01/01/2026: We went there for lunch today, New Year's Day. Everything was amazing, the pappardelle with wild boar ragù was delicious, the meat dishes were excellent, and the mixed buffet was full of vegetables, cured meats, and more. The crescentine were delicious. The staff were super friendly, the place was welcoming and warm. I highly recommend it!

Here, you can eat truly Roman food, without the assembly-line effect that now dominates many restaurants in the area. The difference lies in the quality of the ingredients, a cuisine that doesn't seem designed for TikTok, and above all, the crowd: at the tables, you'll still find Romans and Trasteverians, not just suitcases and endless lines of tourists. And that's already a significant sign. In a neighborhood where many places focus more on quantity than quality, Martino maintains the atmosphere of a true contemporary osteria: welcoming, lively, without becoming a folkloristic caricature. Calling her a hostess would be an understatement: she's a wonderful woman, gifted with uncommon empathy and kindness. She was my perfect "accomplice," helping me to perfectly execute all the surprises I had planned for my partner. Without her support and availability, it wouldn't have been the same. Various types of bread, all strictly homemade, are offered to pass the time while you wait for your food to cook. We'll be back as soon as we have the chance; highly recommended.

The cuisine is excellent: well-executed dishes and a great respect for tradition, without sacrificing the quality of the ingredients. 09/06/2026: We came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We'd been wanting to come for a while since we live near our house! And what can I say? EVERYTHING was delicious, but above all, the hospitality was top-notch! We also came to meet Hassan, but we only found his son, who, compliments, did a fantastic job of filling in for his father! My husband and I had an appetizer of mussels and clams Taranto-style, and they were as good as the ones down there. We also had a cargo del marinaio, everything fresh, the fried fish was crispy and not rubbery like you find at other places, and above all, it was so abundant that the two of us couldn't finish it. Everything was truly delicious, but above all, the welcome was something few restaurants offer. Customer service has become increasingly rare, but here it feels like home! Fantastic, we'll definitely be back to meet the owner, Hassan! Great, come here!!
