30/12/2025: It's truly difficult to find an excellent seafood restaurant in Rome. Sandalia is one of the best. It has no flaws: the staff is professional, attentive, and attentive. Behind every dish, you can see the meticulous attention to detail, every ingredient and every preparation. It's perfect for making a good impression in any situation.

08/01/2026: It used to be "MARIA'S EGG PASTA." We got cannelloni filled with an anonymous mixture and broth stamps filled with the same substance! I can assure you that out of 18 cannelloni and a kilo of stamps, the first ones, inedible, ended up in the bin!! Now the goods come from their laboratory and not made like they used to in their shop like Mrs. Maria used to do!!!! When food becomes industrialized, it loses everything!! I FORGOT......... EVERYTHING WAS FOR CHRISTMAS EVE DINNER AND FOR CHRISTMAS!!!!

17/04/2026: If the Roman night has a scent, it's not that of the heated asphalt or the crisp air of the Lungotevere, but the unmistakable, warm and enveloping one that comes from this bakery "Te la do io la brioscia". Here, the magic doesn't happen at dawn, but in the dark heart of the city, where the absolute protagonist has a name that says it all: Panciccio.

12/04/2026: A classic over-the-top Roma fan who, to show off his confidence, had to plaster his entire store with Roma merchandise. The pizzas were practically burnt. I gave them three stars instead of one out of respect for the people's work.

12/04/2026: Could not recommend this place for breakfast. We got tempted because the sun blesses the terrace in the morning like a holy grail. We realised, however, that in the morning that is the only thing they got going for them. The prices are really quit high (Pantheon is still ever so slightly in sight) for the food/drinks you actually get. Five euros for a green tea which is served in a cup one drinks a double espresso out of, ridiculous. Greek yoghurt which happened to have some red fruit thrown on top of it (fresh, credit where credit is due) for 12 euros, I guess. Eight euros for two slices of toasted white bread with ham and cheese they call 'Italian'? That's French, American, or basically any Western cuisine. The cappuccino was okay for 4,5 euros which is not cheap. You look around and you see people with the same disappointed look over their avocado toast. Pretty harsh review, but there was overall no sense of effort put in anything. We enjoyed the sun for a little longer, contemplated 'being a tourist', paid and left.

24/03/2026: Honestly, the food here was even better than what I’ve had in Rome. The fritto misto and risotto were incredible, and they even deboned the dorada for me at the table, which was such a nice touch. Definitely don’t skip the tiramisu or the sorbet—they are to die for! A huge thanks to Greta for being so attentive and making the night special. Amazing service and even better food. We’ll be back for sure!

30/03/2026: Very good pizza at a low price; however, this establishment doesn't split the bill between diners, so you'll have to settle for an average... Furthermore, we noticed a difference (admittedly minimal, just a few cents) between the paper bill and the payment terminal. This wasn't a service charge, as the restaurant doesn't have one... The servers are pleasant and the pizzas are very affordable; I recommend it for students traveling! We were lucky enough to get a table for 11 people outside!

08/02/2026: My wife and I went to dinner. We chose two menus and asked for a small appetizer to start with, served directly by the owner. The spritz was fabulous, complete with Venetian-style olives. The food was delicious. We asked for a carbonara instead of one of the starters on the menu. I was completely satisfied. A very substantial menu for a very fair price. We will definitely be back often. The food was exquisite, the staff wonderful, and the owners were excellent. Very satisfied. Recommended!

The tomato sauce is intense and aromatic, the cheese is perfectly melted, and the toppings are fresh and of truly high quality – you can tell that nothing is left to chance here. Add to that the incredibly friendly, smiling service and the atmosphere of a true Italian pizzeria with a wood-fired oven. If you're in Anzio and wondering where to eat pizza – this is a no-brainer.
