21/09/2025: After three weeks in Italy, enjoying fantastic Italian cuisine in many different restaurants, we stumbled upon Osteria Camporosso by chance on our way back from our trip... They were actually already full that evening, but they still made room for us... Of all the times, we enjoyed this evening the most... What a beautiful, atmospheric location! The honest and delicious products were fantastically prepared with such flavor and nuance... This chef deserves a big 10... The boys and girls serving were so incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional...where else do you find that? Afterward, I even received two delicious pieces of cake to have with coffee the next morning... Everyone at Camporosso, thank you for this unforgettable evening...

How likely are you to find yourself in Reggio Emilia for the "Campovolo di Ligabue" and, choosing a random place, be able to enjoy an excellent aperitivo, even gluten-free, accompanied by good wine in a place you've never been before? How likely are you that a person with hearing impairment can open (as is only right) a wine bar and offer the opportunity to learn and acquire a tiny bit of sign language with smiles, jokes, and kindness? How likely are you to have a pleasant chat with the owner and waitress, so much so that you find yourself talking with them until closing time and helping them clear the table because it feels like being at a friend's house? How likely are you to meet, in the middle of the conversation, a girl who played on the national volleyball team with one of your elementary school classmates, who also happens to be a fellow citizen of a small town in Irpinia? Very slim... and yet at "Anma Bar" it was possible! ...what can I say... it's a place worth a stop, 5 stars well deserved! Greetings from the Irpinia/Roman trio! :)

04/09/2025: We were passing by and decided to stop. They set up our table right away. The owner is a true Campanian and very welcoming. We didn't have to wait long for the pizzas. We ordered tuna and onion and arugula, parmesan, and cherry tomatoes. Both were good. There's both indoor and outdoor seating. The restrooms are particularly clean and tidy. Prices are moderately low and there's a wide selection of pizzas. The dough is fine and the pizzas are a standard size. Two pizzas and two medium beers came to around €25. I recommend them for informal occasions.

07/10/2025: A typical Piacenza trattoria just 10 minutes from the city center. Modern, but certainly not cold. Impeccable service and very traditional dishes. A very comprehensive wine list with local options at reasonable prices. Dishes are very traditional, yet very good. Among the best Piacenza tortelli you'll find anywhere. Prices are reasonable for what you get.

09/10/2025: Good hotel. A little out of the way, but the city center, being small, isn't too far for those who enjoy walking. The entire staff is friendly and polite (something I don't take for granted). The service is excellent and professional.

16/09/2025: I had booked my stay here for three nights as I was meant to participate in the Workshop on Scientific and Computational Gastronomy at University di Parma. The infrastructure is top class. Food, especially the breakfast platter, is excellent, at part with a 3/4 star hotel in Europe. The support staff is very helpful. It is, however, slightly off from the core of Parma city. Having said that, the bus connectivity is good with a few bus stops available at walkable distance from the hotel.
