05/01/2026: The restaurant, family-run for generations, is charming and welcoming. The owner walked around the tables to ask how lunch was going, and you could clearly sense her attention to detail and passion for the products on offer. We ordered a cured meats appetizer, which was decent but not particularly noteworthy, while the selection of vegetables and their giardiniera were truly excellent: you could taste they were prepared with their own produce. For starters, we chose a trio of traditional dishes—pisarei e fasò, tagliatelle with wild boar ragù, and gnocchi with red squash and walnuts—all very good and well-executed. The bill was also more than fair for the amount we ate. Overall, a good experience, in a rustic, authentic, and homey atmosphere.

The atmosphere is refined yet warm and welcoming, making every guest feel pampered from the moment they arrive. A special shout-out goes to Alessia: friendly, professional, and incredibly attentive to detail. Her welcome is impeccable, always with a smile and that rare ability to make every guest feel important. Her presence makes the experience even more enjoyable and memorable. The dish that won me over was the frog risotto: simply extraordinary. Perfectly cooked, al dente, and enveloping creaminess, with a refined and authentic balance of flavors. The tender and flavorful frogs enhance the dish with surprising delicacy. A true masterpiece of tradition, elegantly reinterpreted. Sincere compliments to the chef, who demonstrates great talent, technique, and passion. Each dish reflects research, quality ingredients, and a love of cooking. A memorable gastronomic experience that I highly recommend to anyone looking to treat themselves to a special day. I will definitely be back

The dishes are beautiful and delicious, well-balanced, and stand out for both the high-quality ingredients and the technique, perfectly crafted by Parisian chef Raphael. The staff is attentive, friendly, and always smiling. Highly recommended, especially for special occasions.

07/04/2026: I returned once again for lunch to this magical place, where time slows down and the welcome is friendly yet professional. A surprising appetizer, pumpkin flan, delicious first courses, and a second course of gnocco, tigelle, and borlenghi, which also included delicious home-grown vegetables. Homemade desserts. The outdoor space is gorgeous, and if you have children, they can play there and meet the farm animals.

06/04/2026: In the middle of Easter lunch, without a reservation and with the place packed, we simply asked for a bottle of Lambrusco to drink in the garden: everyone was very kind and even brought us a plate of garganelli with ragù, which were delicious. Thank you all.

20/09/2025: Last night, September 19th, we ordered three pizzas through Just It from a vacation rental: a Margherita, a prosciutto, and a Calabrian olive pizza. However, I had to contact the pizzeria twice (for Just It orders) and spoke to two people: a boy and a girl; both were polite, kind, and very friendly. All three pizzas were very good, and not to mention the pizza delivery man, who was extremely friendly and helpful. They truly deserved three full stars! Excellent experience for three ladies from Trieste 😊

13/04/2026: Crescentine far exceeded my expectations; ordering the cheese and mixed cheese platter, I was able to see some dishes and combinations of ingredients that strike the perfect balance between tradition and experimentation in Bolognese cuisine. A note of praise is that due to internal misunderstandings, I had asked to cancel a dish; they gave it to me anyway, but they offered it to me instead, a gentlemanly gesture that's hard to find these days. (…Plus, I'd forgotten a personal item, and the staff was incredibly kind.)

13/04/2026: A great place for our large group of friends in Bologna to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday. We wanted something easy so we wouldn't spend too much time at the table, but still tasty, and we were satisfied! The service was quick, unexpectedly so given the number of diners, so much so that the appetizers arrived almost immediately after we ordered. They were delicious, too: the tigelle and crescentine, the various cured meats, and the fried tortellini... but what really thrilled me was the cheese plate with its toppings, absolutely amazing. We also enjoyed the various tagliatelle, lasagna, tortellini in broth, and cotolette alla Bolognese... all washed down with a nice Lambrusco! The desserts were also good, and the price was reasonable for what we ate and drank. Perhaps the worst part was that we celebrated a bit noisily, and I apologize to the staff, who were otherwise very kind. One last note: The restaurant, along with many others, is located inside the Mercato delle Erbe, right in the city center. It's very convenient and has an informal and original atmosphere. What can I say... a perfect choice!

11/04/2026: Everything was delicious; the pasta was handmade. We ordered both the rice and the ravioli and lasagna, all of which were good quality. We paired them with a local Ortrugo wine from the Piacenza hills, which was a pleasant surprise and discovery. The service was excellent, attentive and friendly, and the price was in line with the quality of the dinner. Recommended.

15/02/2026: We returned to Osteria del Calderone for the second time, and once again the experience was simply fantastic. The first time, we came on the recommendation of friends from Parma: we're from Cremona and had set out with one goal in mind: torta fritta. We discovered not only an exceptional torta fritta, accompanied by top-quality cured meats, but also the "Sgonfiett," a real surprise: the one with fontina and cooked shoulder ham and the one with gorgonzola are truly special. The portions are so generous that we couldn't even finish them all, and when we took home what was left, we discovered that, even the next day, reheated in the oven, it was still delicious—and that's not a given. This second time, we returned for our Valentine's Day lunch, just my partner Matteo and I, and we finally got to try other dishes that we'd only overlooked the previous time. The pumpkin tortelli were superb, and the herb tortelli were delicate and truly well-made. Then two cuts of beef: venison and Angus, both excellent, accompanied by baked potatoes and mixed salad. The wine was also excellent: we chose a Chianti with a truly rare quality-price ratio, especially considering how much you eat and the satisfaction you leave with. We're almost disappointed we don't have photos to share, but the truth is that once the dishes arrive, the thought of taking photos doesn't even occur: the focus is entirely on the quality of the food and the pleasure of eating it. A special thanks to Giorgia, always present, kind, and elegant in her service; to Valentina, who knows how to put guests at ease with naturalness and professionalism; and to Filippo, for the atmosphere that reigns here. An osteria we gladly return to, and will return to again.

16/11/2025: I went to this place for lunch for the first time. It's a very welcoming place, almost like being at home. The food is delicious, and the service is excellent. The staff is friendly and helpful, always available. Highly recommended for any type of gathering, whether for families, groups, or couples.

04/04/2026: Absolutely delicious! The value for money is unbeatable. The atmosphere might take some getting used to for some, but we loved it. Daily specials menu! The food is fantastic. You can choose from several courses, and the price is always the same. First course: €10 Second course: €15 Third course: €20 And all courses include an appetizer and dessert. Drinks and snacks are not included.

13/03/2026: A typical tavern offering a wide selection of traditional Romagna dishes. Here you can enjoy excellent tagliatelle and meats cooked on the spot over the large open fireplace. The tripe is excellent.
