30/12/2025: Very nice restaurant, friendly young staff, precise and very fast service. The food will spoil you no matter what you choose. Recommended even for those like us who were just passing through.

11/04/2026: On the recommendation of our landlords, we went to Ai Frati, and it was a disappointment from the start. Our reservation wasn't on file, both pasta dishes were over-seasoned and salty, the amuse-bouche was just okay, and the grilled fish platter was, how should I put it... an outrage. Everything was completely overcooked, and the salad arrived as dessert. Never again! There are plenty of great osterias in Udine with authentic dishes, not to mention the prices.

31/03/2026: We were warmly welcomed. The service was very attentive and fast. We ate exceptionally well, both with our first courses (fresh homemade pasta) and our second courses (baked sea bass with king prawns, truly superb). I highly recommend this restaurant.

12/04/2026: Stayed 2 nights for work. The room and bathroom (with a window!) were large and comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff, free on-site parking (nearby parking lots have parking discs). The hotel restaurant was truly excellent. The only flaw: my room was extremely hot, and with the windows open on a road leading to the hospital and the city center, it was very noisy.

11/04/2026: My parents chose this hotel because they have always been extremely satisfied with their stays. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the bar offers a pleasant atmosphere with an excellent selection of wines. The room was modern, the beds were very comfortable, and the breakfast was truly varied with a wide selection of options. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

27/03/2026: I went to this place with a group of friends.... extremely slow service, we ate the "famous" chicken but it was definitely not worth it, it had probably been reheated and was therefore very dry, not to mention the exorbitant bill for the cover charge and for the quarter of a chicken which cost almost as much as the half chicken offered on the menu.

20/03/2026: Sunday lunch. We arrived very late because we'd driven a bit, and the restaurant where we wanted to have lunch wouldn't accept us because the kitchen was already closed, even though Google said it was open until 3 PM. We opted for this one. After a few more phone calls, which went similarly to the first, they told us that if they arrived soon, we could have lunch. What can I say...it was fate. A very large restaurant, or rather a trattoria. Private parking. The place has many small dining rooms, furnished with a thousand objects from the past, neat and clean. A waiter greeted us in the garden and asked if we were the ones who had called. I thought he'd curse us. I'm used to it. Instead, once we entered with a beautiful bouquet of fresh, fragrant ranunculus and freesias, we found a warm, lively atmosphere and welcoming, smiling staff. Nothing forced, no stern faces, no rude people. The smell of charcoal wafted from the room next to ours, where a fireplace had perhaps cooked something earlier. The rooms were warm and welcoming. A traditional table setting with cloth napkins, not paper. A kind waitress in Friulian dress welcomed us and gave us the menu with genuine kindness and helpfulness. I was very surprised. It seemed like service like it used to be. Something increasingly rare and valuable, and difficult to put together. She was sincere. A very interesting, varied menu with dishes for everyone. Soon, the well-prepared dishes arrived, good, even excellent. Tested and balanced dishes. Well done. A waiter in uniform (increasingly rare) asked if he could dress my salad (maybe it had been 30 years since I'd had that happen... and I frequent many restaurants of all levels) and I really appreciated it. I saw great professionalism and love for this hard and demanding job. I found a place where I would always return, even if something might go wrong one day, it would easily be surpassed because here everything is just as I'd always hoped. Right up until the end, all the staff who passed by us asked if we were okay with a smile and a unique serenity. Be careful. I swear it's been years since I've found everything so welcoming and excellent. Fast service. The coffee is also excellent... The restrooms are impeccably clean, fully equipped, and as beautiful as the rest of the place. The touch of a woman's hand is in the air, adding to the beauty and history of this historic establishment. Where the experience of years past lives happily and bucks the trend of all the modernity that robs the restaurant of its beauty. When I return to Udine, I'll gladly return here and highly recommend it. I'll make a reservation and enjoy everything more slowly. Prices are average. Hats off to everyone and thank you for the excellent experience. It was a pleasure to feel pampered by you. You deserved it.

23/02/2026: Yesterday I was treated to a wonderful surprise, and so, after a cheerful aperitif in the garden, the usual kind and efficient staff welcomed us warmly, finding us a table without a reservation. It's unfair to blame the staff, who were more than helpful to everyone. A beautiful and delicious lunch!

27/09/2025: A true gem in the center of Lignano Sabbiadoro. A welcoming location, run with great professionalism by Annalisa and Mauro. The service is meticulously cared for by the entire staff. The menu satisfies even the most discerning and experienced palates, with quality and refined dishes. There's a special children's menu, as well as paper and pencils for drawing. The dishes are beautifully presented, with generous portions. The wine list is excellent. The prices are in keeping with the quality, service, and location. A rose at every table will warm your heart. We'll be back.

29/03/2026: If the place had more than a couple of tables, it would be a hit. There are a lot of delivery orders. The typical Apulian dishes are delicious.

22/03/2026: Traditional Apulian panzerotti, 100% faithful to the original recipe and also high quality... thin dough, as it should be, and fried without being greasy. It's a shame I didn't discover this place sooner.

20/12/2025: Excellent dinner: at the owner's suggestion, we chose dishes off the menu. High-quality dishes prepared with care and attention, original flavors, and perfect pairings, in a very friendly and pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend it; it's also ideal for large families and business dinners given the spacious rooms.

04/12/2025: When looking for a restaurant, I also make sure it's not in the middle of the crowds, and this one, isolated in the middle of the Friuli plain, is ideal. What's more, the food is good, with some traditional Bavarian dishes, thanks to the kind owner, who is of German origin. As soon as I return to this area, I'll happily stop by again.

09/03/2026: We booked a table for four for lunch. Excellent traditional Sicilian dishes, plus a gluten-free menu designed for celiacs, offering a variety of appetizers, first courses, second courses, and even dessert (cannoli, granitas). The dishes were generous and incredibly tasty. Everything was truly delicious. We'll definitely be back!

28/03/2026: I ate at Toscano in February 2026 with my wife. We had a great time. The only downside is that even now I'm trying to make a dinner reservation and no one ever answers the phone. That puts you off.

24/03/2026: "An authentic experience! We dined at this Tuscan restaurant and were impressed by the quality of the meat: the Florentine steak was incredibly tender and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable about local wines.
