Antica Osteria di Borghetto In Piacenza

We found it by searching Google because we were in the Piacenza Expo area for the toy fair. We based our review on it, as they were all very good. What can we say? A surprising discovery. Located in the hamlet of Borghetto, this trattoria offers a variety of dishes, including many typical Piacenza dishes. We had the cured meats with fried gnocco called chisulén, which were truly delicious. We continued with the first course par excellence, Pisarei e fasö (10/10), and a less typical but equally delicious dish, spaghetti with squid ink, scampi, and asparagus. To finish, we sampled two traditional desserts, a crumble cake and a büslan (doughnut), accompanied by a fantastic zabaglione cream and a mascarpone cream, equally good, but the zabaglione one was the best. We washed it all down with two glasses of prosecco and two glasses of water. The bill was average. We will definitely return if we ever find ourselves in the Piacenza area again.

I was looking for a restaurant near Piacenza for a reunion with former colleagues and, while browsing Google Maps, I found Antica Trattoria di Borghetto. A perfect choice! 🤩 The Osteria is located in the Piacenza countryside and offers many traditional dishes with some variations on the theme. The restaurant has an outdoor veranda for the summer and several rooms inside. The service is friendly and the quality/price ratio is excellent. The wine selection is interesting, made directly by going to a small room where the bottles are priced, with a fair markup, too. It was also pleasant to chat with the chef and owner Alessio Soressi at the end of the meal, complimenting him on the excellent cuisine. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth a stop.

This restaurant serves well-prepared traditional cuisine. The gnocco fritto is exceptional. The menu also features seafood options. The staff is friendly and helpful. They also have a vast selection of wines.

We had a great time at the tavern with typical Piacenza dishes but also very good innovative ones, the wine cellar was excellent, kind and made us feel at ease, Beatrice and her father were super nice

Located in a small country village with very beautiful (in my opinion) and well-kept rural surroundings. TOP Piacenza cuisine. Definitely worth returning.

We found this beautiful osteria in an old farmhouse a few kilometers from Piacenza. The staff are attentive and welcoming, and the traditional dishes are a must-try: the Pisarei e Fasoi (a type of pasta made with beans) and the Piacenza-style tripe.

Pleasant dinner, enjoyed with a good Pinot from our hills, helpful and friendly staff, this time too it was a confirmation, well done everyone
