and served with care. The staff is very attentive. When you've had enough of pizzas and pushy people practically dragging you into the restaurant, go eat here. It is wise to make a reservation, though.

02/04/2026: This small, family-run restaurant has a quiet atmosphere (we appreciated the background music!) and the owners are extremely kind and attentive. We were completely satisfied with every course, from the raw ham to the pasta dishes, to the artichoke alla giudia (Jewish-style artichokes), all excellent. I personally feel like giving a special mention to the orange tozzetti made by the owner! Just a small suggestion: please update the illuminated sign on the pole outside; it's faded and doesn't invite you in, which is a shame! We'll be back!

17/03/2026: Ate here a few times this year. It’s been a consistently good source of Bibimbap for me. Owner couple is friendly, multilingual and above all very hard working to serve fresh homecooked-style korean food. Price value for the area is good. When they reopen hopefully soon, I will be back.
