05/07/2025: While the service was good, the quantity on the plates was not. And an inopportune charge of 8 euros for the cover, which we had to dispute, reduced it to 3 euros per person. The Carbonara nel tortellone was better than the famous Tagliatelle al ragù.

14/06/2025: I used to go there on a lunch break, with satisfaction, I tried it this Saturday evening for two. We had the Argentine grill, vegetables, potatoes, then for dessert black forest and delicious zuppa inglese, with liquor dosed just right. Offered by the house samples of focaccia, crostini, and very good liquorice, melon and limoncello liqueurs. Delicious, you can taste the flavor not the sugar. Family run, very kind, they take care of customers, excellent service. Highly recommended.

23/06/2025: I ate Venchi ice cream, I have to say it was good but the price was very high. A regular cone, therefore normal with sprinkles and a cuddle on the outside of the cone for 6.50, a real steal, I won't be going back again.

15/06/2025: Rich menu and really good mushroom and truffle dishes. Friendly service. The only flaw is the lighting in the room, in my opinion soft but very poor, perhaps improved at least with a light on the table to see what you are eating. Even to go to the parking lot the steps area is in the dark. In any case, a place to try and definitely return. I returned during the day and I strongly advise against it in this period because it is beastly hot and the premises do not have air conditioning or fans.

04/05/2025: I had dinner at this restaurant on Friday evening and was pleasantly surprised by everything! Crazy location, very high quality of dishes, and the friendliness of the owner is priceless. 04/04/2025: Ieri sera con mio marito abbiamo cenato nel nostro ristorante preferito già da anni… ma ogni volta è ancora una scoperta.. il couscous che il mitico Chef Rosario ha preparato è a dir poco eccezionale.. oltre a tutto il resto che come sempre è ottimo.. provare x credere .. grazie Rosario e Ale 👍👏👏👏 a presto! 29/05/2025: Refined and welcoming place. Attentive and dedicated service. Fabulous paella with both meat and fish. It seems to taste Spain! Etiquette is at home here... even just for an after dinner chat with new people.

19/06/2025: My partner and I went there for dinner and we had a great time. Very good food and super high quality, not to mention the super particular and detailed explanation of the wines. Especially because it was done by Mr. Nicola who pampered us all evening. Top service and perfect location. We thank the maitre Nicola again because with his dedication to the customers he made our evening even more special.

02/06/2025: Sono stato ieri a pranzo dopo aver fatto la visita al magnifico e affascinante castello!!! La location del ristorante è carina ma di antico non ha nulla infatti è stata costruita recentemente. Porzioni scarse, antipasti tipici piacentini di scarsa qualità (conosco bene il territorio che frequento da anni e vi assicuro che gli affettati piacentini davvero buoni non sono di certo quelli mangiati ieri). I ravioli (5 di numero) nulla di che e il risotto insipido e stracotto. Ci si alza con la fame anche perché non si è ispirati a prendere altre portate per via della scarsa qualità, l’attesa molto lunga (anche della tecnica di realizzazione) e per il costo eccessivo. Infine anche l’accoglienza è fredda e non è tipicamente quella emiliana/piacentina.

28/04/2025: Ristorante bellissimo, ambientazione stupenda e piatti super ricercati : ma "fuori tema" per le famiglie che vivono la fiaba nel bosco! Noi siamo stati al parco delle fiabe prima e poi alla taverna coi nostri bimbi per rendere ancora più eccezionale la giornata. A dire la verità di piatti semplici per bambini ce ne sono pochi e il luogo è molto elegante, i camerieri in smoking... noi ci siamo sentiti fuori luogo ad entrare sudati e accaldati con gli scarponi da trekking (richiesti per le attività) dopo "la battaglia nel bosco"... Pensavamo fosse "tutto collegato" o comunque ideato per le famiglie che vogliono incorniciare la giornata "medioevale" dalla mattina pranzo compresdo. Invece no, il ristorante è come se fosse stellato, di alta classe. Abbiamo speso moltissimo (quasi €20 di coperto in 4 con i bimbi sotto i 6anni!!!) e mangiato poco. Insomma ci é sembrato "distaccato" da tutto il resto, bellissimo se fosse a sé stante o in un castello principesco ma lo abbiamo trovato "fuori luogo" nell' unico castello in Italia dove i bambini e le loro famiglie vivono un' esperienza stupenda come il bosco delle fiabe! Avremmo preferito un ambiente più rustico e familiare con piatti semplici. Quindi consigliamo alle famiglie che vivono il bosco delle fiabe di portarsi il pranzo al sacco sia per spendere meno, sia per non sentirsi a disagio in un luogo di lusso dopo una scarpinata nei boschi che per mangiare di più. 02/06/2025: I had a cappuccino (very good) and a bottle of water. I was served after the locals because I arrived before them. I sat on the terrace with a book. There was literally no one there. Not even 20 minutes after sitting down, when I hadn't finished my coffee and water, I was asked to leave to free up the terrace for two people even though there was room inside and also on the terrace by grouping the chairs. I find that very unfortunate because I would have liked to have lunch there and I was waiting for the rest of my family. The terrace is, however, very pretty.

02/07/2025: Great restaurant, some remarkable dishes. Excellent quality-price ratio, for an osteria the dishes lack a bit of quantity. The desserts are explained too quickly. Sometimes photos would be useful to understand the dishes. Highly recommended. Quiet place just a stone's throw from the city and the traffic. I didn't understand the background music... But that's my limit.

29/06/2025: we did the modern tasting menu and it was a fantastic experience (at a reasonable price at that). We loved the food, atmosphere, and service. The two “primi piati” we has rank at the top of the ones we have ever tasted (the burger had some ver surprising notes too). Overall 10/10; definitely want to come back

18/06/2025: One of the worst services I have seen in a while. We got the small tasting menu with wine pairing which took 2.5 hours to complete. It took 5 mins to eat a dish - the rest was the waiting time in between, making us lose our motivation and appetite. The synchronisation was also off with wine coming way before or after the meal itself. The food was good but didn’t make a strong impression. We were on the high rise chairs and even there were tables available, they didn’t offer them, making us wait uncomfortably for food for hours. The waiters rattled about the dishes with rush, sometimes in italian and other times in English without caring about which language we speak, and ran away the moment they spit out the last word. Extremely disappointing for a €200 dinner. We won’t be coming again.

08/06/2025: The pizza is really very good, the dough has a consistency and a flavor that alone, even without considering the ingredients, are worthy. The filling is also abundant, so everything is perfect. I express my extreme respect also for the respect for the customer that they have shown by staying open until late after a concert at the nearby Campovolo and offering customers the same prices as the normal price list, without being "smart" by taking advantage of events to deceptively review the prices upwards. Also commendable is the courtesy and availability shown by the staff, from the lady at the cash register to the pizza chef, despite the hustle and bustle and the inconvenient hour. THANK YOU!
