We tried several dishes – including the Lasagne verdi tradizionali, Tagliatelle al ragù bolognese, the green stuffed pasta, and, to finish, a fantastic tiramisu. Everything was superb: fresh pasta, intense flavors, and exactly the honest, down-to-earth cuisine you look for in Bologna. The lasagne was particularly delightful – perfectly layered, creamy, with a rich ragù, and prepared with great care. The tiramisu was also a worthy finale: light, creamy, and bursting with flavor. The service was friendly and attentive, and the location in the Mercato delle Erbe creates a special atmosphere – vibrant, authentic, yet cozy. Here, you can feel the connection between tradition and modern Bolognese culinary culture. For anyone who wants to enjoy authentic pasta and regional specialties in Bologna, this is a definite recommendation. We would come back anytime! 🍝❤️

A must-try every time I come to Bologna. Well-executed traditional cuisine, excellent tigelle (served with delicious Modena pesto) and crescentine (enjoyed with cured meats, mortadella mousse, and many other local specialties). Excellent homemade pasta (tortellini, tagliatelle), and a traditional Bolognese cutlet. Also worth trying are the meatballs, a true standout that blends tradition and innovation. A well-stocked wine list, prompt, courteous service, and fair prices.

We visited Bologna and stopped at the spice market and inside there is this bistro, a young, dynamic atmosphere. We treated ourselves to a nice platter of cold cuts accompanied by fried dumplings and nice hot focaccia. I recommend it.

I was with some friends and we ordered several pasta dishes, all fresh and perfectly cooked, plus two very juicy cottolettas. Everything was a good size, enough to leave you feeling full. The desserts are also fantastic; I recommend the mascarpone and the ice cream with cherries. The location, inside a market, adds a nice touch. Highly recommended.

I had a parmigiana and a tortelli with sage, borage and pine nuts for €29.

A fantastic restaurant right in the middle of a food market! They serve typical Bolognese dishes like ragù, pizza, pasta, and cold platters. We ordered one of these, a platter for two with a variety of regional sausages and cheeses. The platter was absolutely worth the €23 price tag. The staff were also very friendly and attentive.

An excellent choice for traditional Bolognese cuisine in the center of Bologna, without compromises or tourist traps. High-quality local produce, generous, and delicious dishes. The photos speak for themselves; my first review was over three years ago, when they were still called Polpette e Crescentine, and since then I've continued to enjoy going there regularly, bringing friends from all over Italy who want to try Bolognese cuisine.

Restaurant in a market hall with an outdoor area. Very friendly service, fair prices, and delicious food. The ragu was amazing, the lasagna even better.
