24/11/2025: We chose Moon Korean restaurant for a Saturday lunch, finding it easily within a shopping complex. The atmosphere immediately struck us: the interior is modern, refined, and well-decorated, creating a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. The wooden tables, though set with a simple plastic placemat (practical and functional), are equipped with the characteristic stove for tableside cooking, promising an authentic experience. Our culinary journey began with two appetizers: · The kimchi omelette, a delight with a balanced flavor: the delicateness of the egg met the slightly spicy and acidic note of the kimchi in a perfect pairing. · The Moon Mandu shrimp dumplings, which proved truly delicious: a savory yet delicate filling, where the shrimp's flavor stood out in all its freshness from the first bite. For main courses, we opted for: · Fried chicken sautéed in a soy, garlic, and ginger sauce. The meat was incredibly tender, and the crispy, light breading was the perfect vehicle for a rich, well-balanced sauce, where the ginger didn't overpower but rather harmonized the flavors. The classic kimbap with beef and vegetables transported us back to the flavors we experienced in Korea. Simply excellent, with high-quality ingredients and an authentic, genuine flavor. A special mention goes to the shrimp skewers, a dish we highly recommend: beautiful to look at and even better to taste. In conclusion, if you love Korean cuisine or are curious to discover it, Moon Restaurant is the right choice. The experience was completed by the extremely kind staff and the consistently attentive, fast, and knowledgeable service. We will definitely be back to explore the rest of the menu and, last but not least, to try their table-cooked meat!

20/11/2025: I stumbled upon this place by chance, simply because it was close to my accommodation... and it turned out to be a delightful discovery. The atmosphere is welcoming, informal, and truly gives you the feeling of being among friends. I returned several times during my stay, tasting the truly delicious pizza and also having the opportunity to try the homemade appetizers and first courses. I must say, I was amazed by the quality and deliciousness... and I say this as someone who makes fresh pasta professionally! I always finished with dessert, and with the bill, I was always offered a digestif as a courtesy: a simple but much appreciated gesture. If you're looking for a place without the pretensions of "chic," but where you can eat well, authentically, in a relaxed and casual atmosphere, this is the place. When I return to the area, I'll definitely stop by again to enjoy some more delicious dishes. 🍽️✨

The enchanting location and convivial atmosphere make this restaurant a must-visit for anyone seeking traditional products and innovative recipes. The staff works in perfect harmony and coordination. I recommend the poached egg with Jerusalem artichoke and recommend following the staff's suggestions to best choose your delicacy. The transparency in listing suppliers is greatly appreciated. We'll definitely be back!

You can reserve a table for a large group or for a more intimate and quiet evening. On the downside, perhaps some of the waiters aren't always able to hide their emotions and show a bit of disappointment, but nothing serious: they remain friendly and always try to offer customers something to eat.

16/12/2025: A lovely place where there are still traces of the stable it once was. We tried three starters, all of which were delicious: the duck ragù was excellent. The pumpkin tortelli and cappelletti in broth were delicious. The waitress was good at explaining the dishes and the salami to us.

12/12/2025: There are many reasons to choose this restaurant. The lunch menu (menu fisso) offers a generous selection of first and second courses for €15, along with water, wine, and coffee. See the attached photo from today. In terms of quality and variety, it far surpasses the offerings in the neighboring town of Poggio Renatico. The evening menu was also impressive, but naturally not as inexpensive due to local pricing. The clientele is predominantly local, who don't seem to mind the narrow road. I always hope I don't encounter a truck on the road. The ambiance is excellent, and the service is very attentive. In short: highly recommended!

22/09/2025: We had lunch. We arrived at 3:00 PM and were kindly welcomed despite the hour. We trusted the host, and I must admit, the house red wine was truly excellent. We shared a crostini, and it was cooked to perfection, with good quality and fresh ingredients. The meat was cooked to our request, and it was a pleasure to eat, truly exquisite and tasty. I will definitely be back. It's a shame I didn't eat there sooner.

15/11/2025: Villa Meraville, or rather, Villa San Martino, the residence's historic name, is a place where, upon crossing the threshold, you become an aristocrat from a bygone era. The structure's architecture, the interiors, the restaurant, and the treatment reserved for guests by Laura, the elegant, discreet, and attentive manager, make your stay a suspended experience, removed from the external context, immersive, and enhanced, in my case, by the choice of room: "Beauty and the Beast," a completely reductive name for a classicist masterpiece painted on a domed ceiling by a delicate and powerful artist, who created it for himself, and no one else. The only thing you reproached yourself for in the morning was closing your eyes, denying yourself the view of that landscape, both natural and intangible, that you would leave behind once your stay was over. The privilege of sleeping in a 150-year-old work of art is not afforded by the most luxurious of hotels. For this reason, as long as possible, I suggest all lovers of beauty not to deprive themselves of this opportunity! Loredana M.

01/11/2025: We went to Romanzo and absolutely loved everything! The restaurant is elegant yet welcoming, with young, friendly staff and attentive service. The dishes are beautifully presented and full of flavor—the fried zucchini flowers, polenta sticks, and macaroni al pettine are all excellent. The grilled meats are excellent, and the desserts are fantastic (the tiramisu is highly recommended). You can taste the passion in the kitchen, and the atmosphere is relaxed. One of the best restaurants we've tried in Carpi!

Of course, you need to arrive very hungry given the portions. Everything I've tried is definitely worth it, and you can tell it's run by experienced people.
