28/03/2026: We stayed one night.
Convenient parking, and the atmosphere immediately felt welcoming and familiar. A warm welcome, even for our border collie, Rocky. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable.
The dinner was excellent, from rabbit gnocchi to braised beef in Refosco, to Refosco tiramisu, and of course, the Refosco wine they produce was truly delicious. Waking up early in the morning was very convenient for Rocky, with plenty of space on the estate, among the grassy paths surrounding the vineyards, and even a stream. Breakfast was super sweet and savory, with hard-boiled eggs and local cured meats. Our request to bring breakfast forward a half hour to 7:30 was granted.
The price was also excellent.
We'll be back.
21/03/2026: Very kind owner who made sure we had everything we needed. I have to emphasize that everything is very clean and tidy, absolutely an extra star for cleanliness.
What I would definitely like to see improved are the beds, or rather the mattresses, which are not comfortable, for a double bed it would be nice if it was in one piece and the frames were in accordance with the bed. We had maids every day during our stay, they also change towels every day. Breakfast is very correct and plentiful. Fridge and microwave and coffee machine available upstairs. Recommendation for a short break 🤠♥️

30/12/2025: Excellent traditional trattoria with tasty dishes, delicious homemade desserts.
The staff is friendly and attentive, and the prices are fair.
The only thing we weren't thrilled with was the frico, which comes in many variations.
In my opinion, anyone who praises it so much has never tasted anything made as tasty and with the right ingredients as we've tried in the mountainous areas of Friuli.

18/09/2025: Great place to stay and visit Trieste, Udine, Cividale, or travel further to Slovenia. Lucca and Paul are great hosts that immeriately make you feel at home. Pauls humor is unforgettable. So is the big pergola in front of the building, the biggest in Italy, Europe or even the world! While having breakfast or dinner under it, you have a wonderful view! This Agriturismo is a unique experience.
28/08/2025: This was our first time in Friuli and we were looking forward to the landscape, the towns, the food, the wine, the mountains, and the sea. While searching for a personally run agriturismo, we came across the friendly reviews of La Faula and felt completely at home there! Luca and Paul have created a very special place, with plenty of space for retreat and peace, as well as for meeting people and sharing their humanity. Thank you for your hospitality, the lovely breakfast, and the delicious dinner! We had a wonderful stay!

07/12/2025: The location is simple but well-maintained. The counter is well-presented and very varied, with fresh, local products. The very friendly staff makes you feel right at home. I highly recommend trying the seafood fregola and the gratinated calamari, and for dessert, the delicious tiramisu. For the quality, the prices are excellent.
15/11/2025: Today, while searching online for takeout, I came across this place for the first time, so I ordered some food from Margio'. From the moment I booked, I noticed the courtesy and professionalism, which was fully confirmed by the quality of the meal I received. A very positive experience, which I would recommend without hesitation.

08/02/2026: On February 1, 2025, after checking online to see if it was open (it says it's still open on February 9), when I got to the door, there was a small sign that said "Closed until March 3!" Update the information!

Wide selection of coffees, sweets, and savory options. We ordered toasted sandwiches, and they arrived super filling—truly delicious. The coffee is also very good. You can clearly see the attention to detail and the friendly service.
