30/03/2026: The intimate setting creates an incredible atmosphere. We chose the charcuterie and cheese platters and the lamb tartare (very delicate), accompanied by a red wine chosen by the owner. Dessert was a very delicate strawberry mascarpone. We will definitely be back to try the rest of the dishes. P.S.: Excellent wine selection, and advance reservations are essential.

18/05/2026: The inn is located a few kilometers from the village, accessible via narrow but quiet roads, immersed in the tranquility of the woods. The view is priceless: it sweeps across the entire valley below, and is at its best at sunset. The food is truly delicious, and the portions are generous. The staff is very friendly. The room and bathroom are very clean and well-equipped; the only drawback is that you can hear your neighbors quite a bit; you have to be sure they're not noisy.

31/05/2026: We had a class dinner with a pizza menu. Adults were given a half meter for every three or four people, and that was the case. There were six children at the dinner and they only got one half meter, which was decidedly too little. Drinking one pitcher of beer for every three people, not a liter. Overall, the venue was highly appreciated because the kids had a blast, but the value for money was very questionable. The portions of food and drink were meager.

23/05/2026: Nice atmosphere, both inside and out. Good food and pizza. Usually very crowded, especially with families with children who are attracted by the stream with koi carp. Overall, a good place. A bit of a wait, especially on weekends, although the staff is very quick and friendly. Will definitely return.

03/05/2026: Modena's historic market. If you Google "things to see in Modena," after the Ferrari Museum, this market will pop up. A market where you can find any food (and only food), along with small restaurants stacked one above the other, where you can eat face-to-face with other diners. So if you're looking for privacy, look elsewhere. Almost all of them offer Emilian cuisine, so a wide variety of pastas and classic main courses. I recommend it as a stop; you won't find the chaos of Ballarò, but you'll find a very authentic atmosphere. The only downside is the wait; if you can get there before lunchtime, you'll be able to eat in a decent amount of time; otherwise, you'll need a lot of patience and a lot of thought. I don't think you can book. The prices are typical for an "average" restaurant. Recommended.

22/05/2026: Superb dinner, recommended!!!! We were served by Enrico, who was super kind and even let my 7-year-old son help him carve the prosciutto. All the cured meats were exceptional, not to mention the boiled and roasted meats. Recommended

18/05/2026: A restaurant serving traditional Emilian and Po Valley cuisine. I particularly recommend the superb boiled meats and the selection of first courses, including traditional stuffed pasta dishes. The desserts are also noteworthy. The atmosphere is clean and simple, with ample seating. The restaurant is conveniently located near the Modena Sud highway exit. Good value for money.

11/01/2026: It's a small restaurant where you have to book in advance, otherwise you won't be able to find a table. The food is excellent, with tasty, traditional dishes, generous portions, and very kind and helpful staff. I recommend this place to anyone who loves traditional local cuisine. I always come to visit them every time I come to Modena.

28/03/2026: It's worth stopping by, seriously. I was only able to photograph a portion of the windows because on a Saturday morning at 8:00 the place was starting to attract customers, but aside from a few moments of waiting, I have to say that there's truly an embarrassment of choice. If I may offer one piece of advice, I think the window display needs rethinking. With the increasing crowds, you often can't see the selection until you reach the lady who's about to serve you. I find it impractical, and it's a shame that every gem doesn't have a chance to be seen. Whether we're talking about tarts, savory options, or classic brioches. My sister and I had a pan au chocolat and a saccottino (both truly enormous!), with a soy cappuccino and a latte (oat) macchiato. I can't say it was my cheapest breakfast, but the quality ingredients and the effort put in make it feel like an undeniable value for money. I think it was truly a delicious treat.

24/05/2026: Dinner with friends. Excellent crescentine. For the first courses, I recommend the gramigna. Peppered fillet steak was excellent. The panoramic terrace is a lovely place to relax.

24/05/2026: Highly recommended...as always. Location on the first hills of Torre Maina (cool in the evenings on very hot days). The tigelle dough is excellent, especially the gnocco fritto (we didn't order pasta dishes). Excellent local and international wines, with a refined selection, such as a still white Pignoletto. The young and polite staff are ready to satisfy every need. A lovely evening. Well done.
