14/01/2026: I'm a regular Sunday night customer after a basketball game with friends. The crispy, well-topped pizza at Sombrero is a sure thing. We're disappointed when there aren't any leftover portions of the mascarpone with Barozzi, but fortunately, that rarely happens. The waitresses give everyone five stars.

15/03/2026: Had lunch today, March 15, as usual when I stop in Modena to buy cooked must. It's now a regular stop to enjoy the fabulous boiled meats (today we also enjoyed the delicious desserts). A special mention to the waiter who served us, Mr. Antonio, whose experience, courtesy, friendliness, and professionalism were top notch. My sincere compliments.

13/01/2026: We ate very well. The capon-filled tortellini were spectacular, as were the tagliatelle with ragù, and the other two first courses that I can't remember... The calzagatto was excellent. Impeccable service and the hostess was very kind and friendly. Congratulations.

31/12/2025: This place has been completely renewed recently. It's small (~25 places), good for intimate dinners. The menu is pretty short (which is good) with some simple/classic stuff and other classics revisited. I tried carciofi alla giudia (very good) and lasagne (revisited, good and tasty). Service polite and quick, price I would say normal (starter, primo, dessert, coffee, glass of wine = 45€). My experience was very pleasant, I recommend it, the quality is very good. I would recommend the management to take care of some minir details when presenting food: dessert (nocino mousse) wasn't very appealing to watch or lasagna was served in a high border dish which is uncomfortable to deal with a fork (much more suitable for a spoon). Bottom line: I liked it, can do an extra step towards quality, but overall a good experience with good food and service at a reasonable price given the quality and the location.

19/03/2026: Good morning everyone, We're here for dinner on Saturday evening. The rooms are well-maintained and ancient, like the terracotta floors. Apulian specialties, from stracciatella to orecchiette and turnip tops, all truly delicious. The specialty, in my opinion, is the French-style service, truly excellent. The service is nothing short of exceptional. Compliments to the Masseria. I highly recommend making a reservation.

16/03/2026: A restaurant that has always served excellent quality, well-prepared, traditional Apulian products. The staff is a bit cold and "snooty," perhaps too much so for a restaurant of this type. Prices are high, but these days, quality comes at a price. It's one of our favorite restaurants!

22/12/2025: A truly welcoming and informal restaurant in the center of Modena, perfect if you're looking for heartfelt, home-style Emilian cuisine made with genuine ingredients. Here you'll find tagliatelle with ragù, lasagna, gnocco fritto with cured meats and parmesan, eggplant parmigiana, and homemade desserts that many customers consider among the best in the city. They're also paired with excellent local wines and Lambrusco.

05/11/2025: We were in Gallipoli on a tour of Sardinia and had dinner at this typical restaurant. Everything was delicious, and we had excellent service. I recommend everyone visit Gallipoli and stop at this truly interesting restaurant.

20/10/2025: We visited Rubino restaurant in Gallipoli while trekking in Salento; it's an excellent place for a seafood dinner. The atmosphere is elegant and welcoming, suitable for both couples and friends. The seafood is fresh, well-cooked, and carefully presented. The staff is friendly and helpful. I'd say it's a solid choice for quality seafood in the city.

02/04/2026: Typical Modenese cuisine, simple and delicious. Gnocco fritto and tigelle are the kings and queens of the menu, but the first courses with ragù or mushrooms are equally as delicious. Tortellacci are phenomenal! Tortellini in capon broth are superb! Stefano (the chef) and his wife make you feel at home, like family. The atmosphere is intimate and warm. And, surprisingly, there's a WONDERFUL aquarium waiting for you! Go there!

26/03/2026: We had a truly wonderful meal at Trattoria La Stalla. The service was excellent, fast, and friendly, with a warm and authentic atmosphere that made you feel right at home. We had gnocco and tigelle, tagliatelle with ragù, tortellini in broth, and to finish, zuppa inglese: everything homemade and excellent. The quality of the dishes was truly high, with authentic flavors and generous portions. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.
