02/02/2026: Nice place and very friendly staff. Delicious food. We spent just under €60 for two, including two appetizers, two first courses, water, and dessert.
18/01/2026: We were extremely disappointed with our experience at Picari restaurant in Modena. We had a confirmed reservation through The Fork for 8:00 PM, but we were contacted at 7:30 PM, just half an hour before, to inform us that the restaurant was already full and our reservation had been cancelled. The manager explained this by saying that our reservation through The Fork had been cancelled, likely because there was a discount and the restaurant preferred to give priority to customers paying full price. This behavior is unacceptable, especially so close to our reservation time. We lost time, trust, and an entire evening. For this reason, we are awarding one star and strongly advise against booking at this restaurant through The Fork.

01/01/2026: We went there for lunch today, New Year's Day. Everything was amazing, the pappardelle with wild boar ragù was delicious, the meat dishes were excellent, and the mixed buffet was full of vegetables, cured meats, and more. The crescentine were delicious. The staff were super friendly, the place was welcoming and warm. I highly recommend it!

02/12/2025: Passing through Carpi on Friday evening for work, we looked for a restaurant near the hotel: we wanted to unwind and unwind. Despite the biting cold, we strolled downtown after dinner.
We chose "La Cantinetta": everything was impeccable—a welcoming atmosphere, friendly and knowledgeable staff, excellent service, and top-quality cuisine.
The wine selection is also vast and excellent! It's a shame it's not close by... I would have returned more than once... 🙂

05/03/2026: Traditional Emilian cuisine done very well: flavorful and well-seasoned tagliatelle with prosciutto ragù, tortelloni with an excellent ricotta filling (though they only serve butter and sage), tender sliced Angus beef. Finally, zuppa inglese made just like home. Fast service.
Unfortunately, two things didn't quite live up to the food: the wine was already opened and the lady's acerbic and unfriendly demeanor when making very simple requests. She was very friendly with returning customers, but much less so with us, our first-timers...but that just made us lose out.

01/03/2026: I stayed two nights in Sestola and, on the hotel's recommendation, tried this restaurant. A welcoming place, impeccable service, and a varied menu with excellent homemade dishes made with quality ingredients. Special mention goes to the owner, who was very kind and professional.
I highly recommend this restaurant!
22/02/2026: This is the second time we've stayed at Camping Sestola and we've used the Mattarello Restaurant, and I must say it's consistently 5-star quality, service, and friendliness!
We were a very large group, including adults and children aged 3, 4, and 5!
Excellent food
Impeccable service
So much patience and kindness with our children!
We'll definitely be back!

23/02/2026: I think Persian cuisine is suitable for all palates. Very delicate with unusual combinations. It's one of our favorite places to eat with friends and colleagues. Let the owner recommend you; he'll always know how to surprise you.
08/02/2026: We're finally here! After four years of fantasizing about the magnificence of the place, I can confirm that the 300 km round trip from Brescia to Modena was truly worth it.
The owner was extremely kind and helpful, the atmosphere was truly pleasant, and the food was superb!
Top marks.
One small flaw, perhaps, was the speed of service, but this was justified by the fact that the place was packed and there were only two staff, excluding the kitchen staff.
The dishes were truly flavorful and delicious.
The prices reflect the quality.

PS: The owner CESARE is hilarious.
