29/10/2025: the main dish i got, the chicken cacciatore was quite good.
the atmosphere is cozy and snug and the place has a homey feel to it with the checked table cloths.
the service here is very warm and welcoming, the waiter was always friendly and nice in every interaction. really appreciate him!
the total check came to €30 for the chicken, a fried polenta appetizer which was just so-so, water and a glass of prosecco. this was quite reasonable.
they have an unusual kind of bread with interesting flavors which went well with the stewy chicken dish.

17/11/2025: We went to this place for the first time with some friends. It was quite welcoming and the staff were very friendly. The food was excellent. We had a lovely evening. We tried the salads and the combo of a sandwich, fries, and a drink. The staff were very friendly. I recommend it.

Excellent food, perfectly proportioned portions that allow you to try multiple dishes without feeling full quickly, house specialties, and fairly fast service.
The waiters are all helpful and polite, and the parking lot is very large.
The location is very beautiful and comfortable.
The price indicated per person in the review refers to a dinner with no additional charges, so just a set menu, cover charge, and a bottle of water.
Highly recommended.

10/12/2025: What's tastier than hot fried gnocco accompanied by excellent prosciutto? The sight is captivating, as the fat becomes transparent when it melts with the heat of the gnocco, creating an explosion of flavor: try it and believe it.
And so, admiring the foliage of the Modena Apennines, we arrive in a small town near Fanano, in a wide valley overlooking the snow-capped peak of Cimone. We're in Trentino, we notice the sign for "Trattoria - Locanda Romana" and decide to turn off the main road to reach our destination after a couple of kilometers. Mushrooms all year round...and local specialties are the prominent signs, and we can only confirm this experience positively. Excellent value.

06/12/2025: The pizza is hilarious. You can still see the streaks from the spoon that spread the tomato sauce. You can count the mozzarella from the far end. I had an eggplant pizza, and there were very few. Total disappointment. The only positive note was the appetizer. The prices are crazy for the pizza they serve.

04/10/2025: Small restaurant in the center of Mirandola, quiet location. The decor is modern and elegant, with seafood accents, given the predominance of seafood dishes. The menu changes regularly to offer something new. Very discreet and efficient service, with reasonable wait times, especially since it's a pleasant place to relax, allowing you to chat without being disturbed or disturbing others. The dishes are beautifully presented and the ingredients are excellent, clearly demonstrating the passion and care they put into their creations. Well done. The prices are affordable, nothing over the top.

03/12/2025: We came in at 1:30 PM, ordered, and at 2:05 PM, the smartphone ordering table was closed because the kitchen closed. So the waiter takes the last order.
They also charged my 5-year-old daughter for the reduced menu, even though she slept the whole time in the stroller. They said she sat down as soon as she arrived at the restaurant. The competition is fierce. You won't see me again. For 10 euros, you lost a customer and many others.
22/11/2025: One of the best of its kind in the provinces of Bologna and Modena. Wide selection, delicious food, friendly and fast service. The atmosphere is refined and welcoming. Definitely worth a try.

14/12/2025: I'm giving one star for a simple reason: I personally saw the owner take the small plates of leftover lard from other tables (the ones for tigelle where other customers had eaten) and pour it into the main container used to refill the new tables. Essentially, any unfinished food at one table ended up at yours; from a hygiene standpoint, I don't think that's very legal.
29/11/2025: The rosettes and tortelloni were excellent. The stewed guanciale and the tagliata were also good. The only thing was that the wine was a little too cold.
I'll be back.
