It was created for piadina, of course... but the burgers they make here are truly amazing! 💣🔥 A friend of mine from Gambettola and I often get them for takeout, and every time it's guaranteed to be a blast. We've tried several, and I'll tell you one thing: don't make any changes. Trust me. Each sandwich has been "tested" by the pig—just kidding, of course 😂—that is, the owner, who studied and balanced them to perfection. The result? Amazing burgers, a true delight! The quality is evident in everything: excellent ingredients, perfect combinations, flavorful meat, and perfect cooking. I also brought a dear friend from Cesena here, someone who really knows about grilled food and burgers... well, he was thrilled. So much so, that he's been back several times on his own because he loved them so much! A simple, sincere place, where the food is amazing and you can taste the passion of the people who work there. Keep it up guys: we love you! ❤️🔥

29/10/2025: I don't know if it was the hunger from the bike ride, but the taleggio and pancetta piadina was out of this world! Young and friendly people, fast service, and more than fair prices. Nice outdoor terrace plus a small indoor dining room.

05/10/2025: The occasion was an informal dinner with a group of colleagues. What struck me immediately was the welcoming and kindness of the staff; I felt at home. I really appreciated the fragrance and freshness of the piadinas, and the tortelli with ricotta and spinach were also excellent.

14/12/2025: Super friendly service. Bathrooms were very clean. The food was absolutely impeccable, though I would recommend to skip the desserts - they were not so great. The savory stuff, though, I would eat again any day. Amazing restaurant. Worth the visit if in Ferrara.

12/12/2025: I had lunch with my wife at Mandolino and it was a true culinary experience, increasingly rare these days. The restaurant is well-maintained, and the attention to detail reveals a strong passion that, consequently, permeates the dishes. We had pappardella all'asina (excellent!), cappellacci with pumpkin, and pollo alla cacciatora with polenta. The wine and zuppa inglese were also excellent. The owner is very friendly!

23/09/2025: I visited the castle on Saturday at 2:00 PM and made an appointment for 12:30 PM via WhatsApp, using a number I got online. I could also have chosen to have lunch with them, featuring traditional products. The organization is thorough and fast. The tour lasts about an hour and you see the entire castle inside. Price: €8 + €5 for the guide (who is well worth it!). There are many rooms, and there's no furniture. Beautiful views.

23/09/2025: Castello di Torrechiara is incredible. Built in the 1400s by Pier Maria Rossi as both a fortress and a love story for Bianca Pellegrini, it has been beautifully preserved. Walking through the frescoed halls and the famous Golden Chamber is a real highlight. The tour lasts about 45 minutes to an hour which is just the right amount of time to take it all in. What makes the visit even better is the small village that sits right on the castle property up the hill. There is a restaurant, wine tasting, and a few places to relax, and it feels like stepping back into another time. The combination of the castle and the little hamlet makes this well worth the drive from Parma and a perfect way to spend part of the day.
