11/12/2025: After arriving at our apartment, we looked for a typical Italian restaurant where Romans themselves eat. This restaurant truly delivered. We both ordered pizza, which was exactly what you'd expect your first pizza in Rome to be! The service was very attentive! When a drink was knocked over, we were immediately given a new one on the house. Highly recommended for a tasty bite!

Charlie was the most professional and friendly waitress in all of Rome. After four days since our first visit to Pepo, we went back again. Fantastic.

11/11/2025: The perfect place to enjoy a relaxing moment away from the hustle and bustle. A charming restaurant, the location is beautiful, with a large garden overlooking the lake.
The appetizers were truly excellent, the first courses were also plentiful, and the staff was very kind and helpful. The price includes an appetizer, first course, dessert, wine, water, and coffee.
The private parking lot isn't very large; we recommend arriving early to park inside; we parked on the street. We'll definitely be back! 👏🏻

18/08/2025: We booked this place for dinner... a pleasant surprise, but appearances are deceiving! It looks like a simple bar for breakfast, aperitifs, etc., but it's actually a fully-equipped pizzeria! The dishes are tasty, unique, and truly delicious! Compliments! Very friendly and helpful staff!
18/08/2025: I came holidays few days and enter to this small lovely place, i had absolutely no expectations, but please who has this Lady Orthy, she made me feel special, what ever she suggested I agreed, and everything was absolutely perfect, I never finish my plate, but she has this charm and confidence to make feel the food before you try it. Thank you for the place, the beautiful lady, and the beautiful gentlman in the bar, they work as a beautiful lovinv team. iam impressed

29/09/2025: A magical place at the foot of Mount Gennaro: spend a relaxing evening enjoying delicious dishes in a friendly and informal atmosphere. Michela's kindness and attentiveness are appreciated, never intrusive but always attentive, as is chef Gianluca's expertise in selecting ingredients and cooking meats over the fireplace. The views of the Tiber Valley and the capital in the distance frame the tables. A highly recommended destination both for a day trip and for grabbing a fabulous gourmet sandwich on the go.

21/09/2025: Welcomed with spontaneous kindness by Alberto, the owner, and served with equal courtesy, we enjoyed an excellent platter, an eggplant parmigiana, and delicious meatballs, accompanied by excellent and relaxing background music.
The "Iovem" spritz and the craft beers were very popular. Only later did we realize that Alberto's true passion is wine (yes, I know, the name of the place was a good clue), so we'll be happy to return to follow his advice. See you soon!

07/12/2025: I went with a group for a retirement lunch. We had a great meal. Pizza and porchetta, a platter of local cured meats, beans with pork rind, tagliolini alla amatriciana, steaks, sausages, and various side dishes. The sautéed chicory was excellent. The place is a bit out of the way, but it's worth a visit. It's great for families and is located in the hills. You can see the Farfa Abbey. You can get there from Rome by taking the highway to Florence, then following Google Maps directions. There are no signs nearby; I would recommend the place put up some signage to make it easier to find. I highly recommend it.

21/10/2025: We had a sandwich to go (8.50€).One of the vegetarian sandwiches was amazing! Probably even outscoring all the amazing food we already had in Rome. It took ~10 minutes to make the sandwich but that was completely worth it!
20/10/2025: We ate an amazing sandwich and had a beer. Alexsandro was our waiter and took very good care of us!
Now for my Brazilian friends: the sandwich is cheap and delicious, well worth it. One is enough for two people if you eat a little. The beer is great, the service is great, and the waiters are very nice.

07/10/2025: We took our first cooking class as a couple and it was a wonderful experience. Marco was wonderful and constantly available throughout the course.
This course is divided into three parts: preparing an appetizer from scratch, a pasta dish, and cleaning the fish; it all ends with lunch based on what we cooked ourselves.
Highly recommended for beginners or those who want to refine their techniques.
07/10/2025: This experience was gained during a beginner's cooking class for couples, where we prepared an appetizer, a first course, and a second course—in this case, eggplant meatballs, a gricia with figs, and sea bass with a zucchini sauce. Chef Marco was super helpful and patient.
We'll definitely be back!

14/12/2025: Found it by chance, desperate for a "full house on a Sunday in Viterbo." When we arrived, it didn't look like much from the outside...but then inside we found an intimate and welcoming place with very kind staff and excellent food. The small selection is delicious...from the platter, to the starters, and finally the dessert. Everything is spectacular! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
