06/10/2025: We found this place by chance while strolling through Gatteo looking for something to eat (given the season, many restaurants have now finished their season). We entered, drawn by the atmosphere, which gave us a wonderful feeling of small, tidy, and lovingly run, and it was a wonderful discovery. Seeing the pizzas of other diners, we opted for the same choice. From the menu, we sensed a "Neapolitan" touch throughout. Proof of this came from the exquisite pizzas, carefully prepared, plentiful, and with excellent ingredients. Monica's (the owner's daughter) kindness was greatly appreciated; friendly and outgoing, she made us feel at ease, just what we were looking for. What can I say: well done, excellent family management, you undoubtedly deserve 5 stars. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely return to this place. Keep up the good work, congratulations. 28/09/2025: We went to this place last night for dinner. We wanted passatelli, but they were out of stock, so the waiter offered us sea bass-filled ravioli. We accepted, but the quality was poor and the price was decidedly exorbitant. I pointed this out, and the waiter himself admitted that they were, in fact, mass-produced. They offered us coffee to make up for the poor quality, but we won't be returning. Today we had lunch with generously sized first courses of excellent-quality fish for the same price at another place...

11/10/2025: The service was terrible. They tried to charge me twice for the same ice cream. The ice cream was very basic, pre-made. And when I tried to sit outside at one of the tables, they kicked us out because they were already closing. Terrible service.

03/10/2025: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We went to Circolo l’Ancora with the whole family and were thrilled! We ate an entirely seafood-based menu: delicious dishes, generous portions, and incredibly fresh fish. The atmosphere is pleasant, welcoming, and meticulously maintained, but what really makes the difference is the kindness and helpfulness of the owners and waiters. A big hello and thank you to the owner, Carmine, who made us feel right at home. A restaurant we recommend to everyone and can't wait to return to!

09/11/2025: The first time was out of curiosity, the second time for confirmation, and the third time I can confidently say that the food is truly, truly delicious. Excellent and plentiful first courses, truly delicious second courses, and kind and attentive service. Highly recommended.

02/11/2025: A pleasant discovery. This restaurant was recommended to me by some local friends. The location is very charming, as the main dining room was converted from an old stable. For dinner, I had tortelloni with mushroom ragù, and for my main course, Crescentino with a platter of cured meats and cheeses. Everything was delicious. I'll definitely be back.

It is accessed through a small door 🚪 that leads to the lower floor, where the actual restaurant is located. Osteria del Teatro 🎭, in fact, presents itself as a delightful little cellar, completely renovated with taste and attention to detail. The atmosphere is intimate and very welcoming. The staff 🧑🏻👩🏻 are all very young (a nice thing), extremely polite and professional. As soon as we arrived, we were kindly greeted by the owner 🧔🏻 who showed us to a seat. Shortly thereafter, one of the waiters showed up at our table and asked if we would like an aperitif 🍸 before lunch (we declined as we are not used to drinking on an empty stomach, but we greatly appreciated this gesture of courtesy and welcome). We opted for a platter of pancetta 🥓, coppa, and squacquerone, a portion of Angus carpaccio, and a plate of Francescane with truffle and Taleggio 🧀. Everything was truly delicious 😋, but beyond that, what struck me was the full-bodied flavors, a clear sign of the quality and freshness of the ingredients used 👌. Good value for money (45 euros 💶 in total, including cover charge 🍽, water 💧, and two coffees ☕). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 👍, because I believe treating yourself to a good lunch in a quality establishment is always a satisfying experience. 25/10/2025: Beautiful place. Perfect for aperitifs, birthdays, and parties in general. Excellent service and a relaxed atmosphere. It's right in the center of the town square, so it's always busy and a safe place for young people.
