07/05/2026: The Si-Si Hotel in Gemona, where I had the pleasure of staying for one night, deserves a special mention. The atmosphere, seemingly small, surprises you upon entering, perhaps revealing the stinginess of the star rating. It's been a while since I've come across a hotel that, despite its simplicity, exudes great functionality and efficiency, both in its service and hospitality. Recommended.
05/05/2026: Perfect for those traveling by car or bicycle between Italy and Austria. The room with a terrace is fantastic. Check-in and check-out are self-service with a QR code. Only breakfast is a bit so-so, with industrial jams, a very sweet juice, and slices of cheese and ham upon request.
Part of the building also serves as a restaurant, bar, and tobacconist.

17/05/2026: We stopped here for dinner. Everything was delicious! Pizza, chicken breast, gnocchi, and penne with tomato sauce. The atmosphere was super cozy and welcoming. The staff was really friendly. And to finish, they offered free limoncello. It was very cheap. Highly recommended! 😊

We chose this seafood restaurant and were thrilled: the dishes were incredibly fresh, prepared with great care, and the authentic flavors were evident from the first bite.
The staff was simply exceptional: friendly, attentive, and always available.
The value for money was also excellent, which is not a given for such a delicious seafood dinner.
Highly recommended; we'll definitely be back!

The ingredients are undeniably top-quality, and they serve an excellent sparkling wine by the glass. I've been back several times, and the positive reviews are shared by other diners. 11/04/2026: On the recommendation of our landlords, we went to Ai Frati, and it was a disappointment from the start. Our reservation wasn't on file, both pasta dishes were over-seasoned and salty, the amuse-bouche was just okay, and the grilled fish platter was, how should I put it... an outrage. Everything was completely overcooked, and the salad arrived as dessert. Never again! There are plenty of great osterias in Udine with authentic dishes, not to mention the prices.

the food was good... the staff was always friendly.
07/06/2026: We stopped for something to eat and sat down OUTSIDE ON THE TERRACE. We ordered a drink and an ashtray, and were told there was no smoking outside. We stood up and said thank you and goodbye. Also, NO, too bad.

16/06/2026: We went for lunch we were seated promptly we ordered pasta with clams, beef tagitalla, and pizza. The pasta was ok, the beef tagitalla was not very good a bit chewey and the pizza was good. The food was very late and we asked the waitress about it she was very rude then went and got it. The food was not hot when it arrived to the table.
07/06/2026: You have to wait a long time but it's worth it because the food is very good :) and it's probably one of the few places open late at night

07/04/2026: Looking at the menu online, we expected to find grilled meats. I don't know if it's because it was Easter, so they might have a special menu, but we had a great time anyway. The staff were professional and welcoming, the place was clean, and the food was very good. Thanks to the waitress's kindness, my son tried the tiramisu (he never eats desserts other than ice cream) and he loved it. Highly recommended.

10/05/2026: I went for lunch with my son for Mother's Day. We had a wonderful meal, simple yet excellent quality dishes. The lady serving was very kind and friendly.
I have to say it was a lovely discovery.
I definitely recommend it.

26/04/2026: Excellent food, perhaps a little more expensive than other places but worth it both in terms of quality and service and ambience. My vegetarian poke '14 euros delicious, mixed fried fish satisfied my loved ones at the cost of 19 euros. Shall we come back? Of course we will 😍

What I appreciate most, besides the unmistakable flavors and attention to nutritional aspects, is the care with which you are welcomed and advised on your choice and combinations. ☕
13/01/2026: A delightful place, a fairytale corner in the heart of the city. And the desserts are no less delicious, incredible when eaten on the premises, but equally pristine in taste and flavor when purchased to take away and enjoyed a full two days later! Definitely enjoy a break in this little corner; it's worth it!
