22/03/2026: We went for lunch, a place I've known for many years and it's always a sure thing, so congratulations to the entire Taverna Mari team. The atmosphere is beautiful and everything is meticulously cared for, starting with the kitchen, whose dishes are well-crafted with quality ingredients... truly excellent; the service was impeccable, timely, and friendly. We were truly pampered from the start. I can only describe this experience as very, very pleasant, like every time I go. I highly recommend trying this restaurant, and if you go, definitely try the exquisite desserts, especially the caramel apple cake. Thanks again, see you soon, Taverna Mari ❤️. 23/02/2026: A very disappointing experience, especially due to the owner's attitude. We ordered cacio e pepe, clearly specifying that no pepper be added because it was intended for little girls. In other restaurants, they always specify whether the sauce is pre-made and therefore inevitably spicy; here, however, we were assured that they wouldn't add pepper. The result? An inedible dish, so spicy that little girls couldn't eat it. The waitress kindly insisted on remaking the pasta. A gesture we appreciated at the time, interpreting it as a way to correct the mistake. For this reason, we assumed the new dish was a thoughtful apology for the inconvenience. Instead, to our surprise, we found the dish properly added to the bill. When we pointed this out, the owner reacted rudely and unprofessionally, resolving the situation with argumentativeness rather than helpfulness and courtesy. Mistakes can happen to anyone, but it's how you handle them that makes the difference. Unfortunately, in this case, customer service was lacking. We won't be coming back.

21/09/2025: A fairytale setting that couldn't have better captured the atmosphere of our wedding. Our guests were impressed by the villa, the abundant and delicious dishes, and the helpfulness of the staff. We, the newlyweds, also felt pampered every moment of the day, and even a couple of small inconveniences were resolved admirably, leaving us completely satisfied with our experience. Highly recommended!

03/01/2026: Some friends took me to eat at this restaurant and I had a good time, let's say, but the experience could probably be the first and the last, not because it's not exactly satisfying, but because the level of the cuisine and the environment, for me, doesn't justify the price and the quality.

23/01/2026: Excellent restaurant, the name Materia Prima perfectly reflects the freshest products they use. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys top-quality fish and raw seafood. Great service, the waitress is always available, and the glasses sparkle. The atmosphere is quiet, away from traffic and noise. I'm truly satisfied.

05/03/2026: I had the pleasure of having lunch at Agriturismo Colle Tocci in Subiaco, a truly pleasant experience. The quality of the food is excellent, every course delicious and flavorful, and I was truly satisfied. The staff is very helpful and kind, welcoming from the moment I arrived and always ready to offer professional advice. The location, let alone the setting, is wonderful, surrounded by greenery with stunning views, the perfect place to escape the Roman daily routine and recharge in nature. I highly recommend this agriturismo for an authentic and relaxing lunch! I think I'll consider staying a few days next time.

23/02/2026: Warm and well-kept atmosphere! We both ate and stayed overnight and were very happy! The agriturismo is immersed in the greenery and silence of the Subiaco countryside, with a beautiful view of it! A huge job has been done to restore the three large structures that comprise it, making them beautiful and welcoming! The owners are very kind and always available! The restaurant is truly a gem! A short and sincere meal with top-quality products! Mr. Leonardo in the kitchen creates tasty, light dishes that will leave you speechless! The service is excellent, with young, friendly people! A must-try!

06/03/2026: Fabulous food - we went off menu and had delicious fresh seafood all at very reasonable prices. We were looked after beautifully and had an impromptu grappa tasting where we were joined by our hosts.

23/02/2026: I loved everything about this restaurant! The food was good and the service was amazing. We got seated downstairs and the ambiance was very beautiful and cozy. 😊

03/03/2026: We went there to have lunch. The first thing, the menu at the door doesn't match the menu they give you at the table : prices differs. The one at the table was more expensive around 3 euros each plate. I didn't feel sure about it and decided to leave. I dont appreciate to be scammed. At the exit, the owner said very unpleasant things with a terrible tone such as "I hope you find better. You went to to the toilet and now you leave. Very well. ". First, it is my choice to stay or not. Second, they seem to have a double menu for tourists. And third, the treatment is very bad. The owner instead of asking what was wrong, he started attacking us with sarcasm as his food would be the best in Rome. lol. I left, crossed the street and went to a starred restaurant. Best decision ever. I recommend you do the same and avoid tourist scammers.

05/03/2026: Restaurant-pizzeria on Via della Maglianella, slightly off the ring road, but with convenient on-site parking. The restaurant is rustic, simply furnished, a characteristic of typical Roman pizzerias; so don't expect anything modern or extravagant. The staff is helpful and courteous, and manages to create the "light" atmosphere so appropriate for places like this. We ordered fried snacks for an appetizer, including suppli, potato croquettes, and Ascoli olives, a large Peroni beer, a Margherita pizza, and a Parmigiana pizza, both Roman-style, thin, and tasty. We finished with a crème brûlée, which to call delicious is an understatement. Very fair prices. Next time we'll try the pasta dishes.

14/02/2026: We were looking for a sunny bar to have a coffee. And this little bar caught our eye; don't be fooled by the "PMU" sign on the storefront. It's a great place to enjoy a coffee in the sun! The bartender was very friendly; I recommend it!

15/03/2026: The pizza is superb, fragrant and easy to digest, with EXCELLENT and PLENTY of toppings, and fresh, flavorful ingredients. Everyone in my family has really complimented it. It's already the fifth time we've had pizza here, even though it's not exactly close to us, but it's absolutely worth it. I'm sorry to just have a small complaint about the service at the counter. The lady who's expecting a baby was very kind and smiling. She recommended toppings and explained in detail how to reheat it once we got home. Unfortunately, the last few times we've been served by an older lady who really leaves much to be desired. Not a good evening, not a smile, not a word. The quality is fine, but the staff also makes the difference. I'm still giving it 5 stars because it's not fair for one person to ruin a job done with care. For the rest, congratulations!!!!

14/03/2026: A truly wonderful evening. The food was high-quality, exquisitely prepared, and beautifully presented – perfectly complementing the minimalist, stylish interior. However, what impressed me most was the service. The waitress who looked after us was exceptionally attentive and professional. One of the pasta courses didn't quite meet our expectations. Without hesitation, she immediately arranged an alternative and brought us a different pasta dish. It was precisely this flexibility and attentiveness that made all the difference. I also particularly appreciated her helpfulness regarding our plans for the rest of the evening. She even called the club for us to let them know we would be arriving a little earlier. As an added bonus, we were offered a complimentary glass of red wine – a small but very thoughtful gesture. Many restaurants in Rome offer excellent cuisine. However, what truly makes a restaurant experience outstanding is the exceptional service – the people who anticipate your needs, are attentive, and go the extra mile. That's exactly what we experienced here. Thank you so much for this wonderful evening and for the lovely company on my birthday.

08/03/2026: We went to Rome for a rugby match and my husband found this hidden gem, the food was delicious, a very special experience where they made us feel pampered. We had the seven course taster menu, it was well worth it as we got to try a little bit of everything. If you’re in Rome I highly recommend you treat yourself to an amazing experience
