09/04/2025: We found out about this restaurant by chance, searching on the Internet. We really had a great time, very nice location, passing through an alley you find the very suggestive veranda, overlooking the railway but in our opinion in the evening it is very particular and characteristic, speaking with Gianluca one of the owners that place has been there since the 1940s. For the food we took the aubergine meatballs which were spectacular, a focaccia (and brought some very good oil from them to accompany the focaccia) a good amatriciana, but the cacio e Pepe for personal taste was stratospheric (I did it again). Average prices considering the quality of the products. Service, hospitable, kind, polite and also approachable. It was a pleasure to discover this restaurant, thank you, see you soon.

07/04/2025: Despite the limited choice of starters, they are excellently prepared. The environment is refined and familiar, the service perhaps even too attentive to the customer. I appreciated the wide selection of wines and craft beers.

14/02/2025: Piccolo ristorantino (d’altronde si chiama l’Angoletto) nel centro storico di Monterotondo, abbastanza nascosto e apparentemente anonimo tant’è che l’avevamo sempre snobbato. E abbiamo sbagliato, perché una volta entrati la cucina si rivela ottima: piatti semplici, senza fronzoli estetici, ma cucinati alla perfezione,: ti sembra di mangiare a casa (e per me questo è un grande complimento). Il servizio è cortese e abbastanza rapido, il conto coerente con quanto offerto. Ci torneremo sicuramente.

03/04/2025: I was there for dinner last night with a group of friends, the place was very nice and informal, the food was good even though my boyfriend had meat and there was a sauce on the plate, he thought it was an accompaniment but in reality it was chocolate, the dish probably touched the dessert plates. I had a pizza, I'll start by saying that I'm very slow at eating, the pizza arrived to me immediately compared to other people's dishes and the waiters pointed out to me several times that I was slow, with jokes like: "does the girl like cold pizza?". After constant jokes that initially made me smile but then became a bit unpleasant, I left a piece of pizza on my plate. It was more or less 11pm when we finished and without even thinking twice they started turning off the lights and telling us in a somewhat rude way that we had to leave.

06/04/2025: This is a very nice restaurant with great food and friendly service and ambiance. It is our favorite place in the area so if you can find it you should go. The appetizers and pasta dishes are fresh and delicious! It’s very reasonably priced too!

Very tasty raw appetizer, the first courses very good and with fully satisfactory portions (in addition to the classics on the menu there are very interesting proposals), the frying also very good. Average and appropriate price. Highly recommended.

20/01/2025: We made a mistake by taking place outside of this 'restaurant' without checking the reviews first. What a mistake. Actually we should have left after we got the 'menu' from the very unprofessional waitress. We took two of the daily menus and two pinsas, but still took 30-45 mins to prepare them. See the results below. Saltimbocca: tiny piece of meat with four pieces of potatoes. Cototoletta: meat thick as paper with some salad. Potatoes taste like the oil they fried them is two years old. I am pretty sure they've put the same sauce to Amatriciana and to gnocchi. The pinsa was chewy. And on top of this I noticed some hair from the waitress on my plate. This restaurant is shame of Rome. Make yourself a favour: STAY AWAY! I hope we'll forget this soon.

19/10/2024: Highly recommended place to eat in the center of Rome near Plaza España, the food is exquisite (for a tourist area) and the service is exceptional. It is a family restaurant and the food is homemade, They do it all themselves. Very good price. Excellent
