27/07/2025: TOP pizzeria in the province, both by the slice and round, eaten on site even more. Very kind and practical staff, fabulous pizzas, the only flaw is that for the winter the place does not have much space

20/09/2025: I booked a room for one night. Although the reservation was theoretically prepaid with no cancellation option, it turned out that they simply held the room without charge and there was the option to cancel. Useful information for the future. The room was next to the restaurant kitchen as if it were a staff room. Lots of noise from dishes etc. The room door did not close properly because the ground/room had subsided as I was informed and I had to try about 3 times to lock it. The room was dirty. The counter above the bed was full of dust, the bathroom had mold and cracked walls from humidity. The shower was broken and they had put a wooden base so it wouldn't be visible. There were spiders and webs everywhere. We got tired of taking a bath. There was a hair dryer that you couldn't use because neither its own plug nor the extra one it came with fit in the sockets. The room had no light except for 3 lampposts. It had broken walls all around. There were 3 other rooms available that night as I saw online and they chose to give us the dirty one next to the kitchen... I guess the rest were either much worse or they didn't really care. The pool was beyond description, how dirty it was. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned all summer and was just decorative. Overall a disappointment and if I had known that there had been no charge and I could cancel, we would never have come. It was not worth our 92 euros in any case. The food in the restaurant was good, without being anything special. The location is beautiful but we were so disappointed with the room that we didn't feel like enjoying it. Disappointing, that's the only word. I would give it 1 star but I'm adding another one for the location and another one for the staff who were kind (especially the lady at breakfast was amazing, to be fair).

17/09/2025: A magical place… fantastic… and with the charging station in the parking lot… excellent wine and food… a spectacular place to stop and recharge your batteries (in every sense)

03/10/2025: Excellent sushi and Chinese food, but be warned: the portions are generous, so the average person won't be able to eat more than eight things. Trust me. The only problem is that if you're in the main dining room, you can't really talk much. It's a bit noisy. And ordering times can sometimes be a bit long.

07/10/2025: Super breakfast with two buts Dondi has always been my number one place for breakfast, not just in Modena Amazing cappuccino Usually excellent pastries Today, the chocolate braids and the ones with raisins didn't seem as fresh as usual, a hint of dissatisfaction, even though I'm used to the superior quality of this pastry shop where I've been going, albeit intermittently, for decades. There's a second issue: Tables occupied by people who had long since finished eating; it was 9:30. It would be enough to come by and clear the table; it's part of the service. By doing so, those who lack the sensitivity and education to understand that there are people standing, waiting, and standing, eating would probably understand the need to clear the table and make room for those who have a better right to it. These are two points for improvement. Not criticisms. I'm truly sorry not to give Dondi pastry shop the 5 stars it deserves for many reasons, and certainly not just today.

26/09/2025: A very nice little place for breakfast. Savory and sweet specialties. Fair prices and great taste. It seems to be an insider tip, even among the locals. We'd love to go back!

25/09/2025: From ordering to pickup, everything is amazing. They offer delivery, pickup or dine in. They even have an app for easier ordering. And food..I'm without photos. I didn't even manage to take them because it was eaten so fast. Gyozas were one of the best we ever had. And fish was super fresh. As someone who worked in a sushi restaurant for a few years myself, I am picky with fish, but this one, hats off! It was fresh and really well prepared 👌 We come again tomorrow!

18/10/2025: A small restaurant in Croce, located on the main road, serving authentic Romagna cuisine. Simple and reasonably priced (for example, a first course and a roast for €15). Particularly generous portions. We were pleasantly surprised. Next time, we'll try the meat menu!

16/10/2025: Osteria da Menghi. A simple, homey atmosphere, just the way we like it. Very good food and a simple menu with everything you need to savor fish and meat. A children's menu and affordable prices for everyone. Impeccably clean, the manager is courteous and helpful, always attentive to every need. A perfect place for quick lunches and dinners, and suitable for everyone, especially families who can easily bring their children and make them feel at home with games both inside and outside. It's very nice, and it's important to note that the restaurant is wheelchair accessible, and the restrooms are also wheelchair accessible. The standout was the bomba di riso con piccione, a unique dish with tender pigeon encased in perfectly cooked rice, delivering a rich, unforgettable taste. Every bite felt like a celebration of Emilia-Romagna’s culinary heritage. The staff and chef were friendly and attentive, enhancing the experience with their genuine hospitality. Brisla Trattoria is a gem for anyone craving an authentic and flavorful introduction to Emilian cuisine. Highly recommended!

11/10/2025: Great Emilian food with very good open wines. We've had a tasty lunch. Only hiccup was that we needed to wait quite some time for the dessert for my girlfriend while I've already got mine. The waiters spoke good English which made it even easier for us to feel comfortable.
