27/08/2025: Hi, I stopped in Udine today and had been waiting a long time for this opportunity to try this little restaurant. The experience was beyond positive, with friendly staff and a truly delicious, beautiful, and inviting buffet with a wide selection to suit every taste. I highly recommend it, and it will be a must-visit every time I pass through Udine. Congratulations again.

29/05/2025: A quick stop for breakfast on the way to Italy. Very friendly and reasonably priced (cappuccino €2, espresso €1.30), with a large parking lot, even for RVs. I highly recommend it.

06/05/2025: Returning from Austria, first stop across the border, we stop for a coffee which then becomes an aperitif with a special mention for the exceptional meatballs 🙌

08/08/2025: My absolute favorite place!!!! I love it. The country-style rooms are wonderful: it feels like you're in an American movie. The park and outdoor area are beautiful, where kids can play and see the horses. Excellent food and excellent service! Great for spending a day with family and friends. Don't miss the musical evenings: you won't find anywhere else like it! I highly recommend it! I'd give it 10 stars instead of 5!

03/08/2025: Beautiful place, pretty good food, shame about the very disappointing service! After waiting half an hour to order, we were told there were no more dishes (which it would have been nice to know before ordering). We ordered food before drinks, and then waited an hour and a half for our food! High prices! It's a shame because the place is truly worth it!

25/08/2025: A lovely evening with friends. The pizzas were delicious. The service was impeccable despite the fact that it was packed.

24/08/2025: Pizza Diavola as a base, with prosciutto and ouvo (egg) – it was excellent and arrived super quickly. And finally, a tiramisu to remember 👍 Absolutely friendly, personable service

23/07/2025: Extra large and extra good portions... that really test your oral capacity... whether they're sandwiches (sandwiches is really an understatement), bruschetta, or other delicacies. 29/08/2025: Simple traditional Friulian dishes, mostly meat-based, with steak as the star. They're well-cooked, if a bit fatty. The atmosphere is very family-friendly, but the restaurant itself leaves much to be desired.

17/08/2025: I stopped by Maurizio's for the first time four years ago, purely by chance. My boyfriend and I were pilgrims on the Camino Celeste that connects Grado to Mount Lussari. It was raining that day, and at Maurizio's we didn't just find a place to shelter from the rain. We found welcoming, hospitable faces, good wine, and amazing meat! That day we left with the intention of returning as soon as possible, even if only to give thanks for those moments we shared, to relive happy times. Today, four years later, by car, as newlyweds, with a small child for company, we returned to that beloved place. We found it renovated compared to the past, in the aesthetics of the outdoor veranda and the impeccable quality of the dishes served. We enjoyed two New Zealand roast beef steaks (with potatoes and mixed vegetables) so tender they could be cut with a fork. Our little one ate his well-done steak, and to finish, we indulged in a parfait with Amaro del Capo liqueur, something we'd never tasted before. What can I say...it was worth it. Places where we feel good are always worth it...thank you, Maurizio and Enrico, for making us feel like lucky pilgrims on this journey, as sweet as life itself!

13/08/2025: Hidden garden just outside Udine. Where to eat the best grilled chicken, but also great starters such as the carpaccio, or grilled or raw porcini. Beautiful garden, traditional interior and dog friendly. Be aware of the mosquitos. Food: 9 (order pollo alla diavola) Picanha carpaccio: 10 Essential: Autan spray

04/09/2025: We were there for dinner on September 3, 2025. It was truly delicious, and the melonchello, which complemented it, was a real discovery for me—incredibly delicious! The only thing: our server wasn't quite as friendly; perhaps he was just having a bad day. But because the food was so good, we'll definitely be back. Many thanks to the chefs!

30/08/2025: The restaurant left a solid four-star impression. Overall, the food was tasty, the prices were acceptable, but there were a few things that spoiled the impression. The bread, as a courtesy, was unfortunately stale. They brought us a whole pizza for four people, but did not offer to cut it, we had to do it ourselves with a steak knife, which was quite inconvenient. They also did not bring us plates, so we practically ate "with our hands" and the tablecloth was covered in crumbs. As for the dishes: the gnocchi was good, the grilled seafood was also okay, but without any "wow" effect. The seafood pasta was disappointing, there was very little seafood and the sauce was quite thin. The tiramisu desserts were not tasty, we did not even finish it, but the "meringue" was very good. The service did its job, but a little more friendliness would not have hurt.

07/09/2025: The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. They ask for feedback and are committed to ensuring their customers have a great evening. The pizza is amazing! One of the best pizzas I've had in Friuli. Highly recommended.

07/09/2025: An appalling experience, to say the least. The crust was COMPLETELY raw, as if it had never been in the oven: flour and water, inedible. Such a mistake in a pizzeria is unforgivable, because you go there to enjoy an evening, not to ruin it. Furthermore, the service was excruciatingly slow: 20 minutes just for us to take our order, and then another 20 (if not more) for the pizzas to be delivered to the table. Some of the waiters were kind, but the girl at the cash register was arrogant and rude, which further degraded the experience. If you organize shifts (7–9 PM and then from 9 PM onward), then you need to ensure speed and organization, not biblical waiting times and undercooked pizzas. As if that weren't enough, on our table there was a lamp made from a used bottle... full of dust! A detail that demonstrates a lack of care and attention. In conclusion: a terrible evening, a total disappointment. I really hope it was just a coincidence, but the fact remains that it was an experience that had nothing to do with what you expect from a pizzeria.

17/08/2025: We booked dinner on the 16th for 9 friends. The waiter took our orders in a very chaotic manner, mislabeling the dishes. The meat was definitely high-quality, especially the Fassona tartare. Spaghetti with clams had an excessive amount of garlic. The prices were quite high, and the service left much to be desired.

16/08/2025: The food was good. Ordered a medium fillet, but it arrived overcooked. Then it was too hot inside and smelled heavily of smoke...

13/04/2025: Ci siamo stati a pranzo dopo aver letto le recensioni positive. Gli involtini primavera nella norma e mancava del sale. Ravioli misti cosí cosí (quelli di carne buoni ma quelli di pesce no). Riso alla cantonese un po secco e poco saporito. Pasta di soia secca e poco saporiti e con poco pesce. Gamberi fritti pessimi (la pastella tipo quello delle frittelle di mele...). Pollo al curry buono. Mi dispiace scrivere una recensione negativa, forse erano in giornata no, puó capitare, ma non siamo stati soddisfatti. Peccato.
