04/02/2026: Probably the best restaurant in Modena. A small place next to the Ducal Palace. Just 10 tables. Exquisite food, try the Lambrusco risotto, the homemade desserts...the service is excellent.

12/01/2026: A fantastic discovery in the heart of Modena's historic center, in a charming little square. The elegant, well-lit setting and attentive, professional, and very friendly staff make this a truly delightful experience. The dishes are visually stunning, but the tasting experience confirms the haute cuisine, which is further enhanced by the chef's special touch. We enjoyed the green tagliolini with saffron sauce, tuna ragù, pine nuts, and sultanas. The "Zelmira Nest" is a must-try, a triumph of flavor! The desserts are excellent, served in elegant bowls. We'll definitely be returning to this fantastic restaurant.

12/01/2026: My partner and I ate yesterday after a long break, and unfortunately, the quality of the food has deteriorated. The appetizer was quite good, but the octopus 🐙 was cooked in so much oil that we both felt terrible that night. The nausea hasn't gone away yet. It was too heavy and you could really smell the fried food. I'm sorry, but in a restaurant that's not as cheap as this one, they should pay more attention to the quality of the food.

18/01/2026: It's a magnificent place, where you feel at home. Ludovica is a wonderful hostess, attentive, kind, and always smiling, and surrounded by excellent staff. I've always eaten excellently. Excellent for dinners with family, friends, or events.

17/10/2025: A very rustic trattoria with excellent cuisine and excellent service. The atmosphere is typically trattoria inside, while in the summer, sitting under the wisteria arbour is truly charming! The quality/price ratio is also excellent!

21/12/2025: The traditional Emilian dishes are high-quality, but there are hundreds of typical restaurants in Modena where you can eat just as well or better. The rude service isn't worth a cent of my money; the blonde owner is the complete opposite of the restaurant scene of this era. Maybe 30 years ago it was fine, but it's 2026. If you have to pay more than €45/50 and be treated condescendingly, without meeting the needs of the PAYING customer, in a restaurant that doesn't have the space and acoustics to accommodate a certain number of people and where they instead improvise unsuitable tables, then I confirm that this is not the right place for me.

08/01/2026: A must-visit when in the area, the food is excellent and the friendly atmosphere makes you feel at home. I personally had the tortellini in broth, which were spectacular, and the grilled duck, which was also a real treat. I recommend it to everyone, especially truffle and mushroom lovers (although you can also order dishes without, like mine). The price is excellent for what you get, both in terms of quantity and quality.

06/01/2026: The appetizers, first courses, side dishes, and desserts were spectacular!!! Mushrooms, truffles, tortellini...but the meats were special! Guinea fowl, lamb, tartare, tagliata...everything was top-notch. The ingredients were excellent. We didn't stay overnight, as it wasn't far, but we thought about this beautiful location on a snowy Sunday evening...

11/01/2026: We immediately had a positive impression from the phone call to make a reservation. They were organized and available to provide directions to the slopes. We booked a table with a high chair reserved for our baby. The elegant venue features helpful and qualified wait staff. Excellent food and good value. The terrace with a panoramic view is very beautiful. Recommended!

09/11/2025: Discovered by chance, they seated us for lunch even though it was almost closing time, with our dog in tow, so definitely a plus for the hospitality and helpfulness. The place is very nicely presented, with a quiet and discreetly elegant atmosphere. The appetizer was gnocco, with a small flaw: the fried gnocco was slightly greasy, but that may have been because it was made just for us on the spot. The quality of the dough was nothing to complain about, very light and tasty, so I don't consider it to have influenced the overall rating of the food; moreover, the accompanying prosciutto was of remarkable quality. The first courses were truly exceptional: very flavorful cappelletti in broth, presented in a cup, and lasagna with fresh pasta was truly delicious and well-balanced. The portions are generous. The prices are absolutely reasonable. We'll definitely return.

02/11/2025: The pumpkin tortelli were excellent. The porcini mushroom caps were a bit dry and could have been seasoned better. Lunch was somewhat disrupted by the couple at the next table who got into a heated argument. The waiters' service was quick and friendly.
