We were New Year's Eve, we had a wonderful time and we ate divinely!
Returned yesterday for a family lunch, excellent dishes based on mushrooms and fresh truffles, at very affordable prices.
Informal and convivial atmosphere, courtesy and impeccable service.

05/03/2025: I went for dinner on Saturday March 1st.
2 starters
- fried gnocco (2 pieces with ham) - - - polenta (4 squares of polenta) there was no sauce written on the menu, replaced with something else once served.
- One picanha and one horse rib (1 kg)
Side dish, baked potatoes and 3 grilled courgettes.
1 glass of wine and 1 still water.
No coffee or liquor.
128 euros....it seems a bit excessive to me, all good for goodness sake...but 128 seems like a lot to me!!

08/12/2024: For me, this is the first “Trattoria del Cuore”. I link this place to many wonderful family memories, but above all to tastings of delicious dishes, among which the tortellini in capon broth that are difficult to match stand out. Highly recommended!

30/03/2025: Gelato buono. Quando lo provai per la prima volta, lo presi direttamente al bancone. Nulla da ridire. Tuttavia, oggi ho commesso l’errore di ordinarlo da casa tramite consegna a domicilio (con costo del servizio di 4 €). Solo aprendo la vaschetta, mi sono accorta che i 500 grammi ordinati erano in realtà 350 circa. Un atteggiamento pessimo, scorretto e davvero disonesto.

23/02/2025: We went to this restaurant and enjoyed an excellent second course of first courses. The tortelloni with ricotta, butter and sage were soft and tasty, a classic that never disappoints. The gramigna with cream and sausage was rich and creamy, with a full flavor that won us over.
We continued with a soft and light fried gnocco, perfect for accompanying cold cuts, lard and cheeses.
Simple but welcoming atmosphere and staff.

06/03/2025: It could improve. I tasted a first course (tagliatelle with mushrooms) where the mushrooms did not "match" the pasta. The sauce not mixed with the pasta. Parsley was predominant rather than mushrooms. Dish to take care of.
I haven't tried other dishes. All in all, a place that you find along the way that is easy-going.

30/03/2025: Small and historic pastry shop located a few steps from the Duomo with an interesting mini wine shop of wines and champagnes. I didn't buy any sweets but they looked nice and the staff was friendly.
26/03/2025: Really good Bensone, perfect consistency and lemon aroma that suits us very well... the only flaw is there is no list of ingredients on the package.
