30/05/2026: We had lunch at this restaurant, with a shared appetizer of cured meats, cheeses, fried gnocco, and tigelle. This was followed by passatelli with parmesan cream and a splendid selection of boiled meats and roasts. Everything was delicious, and the service was excellent.

17/05/2026: We dined with a couple of friends last weekend at this restaurant. The atmosphere is refined and elegant, but at the same time, thanks to the extremely friendly staff and impeccable service, you feel right at home. The food is good and plentiful, and is mostly local (the black cherry tart is excellent). My only complaint is that, having ordered the boiled meat and roast trolley, I unfortunately didn't find a match between the roasts listed on the menu (turkey breast, pork loin and shoulder, and guinea fowl) and those actually on the trolley (there were only 2 of the 4, the turkey breast and the roast ham). At the till, we also had a chat with the owner, who was also friendly and very kind. Overall, highly recommended.

15/04/2026: On Sunday, I returned to Garum in Modena for lunch... and every time it's a confirmation: it's not just a restaurant, it's an experience. As soon as you enter, you're greeted by a refined atmosphere, elegant but never cold. You immediately sense that there's a vision behind it, not just cuisine. The service is attentive, precise, yet natural—it makes you feel cared for without ever being intrusive. Then comes the best part: the dishes. Each course is thoughtfully crafted, carefully planned, but above all, captivating. It's not just a matter of taste—it's a complete journey. The aromas arrive before the dish, the presentation is clean and refined, and from the first bite, you understand that every ingredient has a precise meaning. Bold yet balanced flavors, sophisticated combinations that never feel forced. The wine? Carefully chosen. The pairings complement each course, enhancing it without ever overpowering it. You can see the knowledge and passion there, too. What strikes me every time is the consistency: from start to finish, there's not a single moment out of place. Everything flows, everything has a rhythm. Garum isn't your typical "good food" place. It's a place where you sit down and truly enjoy the time, the food, and the experience. I return often, and I will continue to return. Because when you find a level like this... you recognize it immediately.

29/03/2026: Independent cuisine, from garum this acronym says it all. In my opinion, it's the best restaurant in Modena for dishes with an unconventional structure. Combining the theme of fermentation with oriental and Italian cuisine is no easy feat, but they manage it effectively, boldly, concretely, and above all, with integrity and professionalism. The menu changes seasonally, maintaining seasonality within the dishes but making them accessible to all tastes and needs. For me, it's always a win-win for a first date, whether for friends or family.

11/11/2025: A truly excellent meat safe. A family-friendly place. The only flaw is the music being way too loud, forcing diners to shout at each other to be heard, resulting in even more "noise." Really too "noisy."

23/05/2026: The food was very good and the waiters were super attentive and friendly. We were traveling and they didn't understand one thing we ordered, but even though we opened our order, they replaced it without any problem.

06/04/2026: A lovely ice cream shop with outdoor seating that serves melted chocolate in a cone. The quantity of ice cream per cone is minimal, so I give it 4 stars.

07/05/2026: Always excellent lunch, fresh fish and carefully prepared dishes without being overdone. The best nigiri in all of Modena and its province. A quiet atmosphere and friendly service: one of those places you'll want to return to.

03/05/2026: The fish quality is excellent, and there are fewer options compared to the usual ayce restaurants (though not limited), which allows them to maintain a very high level of quality. The place is small, but this also allows you to eat without the usual hustle and bustle.

10/05/2026: The place is fine, and the service was good, even though we were a table of nearly 30 people. The croquettes and montanare were really good, so we had high expectations for the pizza. We were disappointed; despite the vast variety on the menu, it's not comparable to Naples. The dough was raw and unsalted, and some pizzas were too oily. Especially considering the prices, the quality definitely needs to improve.

09/05/2026: For 7, croquettes, water, beers, a super pizza, thin, soft, nice and full, wood-fired... Super. Excellent service and a truly excellent bill.

02/06/2026: I went there today for lunch for the first time. The typical Emilian cuisine was spectacular. The appetizers were delicious, the first courses were generous, and the second course was gnocco fritto and tigelle with mixed cold cuts and cheese platters. Everything was delicious. We were happy, and when I return to Modena, I'll definitely be back. I forgot to mention the friendly and helpful staff. Congratulations, 10 out of 10. Highly recommended.

01/06/2026: In the heat, for Sunday lunch, we headed out to the cool air... towards Pavullo... to the Ca'Venturelli restaurant. We found a warm welcome... as if we were friends... extremely hospitable!! The atmosphere is classic, rustic, mountain-style... just the way we like it... and you can also eat outside, under the greenery! Traditional food... first courses, meat, gnocchi, and tigelle... all excellent and plentiful... at a more than fair price... a must try!!

07/06/2026: Divine experience. Yesterday we returned to the restaurant after a couple of years, and the quality of the food is still top-notch. The Burlenghi was finger-licking good, and then we continued with a mixed platter, their sausages and cheeses, which accompanied delicious fried gnocchi and tigelle. Some people also ordered the tortellini, and they were truly delicious. Attentive and courteous service. Price around €30 per person, including water, dessert, and coffee.
