There are places you visit and others that stay in your heart: Antica Corte Casa Marini is one of them. As soon as we arrived, we breathed in peace, beauty, and authenticity. The courtyard, surrounded by greenery, offers an intimate and private atmosphere, perfect for a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The restaurant was a wonderful surprise: excellent dishes, prepared with passion and quality ingredients. The pool is a true corner of paradise, meticulously maintained and perfect for relaxing in complete tranquility. But what truly makes this place special is the owner's hospitality: a person of rare kindness and helpfulness, capable of making you feel like a guest, not just a customer. We left with the promise of returning. If you're looking for a place where you can truly feel at home, this is the place.

We stayed in an apartment next to the beautiful main building, an old restored palazzo. The place is very well kept, with a nice garden, a pool, and restaurant and good views of the surrounding area. The highlights for us: - the restaurant: this area is home to a number of well known ingredients of the Italian kitchen: it is the land of Parmigiano Reggiano, but also of truffle, the pastas from Emilia Romagna (I would argue the best region for pasta) and not to forget the Aceto Balsamico di Modena. The owner produces his own and had us taste one that was 26 years old. All these ingredients come together in the restaurant where we enjoyed some great dinners. - the surrounding area is unique for Italy (and we have traveled there a lot): lovely flowing hills covered with fields and forests, winding roads (yes, sometimes a bit narrow but nothing to worry about) connecting small villages. It is a pleasure to drive around, see the nature and have cappuccino or lunch in a nearby village. A definite plus is the presence of an EV charging pole (colonetta) ate the premises. Dogs are allowed.

An enchanting place, where you can feel the care and love. If you're looking for a location surrounded by greenery where you can find peace and tranquility, this is the right place. Our room was changed but replaced with an almost equivalent one. The staff is truly friendly. The guy who takes care of the pool, etc., always greeted us with a smile and is very kind. Pinuccia makes you feel at home. The highlight, however, is Ettore ♥️ We will definitely be back.

A magnificent place for those seeking a few days of tranquility, a true gem in such a remote location. A perfectly renovated 18th-century villa, with rooms preserved as they once were, echoing the site's history. Unique views can also be enjoyed from the heated pool. The apartment is beautiful and spacious; we stayed in the main house, in the purple apartment (each apartment is perfectly decorated with a different dominant color). Impeccably clean and with attention to detail. There's a coffee machine available, with a few regular and decaf coffee capsules. It's a shame the villa's restaurant was closed when we stayed, but upon our arrival, the owners were kind enough to prepare a platter and desserts, so we didn't have to look for a place to dine. Before leaving, I recommend checking whether the villa's restaurant is open and bringing your own food to avoid these inconveniences. Local restaurants aren't always open, and there aren't many. However, you'll need to drive, and the roads to get there aren't the best, winding and often narrow. It's a place to relax for a few days without traveling too far, enjoying the garden and pool. Breakfast was mostly sweet, and the homemade pastries were all wonderful; it's a shame the coffee, for my taste, wasn't the best. Special mention goes to Mrs. Pinuccia, who prepared and served us breakfast: she was obliging and literally pampered us the entire time, offering us tips for sightseeing and dining. Having someone like her, smiling and available to guests, is essential in a place like this, and it makes you want to return because she makes you feel right at home. It's definitely an experience worth having, and I recommend it. It's also an excellent location for weddings.

Excellent location for a relaxing holiday. The heated pool is top notch. Mrs. Pinuccia and the entire staff are very courteous and knowledgeable.

A beautiful weekend in a well-kept place that exudes peace and tranquility. The room/apartment was spacious, clean, and well-furnished. The restaurant offers quality dishes. We had planned to have dinner only one of the two evenings at the Corte Marini restaurant, but we ended up staying for the second dinner as well...and what a dinner! The staff were kind and friendly! We'll definitely be back!!

I think it's the most refined and solid establishment in the Modena Apennines. I call it a restaurant because it would be an understatement. Spectacular location, a sublimely restored ancient village, where beauty and order reign supreme. We spent a day split between the pool (heated and with a beautiful view) and the restaurant. Truly good food, attentive service, excellent wine selection. Fried tortellini with parmesan cream, something to savour at the table 🤩 My sincere compliments to the owners and staff, always kind and attentive to providing top-notch service!!

We stayed at Antica Corte Casa Marini using a Smartbox. We couldn't have chosen a better place! The relais is splendid; our room (apartment) was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the heated outdoor pool and their restaurant (the food was delicious). We hope to return soon!

We spent a truly relaxing weekend immersed in the Modena hills. The welcome was impeccable, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. We ate very well at their à la carte restaurant, and the value was excellent. Recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and quiet weekend.
