We were there this evening, the staff were friendly, the atmosphere was lovely. The food was more than excellent. The pasta was homemade. It's a shame I didn't take pictures of the dishes! I recommend trying it! And don't hesitate to try the dessert: gubana!

Longobardo is a local classic – somewhat hidden away, but full of charm, attentive service, and delicious local cuisine. It's a great place to spend an evening and let yourself be pampered. The menu is concise, but all the more refined for it. I'd gladly return anytime.

A pleasant stop near the Tempietto Longobardo. A lovely shaded garden just a few steps from the Monastery of Santa Maria in Valle, home to Cividale’s remarkable eighth-century Tempietto Longobardo and its medieval frescoes and stucco figures.
The cuisine is simple and centred on Friulian specialities. We tried the gnocchi di ortiche and the cjalsons: both were very enjoyable. Good value for money and a pleasant address after visiting the monastery.

We stumbled upon it while visiting Cividale. Very cute, right in the center. Everything was truly delicious. We particularly enjoyed the lamb chops, the best I've ever eaten. The waitress was really kind.

We wanted a traditional meal, so we chose this restaurant based on its name, and we made an excellent choice. The atmosphere was pleasant, shaded, and clean. The waiter was very friendly and helpful in helping us choose our meal. He briefly introduced us to traditional local cuisine and ingredients and recommended a dish that was also his favorite. The meal was simple, very tasty, and—contrary to popular belief—didn’t have a tomato base. After the meal, we enjoyed a traditional, excellent espresso. Thank you for a very pleasant experience.
