I've been to La Villetta and I must say it was a truly wonderful discovery, especially if you're looking for fresh fish prepared well and without too much fuss. The quality is evident as soon as you enter, with the display case immediately giving you a sense of the quality of the ingredients.
We started with a delicious raw seafood dish: oysters, scampi, and very fresh tartare, simple but done just right. The appetizers were also excellent, especially the fried fish, light and not at all greasy, and the mussels, flavorful and well-seasoned. The snails in tomato sauce deserve a special mention, as they have a lovely, bold flavor.
The dish that most impressed me was the spaghetti with lobster: well-mixed, rich yet balanced, with the fish flavor truly evident.
The atmosphere is refined without being overly formal, and the service is attentive without being overbearing. It's a pleasant place to be; it's one of those places you'll want to return to.
Overall, it's a restaurant that focuses on quality products and does it right, without overdoing it. If you like fish, it's definitely a place to try.

We were two people, and we spent our evening at the "La Villetta" restaurant. The atmosphere was very welcoming and relaxing, and the restaurant is stylishly decorated. The service was fantastic! From the moment we walked in, throughout the meal, and until we left.
The table was beautifully appointed. As soon as we sat down, they brought us a focaccia topped with olive oil and salt flakes (very good) for €4 and a bottle of water for €3. Then we ordered a raw fish appetizer that was nothing short of exceptional.
We chose a mixed raw fish (3 types of oysters, sea urchins, sea truffles, bolots, scampi, 2 types of shrimp, tuna, amberjack, a very special salmon, and sea bass/grouper) for almost €190.
For our main course, we chose tagliatelle with lobster (fantastic) for €30,
a mussel sauté (not up to the standard of the other dishes, with a tasteless broth and overcooked mussels) for €10, and two scallops au gratin (delicious) for €16.
For our second courses, we chose grilled octopus with baked artichokes (the octopus had a distinctive texture, with a nice hint of charcoal and perfect artichoke!) for €28, and cod au gratin with Roman-style chicory (a bit dry but delicious, and the chicory was also perfect!) for €28.
We accompanied this splendid dinner with two bottles of excellent champagne recommended by the sommelier, for €50.
We then finished with two sorbets, one lemon and one green apple, for €6 each, and two coffees for €2 each.
Total bill €418 for two people, top-quality cuisine and service!

The location and price exceeded our expectations.
Being a seafood restaurant with rather high prices, we expected not only good cuisine but also an atmosphere commensurate with the cost of the experience. In the end, we found ourselves paying Michelin-starred prices, but without experiencing an equally refined atmosphere.

My wife and I had dinner on Friday evening.
The food was excellent, the raw fish was incredibly fresh, the staff were very friendly, the place was welcoming... we ate really well and had a great time.
The owner is a nice and very sociable person.
The only flaw was finding the focaccia on the bill.
It's not worth the €4, per se. But it's a gesture that doesn't exist in restaurants. If you offer a "welcome" focaccia without anyone ordering it, and then you don't have to charge the customer, a nice gesture turns into a terrible one. And it's a great shame, because it's a gesture that makes me not want to return to this restaurant, which deserves it for its cuisine and fresh food.
I hope they realize this gross error and can fix it.
If you don't mind paying for something you don't order (it's a €4 focaccia, I repeat, it's not the €4 on a bill like the one I paid that makes the difference, it's the gesture that's terrible) go because the food is really good.

I really feel compelled to give this restaurant a good review for the top-notch service I experienced a few days ago.
As a Sicilian, I can say I've never eaten such good fish in Rome in the ten years I've lived here. The service is also top-notch, and you can feel the attention and passion behind this restaurant in every detail.
Congratulations, I will recommend this restaurant and, of course, I'll be back 😊

Invited by friends, I happened upon this restaurant, which I wasn't familiar with and which, from the outside, I didn't realize had what I later tasted. The first course was good, as was the second course, both fish-based. Compliments also for the service. I hope to return soon with my family and have a more complete experience!
