31/03/2026: We had lunch at the inn and I must say we had a great time. The place is beautiful, with a very suggestive summer setting (a beautiful view of the Reggio Emilia Apennines) and a view of the Bismantova stone. We were welcomed with kindness and professionalism. The presence of our dog, Blacky, was not a problem. Traditional cuisine, but also something special. Very good wines. The prices are excellent considering the high quality. We returned a second time, remembering the good impression we had the first time. Everything confirmed, a beautiful place, where you feel comfortable (I recommend it). No one should be offended (it's where we stayed best in the area). A special thanks to Marzia for her kindness.

29/03/2026: Family lunch at this restaurant with a stunning view of the Pietra di Bismantova. Everyone was extremely satisfied with the welcome, the cuisine, and the friendliness of both the owner, Marzia, and the service from the young and smiling Giulia. And what can I say about the dishes cooked by Sonia and Rachida...🔝!!! Highly recommended!!!

31/03/2026: For a Ferrarese aperitivo, this is the perfect place. Their bombette con la coppa are amazing, the Aperol Spritz is expertly made, and the natural Prosecco is amazing. You can also find their coppa in their shop, absolutely worth trying. Highly recommended, an excellent experience.

31/01/2026: We came for an aperitivo and it was truly excellent. The Aperol Spritz was perfect (fresh, well-balanced, with a lovely orange slice) accompanied by a very thoughtful and tasty selection of appetizers. The atmosphere was pleasant and the service was friendly and attentive. We'll be back!

12/02/2026: Stopped by with a friend on a Saturday for lunch. The owner was incredibly helpful in finding us a table even though we hadn't booked. The place immediately evokes the feel of a 1970s club. Despite everything, the tables are set with impeccable professionalism. The cuisine is the same as it used to be, as we used to eat at our grandparents' house on holidays. The dishes are tasty but well-proportioned, neither minute nor overdone. A must-try is the cart of fantastic boiled meats; watching them arrive reveals the quality of the ingredients, accompanied by succulent sauces and pickled vegetables, also reminiscent of past flavors. The Lambrusco is one of those dark ones that stain the glass. The price is standard for Reggio Emilia, but it's not cheap. The service is attentive and meticulous.

07/02/2026: Title: EMBARRASSMENT AND CRAZY PRICES. RUN AWAY. Review: I strongly advise against this place to anyone who doesn't want to be ripped off. There were eight of us here and we paid €43 each, an outrageous sum for the service we received. The lack of transparency was total: we weren't given a menu, a tactic clearly designed to hide the prices before the bill. The appetizer was an insult: €20 per person for a ridiculous little plate with three slices of prosciutto, two of salami, and two of coppa, plus some mortadella and parmesan in the center of the table. Paying €160 for appetizers alone for such a paltry amount is madness that can't be justified in any restaurant in the area. The wine management was also terrible: two bottles of Lambrusco were served already opened (a totally unfair practice) and had an undrinkable iron-like taste. The worst moment was at the register: after we complained about the price of our appetizer, the manager tried to give us €40 back in cash to settle the matter. A pitiful gesture that confirms their bad faith: they knew full well they'd inflated the bill, hoping we wouldn't say anything.

14/12/2025: What can I say? It's our go-to summer spot. Lunches and dinners with our feet in the sand. Reservations recommended! Good food and impeccable service. A beach bar with friendly and knowledgeable bartenders. You have to stop by!!

But this time I wanted to compliment the fresh pasta, which I buy for every event I have to host at home. The cappelletti are truly perfect, the thickness of the pasta, the filling, and the size. Well done, very well done.

31/03/2026: I ate the biggest breaded cutlet of my life, the buffet with pepper was very good, I recommend it, perfect service, friendly and welcoming people, they spoke Portuguese 😁, calm and familiar atmosphere, one of the best restaurants I ate at in Italy.

31/03/2026: The food was OK but didn't stand out compared to for instance across the street. The service felt really not personal and rather rushed. After securing you a seat, the attention directly shifts to getting others in and getting you out as soon as possible (by serving your dishes in record time).

10/03/2026: Everything was beautiful and delicious, from the hotel to the restaurant. The room was spotless, breakfast could be improved. The restaurant was excellent, with special mention for the young man and woman serving dinner, who were cheerful and smiling, almost the opposite of those serving breakfast in the morning.
