In this hotel, you'll be transported back to the late 19th century, immersed in a magical landscape. Francesca was an excellent host, and ending the evening chatting with her in front of the fireplace with a glass of wine was wonderful. If you like retro charm, this is definitely a place worth exploring.

01/12/2025: A place with a soul, where Francesca welcomes you like a friend and makes you feel right at home. For those who love places with history and personality. The room was comfortable, warm, and spotlessly clean, with a beautiful view of the bridge. Breakfast was excellent (with Francesca's homemade peach jam). I wish we could have stayed longer because we really enjoyed our stay.

Mi ci ha portato il mio ragazzo per il nostro primo appuntamento e sono rimasta davvero sorpresa dalla vastissima scelta, ma soprattutto dalla bontà di ciascun panino. 17/08/2025: We wanted to visit the Castello di Montegibbio, but discovered that it was closed at the time of our visit due to Ferragosto. This was a bit disappointing, as we were looking forward to seeing the interior and taking guided tours. 📍 Location & Surroundings ✅ The castle is idyllically situated on a hill, surrounded by green forests and vineyards, with beautiful views of the surrounding area. ✅ Easily accessible by car, although the last few kilometers are a narrow country road. ✅ Parking is available, but sometimes limited when visitors are busy. 🏰 Buildings & Architecture ✅ From the outside, the castle appears impressively well-preserved, with historic walls and towers. ⚠️ Unfortunately, we couldn't visit anything inside because the castle was closed. ✅ The view and the outdoor area of the castle are still perfect for taking photos and strolling. 👥 Service & Information ✅ The staff on site were friendly and were able to provide information about opening hours. ⚠️ No access to tours or interior areas at the time of our visit. 🍽 Dining & Offers ⚠️ Due to the closure, no dining options were available. Conclusion: The Castello di Montegibbio is impressive both scenically and architecturally. However, our visit unfortunately fell on Ferragosto, so we were unable to experience the interior areas. Therefore, only 4 stars, otherwise it would have been a full score.

19/09/2025: A bakery that smells of home and tradition! The erbazzone is one of the best I've ever tasted: rich, well-seasoned, and just the right amount of flavor. The desserts are also top-notch: soft and fragrant cakes, rich in fillings. The staff is friendly and willing to offer advice; you can sense the passion they put into their work. I'll definitely be back!

06/11/2025: I went with my brothers to eat kebab at this great kebab shop, delicious, beautiful, full, cheap and sincere, I will be back very soon.

16/09/2025: The kebab is very good, a little small for the average, with very fresh and unique ingredients (I've never seen grilled vegetables on a kebab, and they really work well). The fries, even for takeout, are really good: thick-cut, crispy, and fragrant. The only downside is that the place can be a little dark, with a few too many flies during the summer months, when the doors are open.

08/12/2025: Lunch break, I exit the highway and ask my friend Google Maps where I can have lunch, he recommends Borgo Castellaccia, when I arrive I think I've got the wrong place, from the outside an almost anonymous farmhouse, I park on the lawn in front, I go in and I'm amazed, well-furnished place and staff who welcome you with kindness, there are various set menus at 17-30-37 €, I see exaggerated dishes pass by and I decide to eat à la carte to take what I can surely finish, I opt for the appetizer of cold cuts and cheeses, it would have easily been enough for two, I split it a little with the wife, special mortadella, then I opt for mutton with baked potatoes, very good and cooked perfectly, the wife had the capelletti in broth, a generous portion, good and with excellent broth, then fillet with green pepper with baked potatoes, warm piadina as much as you want, good house wine, two bottles of water, two coffees and a sambuca, at the end of the meal they gave us free sweets and licorice I happily spent €74, which I consider to be a more than fair price given the quantity and quality of the food served. I will definitely be returning. I've also attached a video of the appetizer from the table next door.

12/09/2025: A very characteristic restaurant in the center of Carpi. The service is attentive and professional. The first courses were very good, as was the quality of the meat, the cooking, and the side dishes. The wine markups were not excessive. Unfortunately, I found it really strange that in a 1.3kg Florentine steak, the fillet was barely 5cm... I've never experienced that before. Nevertheless, it was a good experience; we'll be back in the winter.
