It's already been written... a timeless place, like opening a closet door to the world of Narnia. An occasional visitor during our visits to Sant'Orsola, but captivated by the microcosm of regulars who make you feel at home. The owners, whom my thirty-year-old daughter calls "grandparents," have great respect for these octogenarians who are still at it. I expect one day to find Pupi Avati sitting in a corner of the dining room or under the magical veranda writing the screenplay for one of his films. The cast is already there... I forgot to mention this for the review... Luisa at the coffee machine makes the best cappuccinos in Bologna, Gianni at the pastries and sandwiches will probably give you a (homemade) brioche or a sandwich like so many cafés do, but few do it with his smile. May the Lord keep you like this.

29/12/2025: This year, too, I bought panettone as gifts for special people and to celebrate with family. Excellent as always, both the traditional panettone and the pistachio and chocolate one are incredible for me. Throughout the year, I always order the taralli, which are truly fantastic, including the Neapolitan ones, the schiacciate, and the pastries for weekend breakfasts. The ladies at the counter are always very kind and warmly welcome both regular and new customers. The artisans of these delicious treats can be seen at work, along with their precious collaborators, in the laboratory through the window overlooking the street. Thank you for the passion you put into your work and which you convey through the delicious things you sell.
19/12/2025: The quality of the products this artisan bakery produces is unquestionable. I'd especially recommend the crescentine with prosciutto, available year-round. This Christmas season, the certosino and panone bolognese deserve a special mention. The kindness, courtesy, and professionalism of the staff is unparalleled. Furthermore, the workshop is fully visible, demonstrating the quality and transparency of the products offered. A small indoor dining room has recently been opened where you can enjoy your purchases while sitting comfortably.

26/12/2025: They're very good and friendly, even with the food. It's an underrated place. You can also eat really well and quickly, while grabbing a beer on the go.
29/10/2025: We always choose the bar that most resembles us, the one that makes us feel welcomed, wanted. I love all the bars in Cyrenaica, but for me, Bar Alessia is unbeatable.
