08/02/2026: We're finally here! After four years of fantasizing about the magnificence of the place, I can confirm that the 300 km round trip from Brescia to Modena was truly worth it. The owner was extremely kind and helpful, the atmosphere was truly pleasant, and the food was superb! Top marks. One small flaw, perhaps, was the speed of service, but this was justified by the fact that the place was packed and there were only two staff, excluding the kitchen staff. The dishes were truly flavorful and delicious. The prices reflect the quality.

20/03/2026: This restaurant is located in the very central area of ​​Sestola, perfect for a traditional meal at a good price. For two starters, a main course, a dessert, and water, we spent €25 each. The restaurant is very clean and tidy, almost elegant. The dishes are beautifully presented and come in just the right portions, neither too big nor too small. Plus, the dishes are tasty and have a bold flavor. Highly recommended! If we ever pass through Sestola again, we'll definitely be back!

21/03/2026: Dinner with friends at a historic restaurant. I've heard great things about it. It's always packed, and there must be a reason. The food is good, the price is low, and the atmosphere is great. What more could you ask for? I recommend it to everyone! There were eight of us at the table. We had two large trays of first courses, each serving enough for four. Tortelli with butter and sage, and tagliatelle with ragù, which were spectacular. In fact, we ordered another tray and ate for eight of us. Then everyone chose their own meat dish; I opted for tripe. For side dishes, baked potatoes (delicious), balsamic onions, and peperonata. One dish of these side dishes could have fed eight people because they were so huge. My bottle of still white wine was Trebbiano; the others were Lambrusco. Dessert, coffee, and a bitter. Pleasant atmosphere; the only flaw was the table right by the door, and you always got a bottle of Sibbiola. Very friendly female service.

18/03/2026: A 1970s-style trattoria serving excellent local produce. €20 for a first course, second course, and water. They don't have a lunch menu, but their prices are certainly competitive.

06/03/2026: A great find in the center of Maranello. These friendly and knowledgeable guys manage to combine excellent drinks with food for all tastes, including vegetarians and vegans. The atmosphere is youthful, elegant, and never boring.

28/02/2026: The refuge is in a strategic location, close to the "Passo del Lupo" ski lifts (a 1-minute drive). The refuge is immersed in nature and completely surrounded by snow. The facility is very welcoming, and the breakfast was excellent: well-stocked and everything was delicious. I would happily return to the Rifugio del Firenze Ninfa!

23/11/2025: Always a good choice... tonight, double-cooked octopus and tuna tataki, accompanied by a Franciacorta Saten. Highly recommended. Returned today, November 21, and some small flaws arose in the service (the Chateaubriand plate wasn't brought, the bottle of Ripasso wasn't opened to let it breathe, and the dessert knife and fork were requested twice). Tortellini weren't exceptional (a bit lacking in filling and overcooked by a minute). Desserts need revisiting. The rest was good, as usual.

21/03/2026: Excellent typical Emilian restaurant, I can only give it 5 stars for everything. The bar with billiards is legendary!! The first courses are not only generous but also delicious. The second courses and side dishes are equally delicious, except for the zucchini flowers, which perhaps need a rethink. I can't wait to go back and try the crescentine and tigelle.

20/03/2026: A place that has remained unchanged—that is, always great. You eat authentic Emilia here, and the owners are always friendly and kind. If you go, you can't miss the walnut tortelloni, although everything else is absolutely worth trying. 5 stars, only because 10 isn't a good thing!

The atmosphere is warm and genuine, and the service, always friendly and attentive, immediately puts you at ease, creating a pleasant connection with the customer. The cuisine is excellent: well-executed dishes and a great respect for tradition, without sacrificing the quality of the ingredients. The wine cellar is well-stocked and offers interesting selections. In short, it's one of those places worth a visit: as they say these days, the place is worth the trip!

10/03/2026: Very nice place, with both indoor and outdoor seating. It's especially good for lunch, especially in spring/summer, in my opinion. It serves traditional fare, and everything is good, including the boiled meat cart. It's not cheap, but it's still worth the price for what you get. It's more suitable for special occasions than anything else.

The beef fillet steak was buttery and the fried mushrooms were amazing, but the finishing touch was the modern tartlet prepared at the table, which was also a touch of class.
