There is also a playground for the children. The outdoor area is also well equipped with sun protection. Can only recommend Al Canedo. Top restaurant 👍

05/08/2024: Being able to give 4.5 stars would be the ideal review, but even comparing it with other places 5 stars would be too much. It remains an excellent place to eat in the center of Lignano, in a side street just outside the pedestrian area. Very good food and adequate service, even if we tried only a few dishes. What was a little out of place, even considering the type of place that presents itself as a wine shop, was the medium-high cost and above all the 3.5 euro cover charge, decidedly above average.

10/08/2024: Disappointment. It's called a tavern but it has nouvelle cuisine portions and prices, and is of average quality. The waitress/host recommended some wines by the glass not on the menu, all €6 per glass, while those on the menu were all between €2 and €4. Furthermore, when we booked we were assured of a good choice of gluten-free options, which turned out not to be true.

The flavors of the past are rediscovered in a spectacular natural setting both for the beauty of the landscape and for the friendliness and courtesy of the service. On the terrace, spending time admiring the view and enjoying the dishes is truly very pleasant. Not only do I recommend it but I recommend it for anyone who wants to spend a romantic and carefree evening.

27/07/2024: We had lunch a few days ago in this restaurant on the external veranda, very welcoming and the staff ready and professional; the two starters were very good, unfortunately the other two dishes were not at the same level. The cut was a little stringy and not very tasty (but it's understandable if people want lean meat...). Disappointment comes with the first "Scogliera in bianco", a portion a little too generous, the condiment consisted of shelled mussels and clams (a few shells for the choreography would not have been a bad thing) and some prawns (they gave the sensation of having been drained from one of the classic vases in brine). No hint of a real reef and a fair amount of oil had to be added to be able to eat it. Not a total failure, but a narrow pass.

19/03/2024: A pleasant discovery. Large comfortable rooms and excellent finishes. Bathroom with a large shower and new and very clean toilets. We also had dinner enjoying simple but quality cuisine. They made us feel at home and the welcome was perfect. Their products are also good. If we need to pass through or stay in those parts we will definitely return. 05/08/2024: After a long day at work, we opted for this little restaurant. Welcomed by the helpful and smiling staff, they made us sit at the table. You are immediately enveloped by the tantalizing smells coming from the tables next to you. Red peppered mussels, mixed appetizer, first course "of the day/off the menu", mixed fried fish and squid, mixed grilled fish and an excellent sparkling house white wine, at a truly honest price, really refreshed our body and mind. Compliments to the expert hands in the kitchen, and to all the staff, who made us feel at home. No more than 5 stars can be given to all of this, but it deserves a firmament! Until next time!

11/08/2024: We went for the first time, based on the reviews and that it is a restaurant suitable for disabled people.. Well yes: Not even a parking lot for the disabled, they have a kind of ramp and that's it... Upon my arrival I immediately reported to the staff while my husband was looking for a parking space, luckily a customer saw our difficulties and offered to move his car to fit ours too. I took a sliced ​​roast beef and my husband had an appetizer with lard... as a second course with a chateubriand... The grilled meat arrives and TOTAL disaster!! It was full of mixed pepper and very salty.. BUT WHY DO YOU RUIN THE MEAT IN THIS WAY.. My Tagliata was breaded with this mix of PEPPER AND SALT.. Of course I told the 2 waiters that the €90/kg meat shouldn't be RUINED... my mouth was on fire... Then next to our table it was the same terrible experience with the meat. She took a sliced ​​chicken (which she had to leave despite herself) and he took a ribeye steak with the PEPPER mix.. I'm sorry for the inconvenience, even though they said they always do it this way... It's a shame because the meat was good, especially the one my husband got. On the menu it says that the minimum weight is 600 grams, he received half a portion!! I wonder why and why not notify the customer??? In my opinion, the environment should be cleaned well, not full of cobwebs, the fan above the fridge where they keep the water is so dirty that it is not white but dark grey... So some things about disability, cleanliness and meat need to be reviewed... It should simply be cooked on the grill without ruining a meat delicacy.. According to the reviews I had much higher expectations!!! REALLY SORRY..

11/08/2024: We went to eat this evening, ravioli and pappardelle were very good, the rib-eye was also good together with the sliced ​​chicken, the only thing in my opinion was too much, too much pepper, it should be added by the customer to his/her liking like salt or oil, too much pepper" ruined the whole meat a bit, after a while I no longer felt anything in my mouth. The service was ok, they were kind enough to provide us with mosquito spray... but I didn't expect 120€ for two people (without dessert/ coffee)
