After a ride in the valley from Venzone to Tarcento, with an altitude difference of 1650 meters, the osteria is an excellent refreshment point. The sandwiches and toasts are good (alas, a bit expensive, but we know that everything has gone up these days), and the beers are excellent.

This restaurant in the center of Tarcento is lovely to sit at the outdoor tables in the shade of the trees in the summer. From sandwiches and meatballs to the daily specials, the food is excellent and plentiful. The wines are also good!

02/05/2026: The aperitif with prosciutto breadsticks was excellent, and the Tenuta Stella Friulian wine was very good. We also stopped for dinner. I informed the staff of my lactose intolerance, and they were very accommodating with various options. I had risotto with asparagus and speck, which was truly excellent. They also had lactose-free desserts, but I was full. I'll definitely be back.
21/04/2026: A business lunch with a local client, recommended and booked by him. The location is fantastic, in the Collio area, passing through beautiful villages nestled in vineyards on the way from Piacenza, with a fantastic view just a few kilometers from Slovenia. We ate traditional local dishes, starting with a stellar San Daniele. Special mention for the local wine, a superb Ribolla Gialla.
