10/06/2025: This evening my husband and I wanted a good porchetta sandwich. Having eaten in several restaurants where they prepare this type of sandwich, I can confirm that this, in my opinion, is the best of the castles, in fact for a long time now we always dine at Cioli! Porchetta of the highest quality, not like in many other places where the porchetta is dry and full of fat, vast choice of side dishes and typical products. Outdoor tables and as if that were not enough the owner is a nice and very kind person. Very clean place which does not hurt! We highly recommend it!

15/09/2025: Quality and Kindness!! We were greeted by Tarek and his super attentive staff, always with a smile. We ate abundantly and, above all, we ate very well. The price was super fair. It was definitely a very pleasant experience and a highly recommended place!

22/08/2025: I know it's a very nice place, recently renovated. It's also beautifully presented from the outside. During competitions, it creates quite a bit of noise, both in terms of traffic and finances, which certainly boosts the neighborhood's reputation.

04/09/2025: The shared table concept is very nice and well executed. The place is beautiful, and the service is attentive but a bit impersonal due to the various nationalities of the waiters. The food is a bit of a roller coaster: the katsu-sando was good, but the zucchini inside had been fried hours earlier and was cold and mushy. The gazpacho (complimentary from the kitchen) with cod was delicious, as were the ravioli stuffed all'amatriciana; the duck was well executed. The pork ribs, on the other hand, were also cold and rather heavy. The wine list isn't very extensive, but it was explained that (rightly) they don't receive deliveries during the summer due to the heat. I must say that the markups on several "trendy" labels are truly exaggerated, so much so that it seems as if some bottles were there more for display and to attract a specific clientele than actually for sale. It's a shame, I had very high expectations, and they weren't fully met.

21/09/2025: We came from Milan and chose Taverna dello Spuntino in Grottaferrata to celebrate my birthday. It's certainly a traditional and very distinctive place, with its underground cellars and rustic atmosphere reminiscent of a medieval round table, amid stone tunnels and hanging hams. Truly unique! The menu focuses on Roman cuisine, although to our surprise, there was no carbonara, a classic we'd expected. The appetizers were good, while the cacio e pepe, while rich, was a bit too heavy on cheese. Overall, however, we couldn't say we had a bad meal. One unfortunate detail: we'd also ordered a cheese platter, which, amidst the confusion of the service and the dishes, was never brought to us. Only later, at home, did we realize we'd been charged for it anyway. A small mistake, but one that leaves the impression of a lack of attention or fairness, especially given the rather modest price. Overall, a charming place for the atmosphere, good for a typical experience, but with room for improvement in service and customer care.

04/10/2025: The atmosphere is that of a classic trattoria, the service is good and the food is equally good, the aubergine meatballs are really excellent, the prices are quite high compared to the dishes offered and compared to the average in the area.

29/09/2025: Rustic and welcoming atmosphere. Very high prices for the area and the place, plus an additional €2 per person for service. Almost all pizzas are over €10-12, and classic first courses: amatriciana, gricia for €14. The pizza is good and crunchy, but bland. The gricia is decent, but with pancetta, when in reality it should have guanciale, and it's absurd to have it without even a grain of pepper. Then, when we asked the chef for some pepper, he said, "I'll bring it to you, but gricia doesn't need pepper..." At which point I was speechless and, to avoid arguments, told him that we like it with pepper and could he bring it anyway? Is it possible that a self-proclaimed chef/cook, who has gricia on the menu at his restaurant, still doesn't know that gricia needs pepper in 2025? Maybe it's time to reopen some cookbooks... The wait staff were courteous, and the table service was good.

26/08/2025: Authentic, tasty, generous portions and reasonable price

25/07/2025: The atmosphere is nice, small but cozy (*)—too cozy for a takeout establishment. The food is excellent and reasonably priced for the area. The staff is friendly and helpful. Recommended. We ordered appetizers, homemade seafood gnocchi, and fried shrimp and calamari with grilled vegetables. Everything was delicious, and we spent €30 total. (*) There are six tables that can't be reserved, so get there early or opt for takeout or delivery. Edit: We returned today. The saltimbocca alla romana and seafood salad were also very good and affordable.

07/10/2025: We visited Marchese del Grillo and were truly thrilled. A trattoria that captures the essence of Roman cuisine: simple, authentic, and irresistibly delicious. We enjoyed a perfect amatriciana, with an intense and balanced flavor, a creamy and perfectly flavorful gricia, and a sautéed chicory that complemented the meal wonderfully, all prepared with quality ingredients and a care evident in every dish. The service was impeccable: the staff were kind, welcoming, and professional, always attentive without ever being intrusive. The atmosphere is familiar yet refined, making the experience even more enjoyable. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone who wants to savor authentic Roman cuisine in a warm and authentic setting. We'll definitely be back!

06/10/2025: By far the most authentic Italian-flavored grill house I’ve encountered during my entire stay in Italy! Even the restaurants in Rome could envy the culinary mastery hidden in these dishes. Incredibly delicious and perfectly balanced flavors — a flawless harmony between ingredients and textures! Not to mention the warm and friendly service. If you’re ever in Ciampino, this is the place you won’t regret visiting. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’d come back anytime!

21/09/2025: This isn't the first time my husband and I have stopped for lunch at this little restaurant in the center of Bracciano, and I must say we were truly satisfied this Sunday as well. The atmosphere is familiar and relaxing, and the young woman who welcomed us was extremely kind and professional. I go there especially for the Gricia, which today exceeded my expectations—a beautiful plate of mouthwatering mezze maniche that even made me mop up the sauce. In the end, I left feeling at peace with my stomach and my life. I recommend it to anyone who appreciates traditional dishes served in a relaxing atmosphere in picturesque Bracciano.

21/09/2025: Everything was perfect. Nice and welcoming place. Friendly staff, good food. The only downside, in my opinion, was that the prices were a little high, but with the 50% discount, we got what we paid.
