04/04/2026: Inedible pizza, too much oil added. I had a buffalo mozzarella and it had more tomato than mozzarella (two slices). To be precise, tomato soaked in the pizza. This place is a tourist trap, better elsewhere. Rude staff, especially at the cash register.

04/04/2026: Bad experience: a pizza full of tomato sauce. The salami and gorgonzola pizza didn't specify whether it was spicy, while the others were. To top it off, since there were four of us, we wanted a separate bill. The clerk, without even asking or even letting us speak, issued a single receipt, insisting there was nothing more he could do. Moral of the story: terrible pizza and rude staff. Avoid.

15/04/2026: On Sunday, I returned to Garum in Modena for lunch... and every time it's a confirmation: it's not just a restaurant, it's an experience. As soon as you enter, you're greeted by a refined atmosphere, elegant but never cold. You immediately sense that there's a vision behind it, not just cuisine. The service is attentive, precise, yet natural—it makes you feel cared for without ever being intrusive. Then comes the best part: the dishes. Each course is thoughtfully crafted, carefully planned, but above all, captivating. It's not just a matter of taste—it's a complete journey. The aromas arrive before the dish, the presentation is clean and refined, and from the first bite, you understand that every ingredient has a precise meaning. Bold yet balanced flavors, sophisticated combinations that never feel forced. The wine? Carefully chosen. The pairings complement each course, enhancing it without ever overpowering it. You can see the knowledge and passion there, too. What strikes me every time is the consistency: from start to finish, there's not a single moment out of place. Everything flows, everything has a rhythm. Garum isn't your typical "good food" place. It's a place where you sit down and truly enjoy the time, the food, and the experience. I return often, and I will continue to return. Because when you find a level like this... you recognize it immediately.

29/03/2026: Independent cuisine, from garum this acronym says it all. In my opinion, it's the best restaurant in Modena for dishes with an unconventional structure. Combining the theme of fermentation with oriental and Italian cuisine is no easy feat, but they manage it effectively, boldly, concretely, and above all, with integrity and professionalism. The menu changes seasonally, maintaining seasonality within the dishes but making them accessible to all tastes and needs. For me, it's always a win-win for a first date, whether for friends or family.

13/04/2026: I recently ate at Asian Fusion Nuova Stella and I have to say it was a truly fantastic experience! The restaurant is modern, clean, and meticulously maintained. It's obvious it's been renovated, creating a truly pleasant atmosphere. The sushi is excellent: fresh fish, beautifully presented dishes, and truly balanced flavors. The sashimi in particular is spectacular, incredibly fresh, and melts in your mouth. The menu is varied, with many interesting options beyond the classic sushi. Perfect for those who want to play it safe or try something different. The service was fast, and the staff was friendly and helpful, always ready to help and advise. The price/quality ratio was also excellent considering the quality of the food and the overall experience. Definitely one of the best sushi restaurants in the area. I'll definitely be back! 🍣🔥

18/03/2026: Fun experience. The place, from the outside, looks terrible—a small, poorly maintained garage in a less than attractive area. The menu... risotto with smoked eel, which we didn't see, but instead, unexpectedly, the rice was swimming in horseradish...now, I hate it, if I'd known...The service was friendly and fast, but that's about it. Maybe Bottura...at least he made us laugh out loud.

17/03/2026: A rewarding and top-notch experience. We opted for the 7-course tasting menu, and it didn't disappoint. On the contrary, vegetables are the stars of these delicious and highly successful dishes. The Emilia burger (extra) is truly delicious! Special mention goes to the dining room staff, who contributed to this wonderful evening with their service.

15/03/2026: Dinner based on gnocco and tigelle, except one person in six who chose a traditional menu, two bottles of house Lambrusco, some desserts and coffee and a couple of liqueurs, bill of 240 euros (40 EURO PER PERSON). Thanks for the welcome but you will not see me again.

14/03/2026: Beautiful location, and both the tortelloni and the gramigna pasta with ragù are delicious. The Crescentine are excellent, thin and crispy. The service is impeccable. The overall price is slightly higher than average for a farmhouse restaurant, but the quality and location justify it. Recommended.

06/04/2026: We stopped here for lunch during the Camino dell'Unione and the choice was largely rewarded, very tasty and totally local dishes, with handmade pasta and excellent wine, the owner is very kind and made us feel at home

20/01/2026: I can only have good reviews and fond memories of this place. Antonio and Valerio have always been the number one choice for coffee, cappuccino, and pastries on Viale Gramsci and the surrounding area. For the nearly thirty years I lived on Via Toniolo, I had breakfast there almost every morning, as well as buying cigarettes for my mother and her partner. Their kindness, courtesy, and friendliness, which was obviously reciprocated, will always remain in my heart, especially since the days of the excellent Roberta coffee. As soon as I return to Modena, I'll stop by.

24/03/2026: I hadn't booked, it's true, and it was busy, but they did have a table or two available, but since I was alone, they told me they were full. I understand that a table for four people earns more than a table for one. I would have liked to try the menu, it looked very good, but I'll never know.

24/03/2026: The food is good, good quality for the reasonable prices. The only shame is the inattentive service... I asked several times for oil and vinegar, which were spectacularly forgotten, along with my Coke. But the staff remains helpful.
