Finally a large family can afford good food and an evening at the restaurant. Go there. You too will come back as I will as soon as possible and often

21/07/2024: Poco fa sono stato in questa gelateria essendo di passaggio in macchina a Savignano sul Panaro. Un attimo prima di me entrano due signore che chiedono delle confezioni da chilo; le due ragazze poco solerti nel servirle, impiegano almeno cinque minuti tra incertezze nella scelta dei gusti e lentezza nel riempire le vaschette. Mentre una delle signore paga entrano due ragazzi che salutano le gelataie. Quella libera chiede loro che cosa volessero. Io faccio notare che ero lì da cinque minuti e che toccava a me essere servito. La ragazza mi guarda basita e sottolinea che non glielo avevo fatto notare abbastanza amabilmente. Il che non era vero. Certamente la ragazza non era molto professionale perché se non ricorda in presenza di due sole persone chi deve servire sarebbe meglio che chiedesse a chi tocca invece di servire i suoi amici entrati per ultimi. Direi che non è stata amabile lei con me dandomi lezioni di bon ton; dovrebbe prendere lei lezioni di galateo.

30/08/2024: A historic venue on the first hills of Modena. Traditional food, exquisite hospitality. There were some inconveniences in the table service, promptly "confessed" by the manager complete with an unsolicited apology. Good quality/price ratio. A certainty.

14/12/2024: The place is very nice. Considering that we ate an imperial appetizer, shrimp cocktail, 2 spaghetti with seafood, 2 desserts, water and Falanghina, 2 coffees, the price was right. Decent food.

03/12/2024: I don't give 5 stars only because I have to return to taste other dishes from this restaurant discovered by chance on my way back from Lake Maggiore. The grilled duck is worth a trip, the mixed grill was really excellent. The quality of cooking of these meats was a real surprise. We also tasted a platter and a sauce with Luganega and didn't find a flaw. Value for money 9.

29/11/2024: Great experience! Passing through, returning home after a long business trip, we booked blindly, based only on the average rating and reading the negative reviews of the places in the area....we were more than lucky! The restaurant is located just outside the center of Modena, it is almost invisible from the outside, also thanks to the sign hidden by a plant. A table was reserved for us in an uncomfortable environment which certainly appears to be outdoors in summer, given the drafts that could be felt coming from the thin curtain panels; the rest of the structure instead seemed well-kept, warm and welcoming. The service is courteous, precise and fast. The owner however, during the evening conveyed to us his professionalism and passion for cooking. We ordered two types of appetizer, the platter with fried gnocco and cured meats and the Luganega sauce, and we appreciated both: the light and dry gnocco was excellent! Then we tried two second courses, mixed grill and grilled duck breast. We were thrilled, there's little else to say! Exquisite meat, tender as butter, juicy, tasty, expertly cooked: I haven't eaten anything this good for years. To accompany everything, a good bottle of red wine. To finish, a homemade tart with black cherry jam which we paired with an excellent ratafià. Bill proportionate to the quality of the food, but when you eat so well every euro is well invested!

27/06/2024: Impeccabile! Dal menù al servizio, dalla carta dei vini ai piatti, capitati per caso in una giornata complessa…sono riusciti grazie all’accoglienza e ai piatti a risollevare la giornata. Qualità/prezzo ottima! Consiglio vivamente di venire

14/08/2024: Era un poche non ci andavamo ma le porzioni e la bontà del cibo sono sempre ottimi. Tutto buonissimo. I primi favolosi, antipasto gustoso, secondi abbondanti.

12/08/2024: Hai presente quando cerchi un posto dove mangiare qualcosa e non hai nessuna aspettativa? Beh, noi eravamo messi così. Parcheggio pieno di furgoni e macchine aziendali, sala e terrazzo (con vista sulla vallata) disseminata di tavoli ai quali troviamo seduti quasi tutti uomini, giovani cameriere sveglie e un demone tentatore che viene al nostro tavolo a prendere l’ordine. Finiamo col mangiare dal primo al dolce bevendo fresco vino bianco in caraffa. Non arriviamo a spendere 50€ in due avendo ordinato alla carta. Ci siamo leccati i baffi e siamo usciti col proposito di ritornare presto malgrado noi si venga da Bologna. Quando si lavora con la testa sulle spalle si vede!

15/09/2024: Torno per la seconda volta e devo dire che continuo a trovarmi bene, ottima qualità e scelta nelle paste in un locale pulito e ben tenuto. Gode di tavolini all'aperto e parcheggio auto.

26/11/2024: ... inimmaginabile niente di più, caffetteria con annesso laboratorio che sforna di continuo ogni delizia dolce e salata, bomboloni, gnocco fritto, pizza, di tutto di più, locale sempre gremito ma il servizio al banco è veloce ed efficiente, correttissimo il rapporto qualità/prezzo, considerando il tipo di locale merita in pieno il voto massimo.

19/10/2024: Ottima caffetteria con prodotti freschi prodotti da loro, super bomboloni e molta scelta nella varietà di farciture delle brioches.

04/12/2024: Competitive prices for a place in the Pomposa area, average food quality, the cut of scottona was really juicy, sweet and very good. It's a shame that I instead ordered the cut of sausage to find four pieces of meat which, I'm sorry to admit, I didn't have. Particularly appreciated as it was very fatty, it reminded me of the one from the South with the chunks of fat inside. The pinsa was tasty even if low in salt, but I understand perfectly that having an important seasoning, it is perhaps correct that the mass is more delicate. Two of us also had the first courses, average tagliatelle, however the lasagna was not recommended to me as it had too greasy bechamel and a somewhat standardized flavour. We got a couple of desserts and even those didn't look exactly like "grandma's" ones. The bill was honest, €30 per person (it was €31.80 and there were discounts) with 2 pinsas, 5 second courses, 2 first courses, 3 coffees and 3 desserts.

14/12/2024: the young lady who welcomed us was really kind to both us and our little girls...she made us sit right away and the first course arrived very quickly...the pasta with sardines was fantastic like the other two first courses...the swordfish cutlet sublime... the generous portions... the very friendly staff... we will definitely be back for the happiness of my girls...

04/12/2024: Location on the outskirts of the mountain town of Pavullo with parking and a large and welcoming room where you can enjoy pizza, tortellini and delicious meat
