Mangiato dei piatti strepitosi a cominciare dal bruschettone ai frutti di mare, insalata di mare, i tonnarelli con i carciofi e pesce freschissimo. La cheesecake al pistacchio deliziosa. 29/03/2025: Welcoming, without frills. Typical quality home cooking. Rich appetizer absolutely worth trying, delicious second courses! We tried the stuffed guinea fowl, stewed cheek with vegetables, cod... all accompanied by potatoes and wholemeal polenta. Excellent homemade desserts. We will be back!

29/03/2025: Great food, with an excellent family and quiet atmosphere, to feel authentic Italian cuisine. The strawberry panna cotta was excellent and the cacio e pepper pasta a wonderful choice. The portions were very large and the prices very affordable. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality and delicious food somewhere away from the tourist center.

03/03/2025: My husband and I were looking for a place to take a quick lunch break, then out of curiosity we entered this very cute place, furnished with refined objects, we started in a gentle way by trying some dishes proposed by the very kind owner, but after having tasted them we made various encores such as the homemade chicory (among the best ever eaten) and the potatoes with speck... the matriciana with crispy bacon and the apple pie instead we wanted to share them, but in the end we ordered one second course because they were spectacular (the cake was soft to the point that it looked like an apple soufflé). The second course was cod with tomato sauce and was tender and plentiful (with raisins and pine nuts it was full of Mediterranean flavours). Everything was very easy to digest and above all my husband who was a Chef for twenty years didn't complain about anything and fell in love with this little place. Highly recommended, also because the price is bistro-style but the dishes are high-class restaurant-style.

03/03/2025: I was around to see what's new in the Montagnola area (I hadn't been there for a while) and I was intrigued by this bistro furnished like a museum/garden... after the first two courses I realized that it wasn't the usual office bar/diner that you find in the area for lunch, but the food was with the quality of a starred restaurant... the surprise was the bill of only €30 and considering that I got 1*, 2*, 3 side dishes, homemade white pizza at place for bread, water, glass of wine and apple pie as soft as a dessert, compliments to the Chef! Next time I'll ask if I can get to know him and maybe if I can steal some secrets from him...like how he makes those Trentina-style potatoes and that Roman chicory but above all the apple pie...I'll be back 👍 sorry for the few ugly photos but I thought more about enjoying the dishes...😜

13/02/2025: Great little bar below a vintage book store. Good beers, great vibe and really good prices for the area. Quiet, but it was pouring down all day on a cold winter day, so definitely not peak season. Back home in Melbourne a bar like this would be absolutely heaving with patronage. Happy to have the place to ourselves really.

11/03/2025: I went to Pizza Luigi for a lunch break with my colleagues. It was a nice discovery. :) Excellent pizza with light dough and well-selected ingredients. I ordered a lumberjack which I really enjoyed. I will gladly come back... many compliments!

07/03/2025: The diavola is inedible, there was all chilli in the centre, the pizza was small, truly terrible I hope it was an oversight considering the hour late I would say I will never order again

17/03/2025: Bad experience! A friend of mine organized her birthday. In summary, the food is not up to par. The roasted aubergines were inedible due to the amount of chilli. The bruschetta is fine there, to make a mistake you really have to put in the effort but they succeeded!!! Then the veal with tuna sauce. Let's forget about it. As for the service, I draw a veil of compassion over the head waiter and the waitress. Zero smiles. Ditto amiability and zero availability. In short, avoid it!!!

16/02/2025: We celebrated my son's Confirmation yesterday and I must say everything was really excellent from the environment to the menu and the extremely kind and helpful staff. A lot of attention also for intolerant and allergic people, my daughter has celiac disease and was able to eat everything. We had a really good time and will be back soon, as we will also celebrate my daughter's 18th birthday there.

20/03/2025: We also often go for a quick lunch with my daughter, I find it to be a well-stocked bar, perhaps more than any other in my area, the staff is very friendly! I feel good about it, I recommend it!

12/04/2025: They overcharged us for wine that we did not order and refused to correct our bill. The cashier was very unfriendly and we ended up paying 16 euros more than we should have. Beware, if they do this to everyone it would really add up. I am going to dispute this overcharge with my credit card company. They brought a different wine to our table than we ordered, and it was more expensive. I told the waiter, and he took it away and brought the correct wine that we ordered. When we received our bill the wrong more expensive wine was charged on the bill not the wine that we actually drank. The wrong wine was never opened at our table nor was it tasted by us. The fact that the owner is making false accusations and not resolving the issue when presented shows a lack of interest in customer satisfaction. Also, this could have been an easy resolution by retrieving the 2 empty wine bottles. But his refusal to rectify this small issue demonstrates the lack of concern for his patrons. This is not good business practice.

11/04/2025: If I could give 10 stars I would! Incredible food and Incredible staff. Half of our group was celiac and they could make any menu item gluten free!!

02/04/2025: A truly excellent service, congratulations. I went in for a coffee and found myself with a friendly and kind barista; without me saying anything else, he also served me a chocolate and a glass of water, a gesture that I greatly appreciated, congratulations.
