So beautiful!! you arrive by bike or on foot, immersed in the valley so much that it seems to be out of this world. we had a good lunch, super fresh fish and friendly, familiar service.

Informal place but out of the ordinary.... To reach the car park you drive along a dirt road and then wait for the boat to come and pick you up. Family run, an oasis of peace amidst the nature of the lagoon of the Comacchio valleys. Genuine and simple dishes where you can enjoy the authentic flavors of the dishes. For those who like to disconnect from stress and confusion this is the right place.

It's not a nice restaurant but a nice experience you park the car they pick you up by boat to cross the canal in the middle of the balances excellent welcome good food EXCELLENT the eel I will be back

Sunny Sunday at the end of January 2024, and even though it's cold, I try to call this place which, at a guess, should be a gem... They find a place for me, in the large room, both for the three of us and for the our two Cavalier dogs (how lucky, given the late hour...) and once we get there I can confirm that this place is truly a gem, and in spring and summer it will certainly be an even more enjoyable paradise! Let's start by saying that the food is excellent (the eel is the best and leanest I've ever eaten, and I've eaten some, believe me...), the prices are honest on a simple but very satisfying menu, and the people they are very pleasant and approachable... Rina's daughter (who is the historical memory of the place) and her daughter-in-law are in the kitchen, Rina's son-in-law does his job very well in the dining room, and finally Davide, the another son of Rina, he helps his brother-in-law in the dining room, when he is not called to ferry the people who come to this paradise, because here the cars stop on the other side of the canal, full of houses and fishing nets, and in the sky they are hearing the seagulls arguing with the herons, while a dozen splendid peacocks run in the meadows surrounding the house that hosts us... and in the courtyard in front of the entrance, now empty tables make us imagine splendid summer lunches outdoors. Always book and above all remember that in the low season they are only open on weekends!

Domenica di sole di fine gennaio 2024, e anche se è freddo, provo a chiamare questo luogo che, a occhio e croce, dovrebbe essere una chicca...Mi trovano il posto, nell'ampia sala, sia per noi tre che per i nostri due cani Cavalier (che fortuna, vista l'ora tarda...) e arrivato li vi confermo che questo posto è proprio una chicca, e in primavera ed estate sarà di certo un paradiso ancora più godibile! Iniziamo col dire che il cibo è ottimo (l'anguilla è la migliore e la più magra che abbia mai mangiato, e ne ho mangiate, credetemi...), i prezzi sono onesti su un menù semplice ma molto soddisfacente, e le persone sono molto piacevoli e alla mano...La figlia di Rina (che è la memoria storica del locale) e la nuora della medesima sono in cucina, il genero di Rina in sala fa molto bene il suo lavoro, e infine Davide, l'altro figlio di Rina, aiuta in sala il cognato, quando non è chiamato a traghettare le persone che vengono in questo paradiso, perchè qui le macchine si fermano al di la del canale, pieno di casoni e reti da pesca, e nel cielo si fan sentire i gabbiani che litigano con gli aironi, mentre una dozzina di splendidi pavoni corrono nei prati circostanti la casa che ci ospita... e nella corte davanti all'ingresso, tavolate ora vuote fanno immaginare splendidi pranzi estivi all'aperto. Prenotare sempre e soprattutto ricordatevi che in bassa stagione sono aperti solo nei week end!

Spending Christmas lunch with the family in this oasis was a wonderful experience: the welcome with boat transport to the island where the farmhouse is located was an excellent surprise. Friendly hospitality and genuine cuisine were much appreciated. Congratulations and best wishes.

Very informal, family-run place. Stopped by chance once while I was on my way to photograph the surrounding area, and then returned for lunch 2 more times. Every time it was a growing surprise. Catch of the day, sometimes prawns, or crabs or fresh scallops..or eel..anyway, in any case I ate very well. Fresh white wine, discreet cellar, without too many labels, but essential. Garden with tall trees, hammocks, benches... for a nap after lunch... Very nice

O mangiato benissimo di ottima qualità, camerieri bravissimi speso il gusto ci vediamo presto passaggio con battello fichissimo 👍👋👋
